Good luck! Remember that their first impression of you will haunt you for years to come. No pressure though!

It seems easier to use outside influences. Best to use every possible advantage. It's not like Napoleanic monarchs and leaders couldn't look thousands of years into the future and the past to see the other lives of their enemies.

Strelets are definitely the most versatile unit in AOG3. It's so easy just to spam them as cannon fodder while your falconets take down their falconets and your mortars rip apart their town. Cassadors are useful for that as well, for the skirmishing ability, instead of the cannon fodder. A bit more micromanagement but it's probaly more cost effective. Only problem is when the Ottomans and the French sometimes spawn armies of pure calvary and artillery, and I've built nothing to counter it.

Napoleonic Hegemony
I think that the game odds are stacked closer to your favor than it was before. Actually, around four days ago when I decided to quit, I was thinking about using my last ten years to declare holy war on the HRE and basically steamroll the only chance of stopping France, but I decided against it because it seemed sorta mean for someone who was quitting. In this case, maybe you could ally with the fragments of Russia that aren't controlled by an insane Empress who knows that her reign would end in five years. < Me

Napoleonic Hegemony
Archi, that's Catherine's retirement home! The theocracy of Russia is the rest of whatever remains. :)
-
Napoleonic Hegemony
Oh, forgot one thing. The rest of the imperial treasury is donated to the church, so that a theocracy can form. Meanwhile, Catherine is declared a living saint! Okay, done.

Napoleonic Hegemony
Oh yah, I forgot to say that I wasn't playing anymore. Sorry for forgetting. *hides* Officially: Empress Catherine takes a retirement/exile to the Kuril Islands with half the imperial treasury and five thousand imperial guard, as well as the five 3-decker ships of the Russian navy. There she builds a resort/fortress, and nominates Prince Paul to the throne.

Kimako tries to remember what they looked like, and retains it in her memory so that she can tell the ecologists when she gets back. Then she continues down the tunnel.

Kimako continues creeping, keeping the technician near the wall and walking beside him. She fires at any sound not from the technician.
-
2025
Kimako creeps down the tunnel stealthily with the technician, her MP5 with automatic setting at the ready.

Kimako checks with the technician if it's okay to go down the unblocked way. If it is, they go down that way. Otherwise, she tries to bust open the blockage with a grenade.

Kimako loots the skeleton, takes its skull, before opening the door. She reassures the technician. "The Japanese have faced worse situations than this. My grandfather prepared to fight the American soldiers as a child with a wooden spear, to defend the god-emporer. I'm sure with modern weaponary, we can face whatever Play-Doh monsters this place can throw at us." (Oh Paul, until what time approximately do you think the session will last/how much longer?)

"Good. Next time something envelopes me, use the blowtorch again. I have an artifact which gives me substantial protection from fire. Let's proceed, shall we?" Kimako continues down the hallway.

Kimako leaps to her feet and grins. "Well what seems to be the problem? No harm done." After receiving an answer, they continue briskly down the hallway.

^ Right above your thingy Kimako mentally tries to teleport out of the room. If that doesn't work, she tries to do a jig in order to get herself in touch with her surroundings and her body, perhaps determining if this is reality.

Okay, be back in an hour. Here's my action in advance: Kimako mentally tries to teleport out of the room. If that doesn't work, she tries to do a jig in order to get herself in touch with her surroundings and her body, perhaps determining if this is reality.

Kimako fires once down the hallway, before continuing down the hallway. She thinks to herself, "The only thing to fear is fear itself. This must be a huge illusion. Better not make any hasty moves."

Kimako hurries through the door with the technician, before shutting it and continuing down the hallway, this time using the door to warn her about anyone or anything coming through.
