The Back Room
Before I go, I was singing this for the hour leading up to my heartbreak; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XdqMGBZjGM

The Back Room
Hah, everyone thinks I'm older than I am, whether it be through the web or in person. I'm tall, and more polite than most people my age to those I meet, and my sentence structure often fools people into thinking they're talking to an older individual over the internet. Probably learned it 'cause of my dad working with tech support and such. Whether it's dealing with a client or with Microsoft, he tends to get along with acquaintances.

Anyways, g'night folks. A combination of anxiety and getting perfect step combos on three songs at double speed is giving me cramps, and it's late. See you tomorrow.

The Back Room
We tend to have specialized issues here. The entire rest of the staff is practically clueless dealing with Tavern problems, because it's a generally tight-knit community and most conflict revolves around games instead of more tangible grievances. We're generally forgive-and-forget with each other, so on occasion any action being taken will create problems instead of solving them. Like it did with Hex, despite his issues and our annoyance at him, banning seemed wrong somehow.

The Back Room
Much like romance, I have very little experience with grief. And I don't plan on taking lessons from my friends.

*Sigh* Talking helps, thanks guys. DDR too. Also, before today I didn't know that kneecaps could either shiver independently or sweat.

Res. That sort of crap isn't helping. I don't know what's wrong that you've taken such a pragmatic view, but I know what my problems are... Yes, I've been distracted, because I've been brooding over my place here. I see the world, I see that kind of attitude, and I think it's not worth dealing with. I see my life, I see that I love even those who don't deserve it, and I think that if someone, anyone would return those feelings that my existence would be worthwhile. I won't settle for a crushed spirit and decades of monotony, I'd sooner walk into the wild and leave my fate to nature.

The Back Room
I know. The whole thing is a weight off of me for asking, though it was a comforting weight with no replacement. Adopt, adapt, and modify as my folks say.

The Back Room
Precisely. I couldn't count how many girlfriends Felix has had, but every one of them is still quite close to him without being romantically associated in the least. Especially Naomi, who he met by almost tossing out a window during a theatre performance.

<_< It's people with that attitude, Resistance, who ruin the world. Life has no purpose without love and happiness, both in a philosophical and evolutionary sense. The fact is, my grades suck, I have depression issues, probably the best thing that could happen to me in academic terms would be finding someone I could tell my problems and work together with towards self improvement.

I'm already a poet, part of me has loved her for the four years we've known each other, and I know I still have a chance at loving someone. Your points are irrelevant Mather. :P It's just difficult, this has been my first real experience with relationships... I've had a crush on people before, but she's the only one who I kept feeling that way about even when I lapse into pessimism or become infatuated with some other individual. Not to mention she's been the only one to hug me, though two other friends who are no longer here in my town have asked... I really kind of wish I'd hugged them, not because of any attraction but because I miss them.

Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Ororidan takes a rest, then switches back to armour. He high-fives the dwarf skeleton and then runs across the surface of the lava swinging a backpack and screaming "FOR HEADSHOOTS!"

The Back Room
15, as of the 1st. I don't think it's a salvageable relationship sort of thing. As a friend, maybe. Never again as a romance, I'll just try to forget about it as promised. More than anything I care about those I love, even those who I could barely consider friends. Most people who've shown me even the slightest kindness, if it was a choice between my life and theirs, I'd choose them.

Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Ororidan sets it on the shore, climbs out, and sets in the Morshoch chip. He tests it's use as a Dwarven Stuff Flinger by putting the flat under Mather's feet and swinging as hard as he can towards the opposite shore.
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Ororidan switches in the Armour/Defensive chips and does a swan dive into the lava river (I reeeeally hope this thing drains heat energy as well).

The Back Room
I just had strong feelings for her, and I thought she felt the same way. She kept tapping my feet under my desk, probably by accident, she doesn't worry about contact like most people do evidently. She looked up from her work and gave me a big smile in the middle of the same class, and kept glancing up at me. I asked her afterwords to talk to me after school (damn me for choosing such a cold day <_<), and when she came she was talking to two of her friends who I had talked to about my feelings. One of them walked with her up to me, gave a token 'I'll leave you two alone now' sort of speech and a thumbs-up grin, and walked away. We both kinda looked at our feet, I told her my feelings and she said she had known, and... I guess maybe I said something wrong. I said that I really liked her, that she had been one of the few people I would consider my friend, and after a sort of pause I asked if we should just forget about the whole thing. I think she said yes, then that she had to go, and she walked away. I then took a very long, cold, circuitous route back home. Half frozen when I got back I think, but I wasn't really feeling much of anything.

Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Ororidan follows Mather into the Lava door.

The Back Room
Get it over with while I don't have much chance of response, Mather. I'm hoping that I'll be able to maintain my current mindset, minus the lack of enjoyment.

Grace, War, and Shenanigans
I keep both chips, unless Hakon cares to argue his case.
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
I snatch the shiny, examine it, and then decide whether to give it to Hakon.
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Ororidan runs at the statue unarmed, jumps and summons Morshoch again in midair, swinging it towards the statue's head.
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Ororidan sits up and rests his head on his hand. He tries throwing Morshoch. (Does Chaos even DO anything?)
-
The Back Room
Meh. All I can say much is meh.
-
Grace, War, and Shenanigans
Ororidan walks up to the statue and slices upwards at its crotch.

The Back Room
So, was rejected. Currently completely emotionally numb. Care to start Space again so there's something interesting to do with the time I have to waste Archi?
