Not to encourage any video game comparisons... But in BF:BC2 you can't keep a shotgun in a secondary weapon slot. Wut? It's probably less than common to find a shotgun or any sort of ammo, you shouldn't try to rely on firearms either way.

Going by the fact that skeet shooting is a thing they must have less spread than in most videogames, it still stands however that you'll be more accurate with a handgun, smg or rifle. Fun fact: Modern slug-firing shotguns have the power and precision of a rifle at over 150 yards. In the hands of the average person, you've got something like a 50/50 chance to hit someone with a pistol at 50 yards. Your beloved P90s have a 50/50 range of 220 yards. Shotguns really aren't as bad as you think, from a complete lack of experience and evidently little internet browsing on the subject.

Unarmed, in terms of anything that can hit you from farther away than you can hit the wielder. Unarmored, in terms of the stone/bullet/ball-bearing not bouncing off of what it hits. I should've said unintelligent as well, I suppose, because really any human going after you would be better prepared and capable of strategizing. Basically, it's useless except for the Zombie Apocalypse and possibly small game hunting. For longer range, more power, and something that could actually give you a chance against an intelligent foe, you'd want a firearm or at least a crossbow (unless you're really good with a bow).
  4. Whoops. Meant to remove that autoplay after a few seconds, but I had to go puke and forgot.

Shotguns are kewl. You gotta love the shotgun. Particular reason why they aren't good in a Romero Zombie Scenario? Size of ammo, rate of fire, high noise, cliche...? @Res: I love you so much right now. Slingshots are the ultimate weapon against unarmed and unarmored foes, provided you have room to backpedal while firing.

  7. Indeed, but it's not supposed to BE here. I've only had it happen with Deviantart, Tip.it, and a cheat-code site I used to visit long ago. Oh, and one time when I was doing a Google Images search for a picture of Maka from Soul Eater. Of course, out of all the identical versions of that one image, the first I clicked had to bounce the URL to a trojan downloader.
  8. That isn't how a computer virus works. It's entirely possible for a website to be hacked and made to install harmful files... I never click on any adds, period, and I know they were viruses rather than simple false alarms because I suddenly had malevolent files on my computer and was getting popups where no popups had a right to be. Like when I DIDN'T HAVE THE DAMNED WEB BROWSER OPEN. Along with a few other things. I know Deviantart was the cause of one because a fake antivirus program suddenly registered and my computer began to crash as soon as a DA page loaded, when I hadn't been to any sites beyond my normal routine save for Deviantart in the last few days. I know Tip.it was the cause of the second because I would run antivirus in safe mode, find and delete JS/Popup (using antivirus programs recommended specifically for it, among others), browse the internet without popups (including Javascript-running sites), open Tip.it and suddenly start getting popups again and finding JS/Popup in my antivirus scans.
  9. 2 Million people are killed yearly due to driving related accident. The lesson? Don't drive. (Not drinking alcohol is just common sense...regardless of if you are driving or not) Of course it is possible to get a virus from Deviantart...Anything that allows uploading files can, potentially, harbour a virus. (Though I would say it was exceptionally unlikely as it would likely require someone making a picture(or other file), then adding some way for commonly used art programs to access a secret stash of data hidden within the file, then add this secret stash of data(which contains a virus)...) More than this a story or picture may advocate something which, on the surface, looks innocent, but is actually harmful to your computer...Just because you are manually inputting the data doesn't make it any less of a virus, or any less of a threat. It is possible for literally ANY site to give you a virus. What makes a 'trusted' site special is that they can usually find and remove the virus before it affects more than a few people. I just wasn't lucky. I've gotten a virus from tip.it as well, I messaged Tripsis... And I take the fact that I A) haven't gotten the virus again which would renew every time I visited the site and B) never received word back from the Admins after a message asking clarification as meaning that there indeed was a virus that managed to sneak onto the site, it was removed, and the Admins didn't want to worry anyone by saying that.
  10. [hide]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYHtcH5lRDw&autoplay=1[/hide] WHY AM I NOT MEMBERS+
  11. Because they think it's cool? Honestly, I couldn't care less, but my Dad's a tech guy. I'm paranoid about viruses, just my upbringing. Plus it would be kinda awkward having to explain why I have something as demented as Penguindrum on my machine.
  12. What's Members+ anyways?
  13. A single imprudent torrent can land you a massive infection, a good stream has no 'max limit,' I'll admit quality can vary, and generally I won't want to watch it more than once every few months. Especially not enough to waste time in school with a stupid movie...
  14. Damnit Psycho. You're not Wits, only Wits can be Wits.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUQ1Y8nPz0Q&feature=related Youtube won't give you a virus. I watch anime on youtube if it's available and not 240p. If necessary I use streaming, like for Puella Magi or Mawaru Penguindrum.
  16. STOP LINKING US TO WEIRD CRAP PSYCHO Only Wits is allowed to do that
  17. So, what's the story with this forum anyways?
  18. Yup. Lawful Neutral folks are generally bastards.
  19. Eh. I would choose the Brotherhood as the new rulers if it would let me and they didn't just use energy weapons.
  20. NCR all the way. They have the coolest top-tier armor. Favourite outfit is Chinese Stealth Armor + 1st Recon Beret + Rebreather though. With a nice Combat Knife, or AM Rifle perhaps.

  23. SUCH A FURRY, GAWSH
  24. I generally dislike the taste of fowl, for one, and it feels like eating bird would be a personal sin or something. I dunno how to explain it, I just feel that it's something I shouldn't do, maybe I like birds too much from having a crazy bird lady parent.
  25. I found out recently that the pepperoni pizza rolls have chicken in them. I don't eat bird. SO DISAPPOINTED
