Funzie. Jen attempts to create an elastic water band of sorts, as long as she can make it, up to ten feet if possible. Then she "asks" the ice wisp to change into the form of a scary monster of some sort. She then tries to detect if the ice wisp is completely subservient to her will, and if the ice wisp has lots of potential energy inside of it.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
There really isn't any non-UN nation that's involved in mass genocide or nuclear weapons construction.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
^ Exactly. But basically in Hegemony when one action is posted, there's a response, and a response to that, and so on, so events move much faster than reality. However, I am waiting until the action which should've happened before the UN responded happens, before I respond to the UN again. Contact me on Saturday. :P

I never said that they didn't immediately comply. They would've complied within a week (of game time), but Archi isn't exactly here, so I'm just ignoring that UN thing until my attack goes through, since I'll know my action of complying or not complying when I get the result for that. Sooo, yaaaah.

(Is a reagent like the component of the spell, like the phoenix feathers were?) Jen tries to will the Ice Wisp to float around in a circular pattern. This is to test if she has at least nominal control of the ice wisp. Then she sends a message to the Lich asking him what the ice wisp can do, since she's too lazy to walk there. Afterwards, Jen attempts to create a rope out of water that can stay ropey without her concentration.

Interesting system. After you get to the fire beam spamming point, what's there after that?

Jen places the book carefully on the ground, before trying to remember exactly what she did in the ritual. Then she looks for the Will 'o wisp that she created. ------- Ice magic level bitte? :D

Icu has had far worse luck that you have had. Infact, most of us had. That's what happens when you get a bad roll though. You get used to it eventually.

Yay, what's my ice magic level now? At her home, Jen attempts to create a magical ice prism several feet away, around a snowman. (Is this like a prism you trap people in, crush people with, or is it more like a cardboard box that you can use. Basically, is it hollow or solid? Also, any special properties compared to regular ice?)

"Hmmmm, I'll take it...on one condition. I would like to work with you in the future. Where are you headed now, and where will you be camping?" After speaking with the Lich, Jen returns to her home and begins studying her new notebook.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
That's fine. I'm the kind of person who cannot stand losses (a munchkin, as Ross would say), so I guess I was sorta fated in fighting an apocalyptic total war with millions of casualties on both sides. For example, did you know I've been planning (well I was, not really anymore) to take back Guinea from Australia, after I lost it all that time ago? I just couldn't get it out of my mind. Since it's not going to happen anyways, my plan was to surround Guinea with my ships and firebomb Australia until he ceded it. Of course I would've waited for a world war, when everyone is distracted. :P

You're guarenteeing that Italy and Australia were to be protected, so I suppose so. That's what you get for protecting someone. :P You were also the reason why I lost South Korea, so you're not blame-free either.

"Let's just say I've been betrayed by a certain Rocco too many times for my liking." Jen goes skimming through the book for interesting keywords. She isn't looking to really read anything, but to see if there's anything specific that's useful to her. Like (Summoning an ice minion) or (Freezing pillar). She basically makes sure it is above her level, so that she can learn things from it.

Double.

If my plan succeeds, all your nations are crippled, and I achieve the rest of my goals, or you all surrender, then no. I'll be fighting this war for a long time, as that will be my goal for the rest of the game, at least until peace is restored and I get all my territories back. So basically, fighting to regain all lost territories or fighting to the death.

"Does it have anything you invented? It would be interesting to learn of new techniques. Tell ya what: let me have a quick 20 second skim through the book, and if I see the title of anything interesting that I don't know yet, it's a deal. Kay?" If the lich accepts, the Jen goes skimming through the book for interesting keywords. She isn't looking to really read anything, but to see if there's anything specific that's useful to her. Like (Summoning an ice minion) or (Freezing pillar).

Except that you'd also have the power to blow them up. Anyways, I'm already in a pit, so I might as well go crazy and take some revenge shots. My navy only lost a few ships after all, and most of them were rebuilt (I was actually going to make a bigger navy, but you blew some up, so it became the same size as before).

It's just like the Federation would care if Germany occupied Britain. They're part of the same country, essentially. It's like New York caring if New Jersey was taken over by...New Guinea.

^ Care about what? Ooooh, update on Europa Universalis. I tried Burgandy, and I immediately mobilised for war. Then I struck down thousands of French troops with my English allies, and won a nice peace settlement. Burgandy is now larger than France. :D Unfortunately I attacked without Causus Belli and my people are running around screaming at me. I expect that I will die shortly. :)

"I'm a decent ice mage myself. What things would I learn from the book? (Like will I learn any skills, or how much exp, etc)"
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I would, but Italy still occupies Indonesia, and it doesn't seem like they're leaving, so I can't.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well if they actually had reluctance like Archi said earlier, then I would be concerned, but it hasn't really affected me positively. So I might as well galvinise my own people, while not really affecting your people, since they don't really seem to mind ICBMing Japan anyways.

Here Jen- "Hrm. You drive a hard bargain. Anything in particular you were looking for?" -------------- "Perhaps a staff or gem which allows me to summon ice minions which won't attack me? I've had a problem with minions betraying me recently, because of anti-magic... Of course, if you can offer very good mage training, then I would accept that as well. However, it has to be really good."

Well the educated upper class aren't being too present at the moment. Generally when the country feels warlike, it's not safe for someone to speak up against it. Besides, since many of them lost relatives in the massacres, I'm sure they wouldn't be too opposed to it. The total war thing was just to formalise it, so that Archi doesn't cancel all my attacks because the military doesn't feel like it. Losing relatives =/= an excuse for genocide. Turkey also begins a project to do research for underwater domes similar to mathers (that is, unless mather wants to make it a joint project). Sigh. PMing Archi I guess. Losing relatives isn't an excuse for genocide, especially for people who aren't idiots, but it would make it so that the people might not have as many objections to it, since they're all emotionally charged up. Lots of genocide is because of made-up "facts." Japan doesn't care about Australian propaganda, because it doesn't affect it anyways, at least for the total war that I had in mind.
