No :(. I had started it in geosystems last year (because [bLEEP] GEOSYSTEMS, good riddance) but kept getting it taken away/I kept rereading the first few chapters. If I remember right there's only a couple books out of a huge planned series, so I may wait. I've been trying to read WoT but similar problem of constantly rereading the first chapters. JUST READ IT JUST READ IT (READ IT!) (No but really, don't wait. Each book (I think only one is out thus far) is supposed to have a different protagonist IIRC. Most of the important stuff is memorable enough that you'll probably retain it between books, and that which isn't is purposefully forgettable so it comes back and hits you like a brick upside the head when a twist comes around.)

Try reading some Manhwa. A Fairytale for the Demon Lord is a good one IIRC. I keep meaning to read Tower of God too, but I always get distracted a few pages in.

You might also want to watch the Toaru series. I think it could appeal to you. That aside, Puella Magi Madoka Magica is mandatory. Watch it first. If you can find a fansubbed DVD/Blu-ray version somewhere online (the only officially localized DVD is the terrible English dub), even better. On the off chance you haven't heard about it before now, watch at least until episode 3 before you decide if you like it or not. Also try to avoid viewing spoilers.
