Any tips on how to use pixel counters? I've never used one (or even know if I have one).

Arch, I just don't know how to make an easy shape with exactly 18564 pixels.

Wait, we can just tell you in text how many of each thingy we have?

Errr what? I was just saying that I only want to build enough mines to harvest the sustainable amount of resources, which means I'd have to make a new development style for each planet. I'd rather make a general pixal map and for example have a purple box that is "subject to change, based on the planet." So if a planet has so and so resources, then it has exactly so and so mines and the rest being farms or something. Could I do that?

So traits aren't necessarily positive anymore? Maybe each trait has a corresponding likely weakness, so if a general has one positive trait, they're likely to have the negative trait, and vice versa. That way generals learning traits in combat would be better than usual generals aside from the star system you had, because they'd be earning positive traits without gaining negative.

^ In sorta the same vein, I want to completely optimise my developments to the planet. Pixels make that sorta tedious.

I have a study hall 1st period. I don't really want to eat at 9, right after breakfast. I was trying for Algebra 2, but my mom was making me try for a lunch while I didn't really care. We have Geometry.

Hey Arch, I am a bit tied up today, so I'll start whenever I get the chance to do my tech list and developments. I basically have the pixel numbers planned out, but I just need to make the picture.
-
The Back Room
Nex, there is absolutely no chance I would have a lunch period.

To calculate power output per pixal for psionics. For example, random formula: 5h x Y Where h is the number of housing pixals and Y is the race modifier. ---- Oh, and does it matter the pattern I'm making in the developments? Or is it just the number of pixels.

Okay, final question sbefore I set off to start my developments. Do we start with free, fully-built developments? What research is necessary to use anti-matter energy safely? Also, is there a formula for psionic power generation?

Is there a starting resource that I could gather which doesn't incur the double cost penalty for the Lichtens with "traditional resources?" I thought that was only applicable because I couldn't really trade with other people for some resources without incuring that penalty. Or does Earthex not count?

Makes sense. Is there any reason to have more than one spaceport per planet? (Like is there certain limits for each port?) Also, is the resource "sustainability" number on the planet info page of any resource? Like if the number is 10000, can I choose to harvest...ten thousand uranium OR ten thousand kelp, or is there only a certain amount of each thing? Do farms work like mines for me as the Licht, mainly as harvesting Lichten materials, or is there something else going on with them?

I've sorta lost the rules for how to make developments (with regards to housing and roads and stuff). Could you please put that on the front page?
-
Delta V
Okay. I'll probaly be able to fit in 30 minutes each day, but I won't have any time for large plans or anything. I just need to make developments now, right?

Also, I was wondering if this was the kind of the game where I don't need too much time, since I'll probaly be really busy on the weekdays.

I have a great idea. Since people have to pay if they hurt someone using their car, then people should have to pay a tax for any noise their car emits. Scientists can determine it. We can also add taxes on greenhouse emissions and excessive use of paper. Note that this is on the consumer, so that it would be millions of people complaining to the companies to make quiter/cleaner/recycled products. While we're at it, let's tax for excessive electricity consumption on peak hours and backyard swimming pools. ^ Tax and spend Democrat

The Back Room
No, I'm saying that the economic damages of noise pollution probaly exceed the damages of runovers.
-
The Back Room
I disagree. Noise pollution is far more disruptive than getting run over, especially since you can't exactly avoid noise pollution.

Everyone deserves a stick of Uranium. If anyone hasn't figured out by now, I was completely sarcastic from the beginning.
-
The Back Room
Sure, why not? What's the harm of having a small nuclear power plant in everyone's car?
-
The Back Room
Nuclear power cars are a yes! Think about cruising around in the desert, when your fuel tank runs dry! Oh no, what ever shall you do! Oh wait, I have a spare rod of Uranium in the trunk, let me go get it! Or you could use an electric car...with the electricity from nuclear power.

Algae fuel! Nuclear! Best two fuels. As long as the fission/fusion happens NOT IN MY BACKYARD.

Suggestions and the like.
I think becoming a mod could sometimes be the same as becoming a clan leader. Of course it's naturally fun to be in the community, but there is a lot of work involved with it. Then you know that if you stopped being a moderator to simply enjoy the community that you helped create/sustain, the community might not be the same. This probaly doesn't apply to every instance though. So Nex, when I took over leadership for the clan years ago, that was not because I was powerhungry! :) ^ Becoming a mod is about helping the community than getting the tools to do it.
