Claws + bgs is better, if you need a godsword. With your stats, a whip would decimate at bosses anyway. Whip does fine. Whip + decent shield + claws for spec. Badda boom, epic combo.

Claws are the spec weapon, period. Nothing beats them. If you need a gs, for some inane reason, get claws + bgs. Otherwise, claws + whip or ss is infinitly better.

Ok then, I'm opposed to skilling. How would I go about merchanting? I know nothing about it. Stuff the not spending, let's go about making good money. How?

If you want a spec weapon, sell it and get claws.

An easy method? Not really. Without chinning, I personally find range to be the slowest of the combat skills. You can basically range anything you would train melée on. If it has a lowish defence and highish lp, and doesn't hit too hard, you're right. Yaks, experiments, spiders in the stronghold, ect. Ranging does open up a few more options though. You can safespot ogres In lathias's training camp, or blues. Alternativly, you could get a little more expensive and use a cannon on rock crabs in addition to throwing knives. You Won't get constitution exp for any hits done by the cannon, though.

Picking mort myre fungus. You need a blessed silver sickle or a ivandis flail, and you cast bloom on the rotten logs in mort myre. This takes away prayer points. I think you can work out the rest.

I use the 3 spot with a bird and house tele runes. I can get a full bird/invent in one run without using any prayer pots/zammy brews, and go alter -> portal.

I don't have the stats to effecivly key run. Also, It would require cash to be spent at the start. I already farm herbs, pick papayas, manage kingdom, fletch broads from slayer masters. It's more of a specialized thread so I thought it better to post. I don't want to spend out first (not enough cash) and I'm not sure if fungus picking is the best way to do that.

Please, don't say slayer. I'm not interested in slayer at this point of time. In fact, please specifically refrain from slayer under pain of death. I'm looking to make some steady cash, which doesn't vary too much. I'm not interested in killing dragons. I had to pay a whole 150k for 300 tuna, games necklaces and terrorbird pouches. Come on. Preferably something that needs no start-up cash. I've been told picking fungus is not a good way. I have 51m in case I need startup cash, but I don't want to spend it.

More prayers, untradeable potions that kick [wagon] and a boss which hits your max hp - 1.

Please don't state slayer as a way of making steady money...you need to do it over a long period of time and get very lucky. Just do green dragons.

ZS Absolutely destroys the kbd. I've heard of a single guy (maxed) crashing 5 maxed rangers with full void and ruby e bolts, with a zs. No idea how many kills/trip, but you'll mop up. Feel free to either use unicorn for healing so you can pick up drops, or lava titan with food for banking.

DFS is only useful if you are maxing str or need the extra defence. Rune defender is better on all but dragon tasks, and on them you can pray. Karils has like 40 mage defence over black dhide. Excellent reason to get it. Bonecrusher/gem bag is only if you really enjoy dungeoneering, expect like 100k prayer exp getting to 99 slayer. Cannon only if you piety/combat familiar each task, too.

Unfounded claim, but when planting my papayas I only supercomposted one...it always consistently produces more fruit earlier.

What I said from your other thread...

It decreases the chance of a crop dying per growth cycle, increases the minimum harvest, and increases the general yield. No reason to not use supercompost on any herbs/flowers, really.

Dammit, morning, way to steal my thunder. Use morning's setup if you intend to piety all tasks. Basically switch the torso and d legs outta my setup for a prosyl plate and v skirt.

Claws are infinitly better for specs anywhere then sgs, with the exception of dks. Still, if you have super prayers... Claws is better then sgs unless you need a Sara item and can't get any other possible one. Claws > Ags > Bgs > Sgs >=< Dds
