Oh yah Ross, Indonesia is already part of a confederacy with Japan. ------- Massive investment has begun on improving the standard of life in Indonesia, the poorest of the countries in the republic. Infrastructure is expected to take up all the surplus that the previous tax policies created, so debt won't be reduced until it is completed. School has become mandatory, based on the German school system. There is a school for college-bound children, and another school for non-college bound children.

Well, I guess since Malaysia has become a protectorate of India, it must be time! Yayayayaya Anyways, Japan is happy that India finally got rid of that menace of 500,000 and removes its embargo of everything, except for military supplies (obviously, Japan doesn't really trade that with anyone). It petitions to join the TFTA thing.

China and the United States have the largest militaries...I think North Korea is about tied with you in numbers.

Japan really doesn't like India stationing 500,000 troops near Indonesia, so a Japanese blockade blocks off military supplies for the military. Shipments for food are still allowed to pass for the Malaysians, and if India cannabilizes that, then it's their fault. Food is still allowed through for the Indian soldiers, but things like ammo and guns are not being allowed through. Japan allows India to send a transport fleet to return them to India without any harassment. Submarines are not allowed in the fleet. Meanwhile, it warns India that if the Indian fleet does surprise attack when Japan is allowing the Indian army to leave peacefully, then they will be crushed by the power of several battleships, even though Japan has no battleships. -points to massive artillery strategically positioned on islands- Indonesian troops are entrenched incase India decides to attack, and the navies of the allied Asian nations will begin firing if Indian warships start moving East for any decent period of time. [hide=Map] [/hide] The updates I did for the map were basically removing the part of Malaysia near Indonesia from Japanese control and placing it in Malaysia's color, and I returned the part annexed by Rocco back to Malaysia's color. Not sure if they want to join Rocco if they get invaded by China again, but if you disagree, you can go ahead and color that. But use this map, it's much more convienient, since it shows parts of countries too.

It's interesting that people have basically ignored the massive invasion of Paul into Malaysia with...how many troops? Meanwhile, Japanese naval ships part ways to allow Indian soldiers to protect the attacked part of Malaysia. Indonesia has reached 1 million total soldiers. More are not expected to follow. Japan asks Switzerland who sold the mustard gas to the deranged Tanker Captain.

Japan begins a massive clean up effort with fishing trawlers to get rid of the poisonous substance. It even cleans up Malaysia's area (awww, how sweet). Then it asks world scientists to figure out what it is and what is its effects. (Oh, is the word absolute war? That's definitely subtle. Or maybe it's subterfuge?)

Japan asks Switzerland to help maintain the military arms blockade, for the safety of its people. Meanwhile, a secret telegram is sent to the Swiss government. "Why the hell did you poison the water?"

Rocco, Japan is blocking military supplies from TFTD countries. I'm pretty sure that it's not a cause for widespread invasion. They'd also probaly ASK before they invaded, lol. Japanese marines swim under the tanker and poke some holes in its hull. Then it attempts to throw some of those orange floaty rings to save the tanker's crew, for return to Switzerland (they deserve to be put in a mental institution) Japan tells the United States that the tugboat was violating the military supplies blockade. There was no way except peaceful removal from the area.

A few of the civilians on the tug boats are hit by the small arms fire. The Japanese tug boat physically tries to block the tanker, with its crew within the ship itself. It asks the United States what to do. Also Rocco, if you moved them near Indonesia, then I wish you good luck after Paul invades. :P

The Japanese tug boats latch onto him and drag him back out into open waters, then lets him go. (I don't see you could possibly turn this into a war-like situation like you did with Grim) To Rocco, my soldiers were already in position. It was established that they didn't attack, but they were still there (since the Japanese ones were still there anyways, regardless of what was decided). So what naval troops did you send to try to destroy the fleet?

Japan telegrams the United States about what it should do about the tug boat. Meanwhile, a giant net is being used to trap the tanker (the net is pulled by a few tugs).

Japan wonders why Switzerland tries to instigate some sort of fight with it. The Japanese ships send a small little tug boat thingy to talk with the ship owners in person to ask why they are sending military supplies to Malaysia when it was clear that it was embargoed. ----- Rocco, I was saying that I had already posted another map, which according to Archi is more accurate. So you could've made the changes on that map, and returned the former Malaysian territory back to Malaysia (the one that was disputed before)

And are you fine on the embargo on military supplies?

Japan lifts the embargo because it's scared about the United States. The embargo still applies to military supplies potentially entering the country. ----- Japanese, South Korean, Indonesian, and Singaporean warships are already on hand to prevent India from intervening in the conflict. However, they will not be firing on Malaysian citizens.

Thailand allows free passage for the Chinese soldiers, as they don't want to be steamrolled. (Does that make sense to everyone?) ------ In that case Sere, since you haven't been antagonistic, shipments from the United States continues normally to Malaysia. (The US wasn't on the economic warfare map. Also, could you put a new free trade group that contains Philipines, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Papau New Guinea?

I'm not blockading your shipments Sere. I am basically blocking all tariff-free goods, mainly from that TFTA thing.

There are 500,000 Indian troops stationed in the northern part of Malaysia near Thailand. They did not reach the other part of Malaysia near Indonesia, as it was blockaded and they didn't fight my forces.

Well as long as there is no money exchanged, then Japan is fine with it. As a result of the barter economy, exports should still decrease by a large number.

Japan allows the medical supplies to be delivered (that's more of a gift, I meant exports)

Grim, I am alleviating my small land problem. Why do you think I'm trying to obtain all these countries? -------- Japan allows Switzerland to continue to trade with Malaysia at market prices, with tariffs imposed by Malaysia and Switzerland. If not, then Japan will intervene with those tariffs, but preferably Switzerland and Malaysia could sort that out.

And NOW that Singapore feels threatened, it invades Malaysia. Does that seem like reasonable action to you? ------ The navies blockade Malaysia to ensure it does not trade with the TFTA. It is allowed to trade with anyone else, even India.

Oh yes, can I get an idea on what would happen to Malaysia if it basically lost 70% of its export partners? The only way to stop it is to not join India. Do you or do you not think that it would join India? Discussion pwease. :D

Japan states that it's impossible to not embargo Malaysia, unless it becomes neutral. (Grim, you have all the tech you need to build subs. Your sub building program is basically unmatched, except by the US.)

Japan asks China to embargo Malaysia as well, to corner 80% of the market. Everyone, what do you think would happen to a nation that lost 80% of its foreign trade if it's an export oriented economy? Hmmm? Japan says that the only way the embargo can be lifted is if Malaysia either remains neutral and gives the part near Indonesia to Indonesia, it stays neutral and embargoes India, or joins the Japanese-led free trade area.
