I look for any useful or unusual animal or plant life, particularly sentient beings.

Swim swim swim... If any fish come near, I grab and absorb them.

Kudar swims towards land, quickly burning energy from the food to heat him and speed his swimming.

I attempt to thicken my skin (except the pouch) to provide better insulation.

I seal the pouch securely, and begin swimming towards the mainland.

Umm, I try holding the bag against my body and then form a patch of skin over it, making sure the patch is sealed completely bu can be opened and resealed without significant permanent damage.

I open a small piece of skin, form a pocket, put the bag with clothes inside, and graft the skin back over it.

I curl up in a corner, exposing only my bone-plated back.

I walk back into the cave, and try to absorb the scraps directly to digest them faster.

I look around for any plant or animal life that might be edible.

I web my feet and hands, as well as forming air pockets inside my torso to assist swimming and jump into the water.

I walk around on the island, looking for anything of interest. I look to see if there are any plants I recognize or animals.

Kudar walks out of the cave.

I leave the cave, and look around outside. I try compacting/shedding bone, skin, and muscle mass to reduce my size but retain the shape. I attempt to shrink my organs to fit with the body.

Edit in ICU? Also, can Kemios start near me?

Kudar stands up, and begins looking through the objects for anything worth carrying on his person.

Ummm, Ross? Whaddabout me? :thumbsup: Actually, if I don't like my char, with ICU's permission I'll make a new one. I want to see how well Daeka can fit into this world.

Ack, darnit. Fine. I understand how it's a little less than plausible ICU. I'll probably be able to repair myself without much difficulty, and other Daeka, but I'll forget about healing humans or anything else.

Artificial organs? I could alter it so the body didn't reject it, and it worked outside the body's normal system? I could graft a small piece of a person's skin onto my own, manipulate the coding so it forms a specific body part, and then siphon off nutrients to it while secluding it from my body's system?

Eheh, actually, healing through manipulation of organic matter would be possible by incorporating it into my body, repairing it and then ejecting it. Of course, doing that with an undead might have unexpected side effects for both individuals. I would have to learn to make a Daeka sub-form that would attach to damaged, animate, foreign materials and apply it to the wound. FIrst I would have to work on forming substitute organs, not to mention a nervous system.
