It's more bittersweet. It's all kinds of sad, but I think it's really an incredible anime that warms your heart even as it breaks it, and anyways I don't usually cry so it's kinda nice to be able to. Except when Kamina died. Then I cried manly tears. But that's Gurren Lagann.
