Melée limits your options to bandos, zamorak, 6 man+ Sara out of the gwd bosses. There is an ongoing debate about whether slayer is worth it. If you want an informed, objective opinion, then realize that slayer is not the greatest cash, exp per hour, or charms. However, if you like slayer (ie want to train it eventually) and want all those things, give it a go. Mage does help your Mage defence a heck of a lot. Get around 75-80 - you're not interested in armadyl so it's just for the minions. I would suggest strongly investing in prayer now. 70 prayer will speed your training up heaps, and it is a requirement for bossing melée. If you wish to solo, you'll need 90+ melees. No way around it.

Farming is just too epic to pass up. I made 20m going from 65 to 70 in a week or two, no longer then half an hour a day. Unless you can make better cash, do it. Kingdom is not as good, but it's a million a week. Like I recommended for piety, farming and kingdom are STRONGLY reccomended. This is from one poor nubcake to another. 70 prayer is a far better investment then guthans. 70 prayer is also a minimum for melée bossing, 44 being the absolute minimum for range bossing (70 still strongly reccomended, though). Mage/range are special cases depending on what sort of bosses you wish to kill. Do you wish to melée, range, or Mage?

You and your friend could get a few zammy kills/trip if you both got about 75 Mage, 85 attack/defence, 80 str and 70 prayer (52 summoning is basically a requirement for bossing). Use a godsword, and tank one kill each. Bandos would be better, bu good luck getting a world, lol.

Side note: I have bigger problems. Why waste money getting all the way to 70, though? Also, gaining cash per exp is better then losing...160k or not, that's still time or cash unneccecarily wasted n

Piety opens doors, man. Bossing, epic fast slayer tasks, you name it. If you're extremly poor, piety is one thing I'd say it's safe, and even reccomended to get, even if you have to scrape the barrel for it. Also rocks for training, as you said. Piety ranks with such stuff as 52/68 summoning, 75 attack, barrows and a whip for importance.

You will, but you'll lose stupid amounts of either money or time. If you value time, either stew or do trees to 67 then temp boost. If you value cash, plant herbs. Doing trees is unneccecarily stupid unless you're powerfarming to a high level and already have heaps of cash, or if you need another few k exp to a crucial level/are planting ones to pick or chop down.

Epic bumpage of epic proportions.

It's not worth even doing trees. Someone calced the max farming exp/hour once, assuming maximum yield, no deaths, ect. It was only about 100k/hour. You're not going to get it fast, Just do it the profitable way and temp boost. Stew if you're that impatient.

Best would be get 67 and use a garden pie. Just do herbs while working on other things. I made over 20m going from 64 to 70 farming just from herbs/papayas (picking, not replanting). If you're in a hurry, chain farm every single patch in the game while makng cash.

Reasonable profit...hm.. You could try ranging the kbd, or meleeing without prayer pots using a hit and run. It's technically a boss. You could also try a 10 man + dks or gwd, though it still wouldn't be for profit.. You're in the same boat as me. Just train, man. Edit: you ninja'd me, dammit. Train on greens if you want cash, armoured zombies or something similar for exp. As a minimum, 85 melees/70 pray/52 summoning will get you about a single bandos solo a trip with 30m budget (bgs + torags), or into a 6 man bandos team. Don't get guthans, whip and rune is fine for you at your cash/levels. Use controlled if possible, if not get a d scim as well and train str with that.

Ok, so I'll melée later for slayer exp. Getting back on topic, what should I do?

A unicorn would be beneficial, but unless you have the charms for it in your bank now, just use a tort + fruit bat.

So range slayer tasks? :S I meant that slayer's no good for my needs.

So we've worked out that slayer's no good ATM...:L What should I be doing now? I do farm herbs, manage kingdom, fletch broads, ect. Also, should I sell my herbs now? (see first post for bank pick, got about 200 more herbs since then.

Holy cow guys :0 I have a soul wars cape but not a fire cape. Don't want a fire cape ATM. I'm not overly concerned about efficiancy. About a week's worth (168 hours) doesn't worry me tbh. (yes, 1 week's playing time). I will be training slayer, but I want to get one of my goals first. I'm asking because i have a feeling I'm losing more time then that. I do want slayer exp, but it's not my immediate priority. Mage, range, herby, prayer and summoning exp, plus enough cash to go arma gwd is my priority. I plan on training melée with slayer, I'm not looking at training melée at the moment. Hope this helps.

I would look at going to 3/4 man arma, if I were you. IMO, at least, prayer is a waste to get up unless you're aiming for something specific (leech def, ss, turm). You seem set on getting 90 defence- if I were you, I'd go arma first.

Ok, well considering I only have 33m of useable cash, would that be enough for slayer gear? Also, I've heard in other topics before that slayer is neither a good source of exp/charms, and I average a loss. Would I have to go about it really cheaply? No pots/piety/anything?

Blue dragons arn't a good option, then? EDIT: Also, should i sell my herbs and stuff now as they're crashing, or hold onto them?

Do you have at least 50 slayer? If so, i would go with something like the tip it page already says. Really, that is honestly the best setup until you're like 130+ combat. Seriously. It's stupid, but QFT.

I really wish there was a bump function... It sounds like i'm gonna be bleeding myself dry for cash. How else can i make decent money while fitting in my farm runs?

I"m kinda meh about aviansies cause it'd take a while getting to and from gwd, especially with the odd times i'm on. Ranging Blue drags in Gu'tanoth (via tanking) was an option i brought up earlier, how does that sound? I need to find a more consistant money making way that doesn't require connection competition for the moment (IE: green dragons) hence why i've been picking fungus. EDIT: Also, picking fungus at the moment is better then doing nothing...I need a way to make money, and fast D:

I'm still kinda Meh on the slayer front. I've been very consistant with farming my herbs, as you can tell by my bank pic ;) So the order you propose is something along the lines of Summon -> Mage -> Herb -> Prayer -> Range -> Herb -> Prayer? Edit: What do you propose I do for money then? I can constantly get about 400k/hour picking fungus?

Ok guys, this is the last thread for now :3 it's been pretty epic, and it should get a whole lot epicer. I don't care if that's not a word. As you could gather from my other threads, my long term goals are(In no particular order): -90 range/mage -92 prayer -95 herby -88/96 summoning -Be able to armadyl for cash That's what i'd like to get done. So, really, i'm a little stuck on the path. Picking fungus gets boring after a little while, y'know :P Perhaps a little advice from what to do from here-on in? I'm just money making because idk what else to do for the meantime. Also...i'd prefer to stay away from melee if at all possible during the meantime. Just a note. Thanks all.

All that i've read makes me not want to do it anymore, tbh...unless it's the most efficiant way.
