  1. I started clanning with TORC, sup? And I think that's the best solution to do so.
  2. 100K votes already. I really hope they just don't do it for the guinness book of world records. EDIT: If you're up for a good laugh, check this guy's reaction when hearing the good news; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1MCiA6QYfs
  3. If you've read the topic's name, simply check it for yourself: http://www.runescape.com/wilderness Cast your vote! Also, if the wilderness and old trade limit comes back how will this affect the clan world?
  4. As some of you might remember EA joined TWR and sparked up things a bit, and they were talking trash about us and LGZ et cetera and I normally don't care about it but when it comes to personally targetting any of my members, it's crossing the line for me. No offense to everyone of EA, there are some people who don't flame, respect to those. I wanted to settle this 'beef' as soon as possible and challenged them, sadly I didn't had the chance to challenge them for TWR since they kind of ragequitted after their loss in their first war against KO, anyway we agreed on the following rules; Matched CWA Classic - Center bounds Melee/binds/Ranged Dungeoneering ON Corrupt OFF North spawn Attacks Prayer/Strength potions/Rings allowed 2 Man sniper cap Memberlist of LGZ: http://runehead.com/clans/ml.php?clan=legendz ~ 47 Memberlist of EA: http://www.runehead.com/clans/ml.php?clan=ea_scouter ~ 64 We were really pumped up for this, especially when I speeched for like a minute. Legendz starting: 72 options ~ 24 - Dropped to 22 Elite Assassins starting: 69 options ~ 23 - They had a DC They could attack us first so we waited south east for them to rush us, looking trough their pile they outlevelled us and had a lot of EAnumbers. We started off by piling dark fart which was pretty much an instant K0 while Khalid2ka tanked it up for us, next pile was a K0 as well. While the fight went on we managed to get some fast kills although our binds slacked a bit when we were feeling a bit too comfortable. I enjoyed leading while Dric's parents rushed him IRL. Anyway the fight got messy near the end when they mass sniped and luckily got a few kills because some of us weren't really focused anymore (due to the LOL's we had in TS) but the victory was ours. Legendz ending: 45 options ~ 15 - 16 if Speckles didn't cabbage tele instead of run recharge  Elite Assassins ending: 0 Video including speech will be put up later on. P.S.: If you haven't done it already; Cast your vote on the TIF Clan Awards of 2010! http://forum.tip.it/topic/282638-2010-tipit-clan-awards/
  5. Saw you taking an ending, too bad you don't got many pictures of the fight itself.
  6. All clans who have been actively been part of the Clan Community during 2010 can be voted on so that still gives you a lot of possibilities, I'll be disappointed if I don't receive a PM from you. What do you mean "actively", do you have a pre-defined set of terms or is it just your opinion? I'm a bit curious about this as well. How do you define a clan being active in the community? For example, since I post here does it make Divine Forces an active participant in the community? As I said to Red_Fat1 in IRC, all clans and teams who posted here frequently troughout the year and who represent a part of the clan community in here are possible participants. So yes Divine Forces can be taken into account for this, like the topic says these awards are for those who made this community special in 2010, they're meant to reward those people/clans/teams for their efforts and performances.
  7. Seems like you had some challenging fights, congratulations TT/TR/RoT.
  8. I'm truly gratefull for your dedication and swiftness on the fact you sent them in already like 3 other people but I'd prefer that you'd actually completely read the topic, you would've known nominations aren't allowed to be sent in already, now you'll have to do it over, especially since there has been added a clan award. Glad you're so honest about it, I understand why you'd want to have post on topic but in this way I believe the results will be a suprise for everyone AND more reliable since I'll really be severe with the given PM's, of course I wouldn't tolerate any amount of votes all for themselves or obvious (fake) accounts who haven't been posting/active during the year. So you're saying I should have left out the teams, wouldn't that be quite harsh? they're part of this community as well even if there are a smaller amount of teams than clans they still actively take part in here and I don't know about you but I can come up with Impulse, Silent Ember, TKO Blitz, Dark Legacy et cetera that can be seen as a possible winner. Also the idea of allowing the voting in 2 days is to being capable of editing any details and sorting out possible problems but you have to forgive me that I didn't take in mind it requires A LOT of effort for you to come back on in 2 days since the chance you'll be around sometime in the time limit of yesterday untill the 31st of December is pretty close to 0,01%. All clans who have been actively been part of the Clan Community during 2010 can be voted on so that still gives you a lot of possibilities, I'll be disappointed if I don't receive a PM from you. Of course, like all clan community leaders/moderators/admins. Every person who has been actively part of the clan community during the year. Last but not least, there has been added a new clan award ~ Most Underrated Clan.
  9. The end of 2010 is near and it is only a matter of time before we reach the start of a whole new year, 2011. Will it be a year where the clan world's size will stop decreasing or will it keep slowly shrinking, we will see but there's no time to think about that for now! We should always keep in mind about the fact we're all in for this due to the entertainment we get out of it and now the time has come to recognize those clans, teams and individuals who made 2010 special. I and the Tip.it Clans' section proudly present you the 2010 Tip.it Clan Awards! In order to give out these awards, we need everyone's help to nominate who they think should get the award(s). BUT unlike last year we're going to try out something new, instead of posting your nominations on this topic you will send it as a Private Message to me which will make it even more exciting and the results will be a suprise for everyone (except for me of course). So, simply copy and paste the following Individual and Clan awards, fill it out and send it as a Private Message to me. After the deadline we will tally up the votes and the winners will receive a fancy signature. Nominating will be possible from the 17th of December untill the 31st of December. [spoiler=Help, I don't know how to send a Private Message! Click here!] Don't worry it's really simple, since you want to PM your nominations to me you have multiple options on how you can do it. The fastest and easiest way is by visiting my profile (simply the person you want to send a PM), you do this by clicking on my username, this will link you automatically as for every user on these boards. Then you'll have to look on the left where you should be able to see "send me a message", like this; If you clicked on that and everything went well then this should pop on your screen; Simply paste your nominations in there and you're capable of sending them to me, if you don't really feel confident with the small overview of this whole message then you can (and I do suggest you to) click on "Use Full Editor". If you think you're ready, just click on "send" and you're done! These are the templates which you have to copy, paste, fill out and send to me. Oh and let's not forget, participating is as important as winning. Keep in mind to not be biased in your nominations and to nominate clans/people who regularly posted in here during the year. If anything changes it will be told in here. Last but not least, happy holidays. P.S.: Once again think twice before you send them in, changes will not be allowed. There's plenty of time so rushing isn't needed but don't be lazy either. Nominations have closed and signatures are under construction.
  10. Expected, at first I thought you posted this but then I saw Romdath's name. Seems like all 4 clans had fun, good job.
  11. Congratulations RoT, was there AC'ing most of the time as well and it was hilarious to see how Brut logged out within a minute after RoT and TT logged in at west tree, chasing after VR & Brut. That made my day.
  12. Melee/binds(/blasts) since it helps a lot.
  13. It was really close at the start, we were 50ish LP away from K0'ing our first pile but props for an amazing recovery of 'nice friend'. Shame that you had to rely on having more snipers and at moments mass sniping or having two piles to get a win while we agreed on a 2 man sniper cap. I'll edit a picture of it later on in. Can't deny I'm disappointed and then I'm not even talking about the massive flaming/trolling you guys did. I know you guys are heading for top 5 or #1 in TWR but do it fair and clean at least... P.S.: Abkb learn to troll/flame properly young boy, saying something like 'back to cwa' when you're standing in the middle of it shows your lack of intelligence/maturity once again. Hands up! EDIT: Congratulations Alkaedalatin.
  14. Congratulations RoT and the fact of having a clean war. Good to see you guys posting here, keep that up.
  15. Not a fan of a list questionnary. :kanye: It's quite obvious, it started off with RoT & DF against EoS & VR but the reason why the crash war keeps becoming bigger is because it keeps lasting and more clans keep getting involved with it such as DK/TT/PH et cetera. It's not only because those clans' fights get crashed also because there's simply nothing else to do. For example RSD is trying to participate in it as well, simply because they can't get a real fight with another top 10 clan since it will end up in a cluster (notice how they've been fighting in P2P lately), it's the same thing for Corruption if they want to maintain strong they'll have to come out of their shell and step up. Exodus won't really do that much but I do see them sticking trough, if you're capable of getting free rune, why wouldn't you take the chance if there's nothing else to do (because I don't see them stepping in P2P). Other clans who I think who possibly might join in on the fun is CR (perhaps to smash Exodus like in the good old days), TR and Collision.
  16. Sjit just got real. I'm curious how long it will take before problems will occur, although best of luck I suppose.
  17. Seems like you feasted once again.
  18. It's always good to see a Chicken Little. Dungeoneering weapons can go up to 370 and it's used a lot more then corrupt in wars. It's not necessarily about the damage soaking, rather about the fact people who didn't used to be the best tank now can greatly improve it by seeing a difference in hits because of the icons that show up, this will make warring more boring.
  19. It will have a huge impact on smaller clans, I can't believe they hate us that much.
  20. Impressive job TRWF, congratulations.
  21. Weighing up the benefits and the drawbacks, do you think it's better to have members who log in just to war, or members who play the game regularly? I'd prefer to have members who still enjoy playing the game itself or who simply keep playing it, having an amount of people who only log on for wars ain't bad but if it's the majority of the clan you kind of have an inactive community depending on how many wars you weekly have. What do you do? Do you play the game or do you just log in for wars? I play the game when I have the time. If you was a Clan Leader, would you focus on your members just coming to wars or encourage them to try new skills and to play the game more regular to get involved with the community? I'd encourage them to actively be part of the community meaning they're free to show up (or not) for events et cetera but I personally do support it though. Do you know anybody who only logs in for wars, and if so do you think it's good or bad? Why? I know a few who do and I understand their reasons for it, let's keep it at good since they still take the time to show up though.
  22. Cheers for clarifying that Dan.
  23. Most likely for attention or trying to humiliate that clan. I don't see why you wouldn't do it when it's meant out of respect and both sides enjoyed it.
  24. We arranged a war with a new team called Otaku for a 20 man capped war which they asked for themselves with these rules. 20 Man Capped CWA Classic - Center bounds Melee/binds/Ranged Dungeoneering ON Corrupt OFF North spawn Attacks Prayer/Strength potions/Rings allowed 2 Man sniper cap Memberlist of LGZ: http://runehead.com/clans/ml.php?clan=legendz ~ 52 Memberlist of Otaku: http://runehead.com/clans/ml.php?clan=otakusteam ~ 33 Since they were new we didn't quite know what to expect of these guys but we did recognize some familiar names in it of other clans. I looked up in Google what Otaku actually meant and this is what I found. No troll intended, it was simply funny to see that pop up. Anyway as soon as we wished each other best of luck we hopped in the arena and this is how it went; Legendz starting: 60 options ~ 20 Otaku starting: 36 options ~ 12 Given the numerical advantage we could end the war quite easily although they managed to kill our Ashley after a very solid tank. <3: I must admit they had some good tanks though. Both sides happily agreed on a second matched round after restocking. Legendz starting: 60ish options ~ 20ish (Dropped to 15) Otaku starting: 45 options ~ 15 They pulled a few more, we didn't really care if it were friends or not so we went to face them again. The war started off slowly with both piles taking down the solid tanks, things speeded up a bit when we transitioned to their lowest level (102) and we KO'd him, we had a one man advantage most of the time but they did manage to keep the score close and tied. The last time I checked it was 9v9 but we kept going with an outstanding performance of everyone and we took advantage again. A bit later we had another KO and after that we knew we were bringing the win home. At one point our dear 'Legendz Park' was extremely low on HP and had no prayer/run/food left giving us the mission to save him when the score was 8v4. We managed to do this for a suprising amount of time untill he unfortunately did get caught, after that we took revenge and cleared the area. Legendz ending: 21 options ~ 7 Otaku ending: 0 options Sorry that I can't provide an exact ending picture. It surely was a good and enjoyable war, respect for keeping it clean and giving us a second round. Thanks for the fights Otaku, you had some solid tanks and trybids, best of luck towards the future!
  25. Took your time.
