Stardate: 150 PL All is well for the mission. Expenses and budgets are planned, the colony and military have promising leaders, and I've managed to avoid conviction for a crime I didn't commit. Made first contact with an alien species known as the Kalinka - interesting creatures, while they were on a mission to destroy the colony, I didn't meet any aggression from them. I made some stupid mistakes, and some which weren't mistakes, ending in a string of... *ahem* incapacitations. But all for a good cause, all for a good cause. Well, actually, probably not. I should get my head examined, perhaps some of her work is starting to fail...

Right, my current plans call for something in the vicinity of 1700kT or so. They also require 6 research points and some leniency on my superior's part in terms of illegal goods. And I'll also need 500 metres of Gallicite wire and twice as much made of Monotanium, as well as some sort of small anti-personell weapon.
