I like the idea of the samurai sword (the new melee for demo and soldier), but I don't think I really see how it's so great. It doesn't collect heads, all it really does is heal, right?

I don't think there's anyone who isn't tired of them. Fortunately, you can get these items through normal drops/crafting, so they're sort of a real update.

I felt that discussion was prematurely stifled in a recently locked thread. Also, dubstep. I'm tired of hearing it every single day when kids are playing it, I'm tired of it being suddenly the biggest thing ever, and I'm tired of the fact that it's mostly crappy music (although I won't say it's all trash), and yet it seems everyone's into it. It reminds me of that Soulja Boy guy who the world loved for two weeks and now has completely forgotten.

FTFY That said, the existence of Diamondseeker server stuff does not actually take the place of normal MC posts - it just makes it harder to find them.

This looks awesome. It might take part of the "sandbox" quality out of Minecraft, but I actually think stuff like this should be added to the un-modded game.

If we kill everyone without common sense, we'd have nobody left. Killing is not the solution to anything, and I find this statement stupid to the point of absurdity. There it is again. How does one possibly make the jump from "I disagree with their opinions and find their tactics tactless" to "Let's murder them"? Oh, I know: By typing it into an online forum from the security of one's home and then proceeding with one's life normally. There is no logic behind this statement and I find it almost as ridiculous as the one about murder. The real solution to the problem, of course, is education, not eradication. There will always be people who feel strongly about something, and there will always be others who disagree. However, instead of having people who hang those they don't like, we now have people who organize mass demonstrations. In the future, who knows? We could have forums organized for people to hate others in a friendly, welcoming and unregulated environment.
