Tales of Rimerose
It's the end of the year, I had a lot of stuff overdue I had forgotten about. I really do want to stay with this game, and am desperate to relieve the boredom of Tavern inactivity. Anyone want to play?

Dungeoneering
I remove all of my armour and form it into orbiting spheres, except for a chestplate securing my wings and life crystal that I suspend away from my body with allomancy and form a pocket of circulating cool air between it and my body.

Dungeoneering
Um... anyone gonna post?

Dungeoneering
I collect the parts of my my armour using their allomancy tag, and reform it. I make a sheet of metal over my wound and cool the metal, followed by a healing attempt.

Adventures in Avernum
About your suggestion I play this... Well, Maptool simply doesn't work. And when I say it doesn't work, it usually never will. My dad is the network administrator for our school district and one next to us, probably one of the best tech support people in the town.

The Back Room
This is all horendously boring. I'll restart ToR tomorrow if I get the chance. Sorry it hasn't been up, I've had to do a crudload of catch-up.

The Back Room
SImilar to my beliefs. I think that some supreme sentient force got bored, and maybe decided it wanted company. Or perhaps the world was created to create perfection, and further itself. God created humans for humans to become God. The evolutionary paths were set, and God sat back from the events taking place to watch. Heaven for the living is made by the efforts of humans. Holy crap, SOMETHING IN THE BIBLE MAKES SENSE TO ME! It's that whole apocalypse thing, 1000 years of peace and the judgement. And no one really dies, they are born into Heaven. Ack, Zealots are BAD! Stop thinking, brain, NOW! I think that's called Scientology. Though I would have to ask Retech. And that's called American Christianity.

Mather, surely something in Stargate can explain that question for you? It has an answer to everything else. /well-intentioned insult

The End of the Beginning
(Small question, is it night or day?) Silently drifting between the trees, a ravenlike bird follows the running assassin. Its eyes gleam with a fiery attentiveness as it leaps from a tree and begins flying high over Nighleena's head.

Hegemony Argument Thread
*orders dropping of 10-Megakeg bomb in Relekka, intended to cause a massive chain reaction ending in beer flooding the world with alchoholic particles* Great, now all children will be born with low levels of Strontiu- I mean, with a high base blood-alcohol level.

The End of the Beginning
Cerentis is listening intently to Lelantos. "Chanting, you say? Dear Dyentes, you must be..." Cerentis trails off, clutching his head in his hands. "No, no... I cannot tell you... Dear Dyentes, our greatest mistake..." Cerentis is suddenly cut off by Nighleena's scream. He whirls and thrusts his hands outwards towards the spinning Kusari-gama. The white patterns on his coat blast out of their positions and flow in a wave down Cerentis' arms, forming a gleaming white cylinder between him and the spinning weapon. As the power of the Blade of Roses blasts through the defence, Cerentis' skin and clothes burst away from his body and form into more white tendrils which lace together and thicken the defence, leaving Cerentis as nothing but a crackling, glowing entity barely defined as an androgynous humanoid. The Kusaris-gama's scythe blade catches at the very end of the defensive weave, but the spiked ball spins forward towards the chest of the sparking entity. The creature raises it's hand, lightning fast, catching the ball in front of its head. The rose pattern is sucked to the weighted end of the Kusari-gama, then into the creature itself. The weapon falls to the floor, in its original form, and the white wards disappear entirely. The being of energy that was once Cerentis now glows a crimson red and is violently shedding waves of energy. It raises its hand towards Nighleena and lets loose a crackling bolt of red power. Suddenly, Galleus is standing in front of the endangered assassin. The energy hits him in the chest, producing a loud crack. The chest of his robes begin to dull in their brilliance as a dark golden liquid stains the cloth. Galleus grimaces and jumps forward, grabbing the arm of his friend, and they both disappear in a flash of light. A blood red rose slowly drifts to the floor.

The End of the Beginning
(Iey, either interpret it as another Kusari-gama wrapped around the chain of your own from the throw, or as fusing with yours. Either works, your call.) "Good to meet you, Lelantos." Cerentis says, offering his hand for a handshake. "I am Cerentis Abeolux, Flickering Light and third rank Mage-Bard of the Deylani. Tutor of the royal family, specifically an individual named Find, who is currently lost somewhere in the timeline of this world few millenia onwards. I am the head Keeper of this world and those akin to it. The man you just tried to tackle was a certain Galleus, who is something of a doorman to my kin and I. He is an immortal, and controls passage through the portals connecting worlds. Including," Cerentis states, raising a finger, "the passage between life and death. In some worlds, he is known as the Grim Reaper." Cerentis smiles, and with his other hand produces a steaming cup. "Tea?"

Hegemony Argument Thread
I believe that there is an afterlife worth going to that discriminates between the good and the evil. I believe there is some massive, at least semi-sentient force that created the universe. I believe in evolution, and that it may have been guided by a force that wished for life able to contemplate said force and its ideals. I was born into a Christian family, though my mother is the only democrat and non-radical on her side of the family, so by default I have some tendencies towards a Christian god. But most certainly not the Christian church.

The End of the Beginning
Deftly sidestepping the lunging man, Cerentis looks at him. "Keepers? You've heard of us, then? Strange, especially for Galleus. This is the first time he's shown himself to your kind in quite some time." (We could play this as a mutual misunderstanding, or a combining of storylines Ross. Either way, interesting link! And the term "Keepers" was actually something I had come up with beforehand.)

The End of the Beginning
Cerentis and Galleus both pause, turn to each other, and burst out laughing at Nighleena's tense and ready stance. "You... *gasp* you thought Galleus was going to fight you? Haha, even you'd have a hell of a time with that!" "Hah, I suppose my intent might be misinterpreted. After all, scythe blades held against one's neck is not a traditional greeting in this world." Galleus pauses, looking thoughtful. "Though, I do believe that's a prevalent custom in a province of Xandi, isn't it Cerentis? And then there's the Dusavi flesh-parting. Not that such a thing would be recommendable among humans." "Galleus, you really must stop sneaking up on the mortals. Hell, you even scared Moth with that foolery!" Galleus grins, and for the first time a wisp of hair nearly as white as the hood that obscured it is visible beyond the shadows obscuring his face. "Yes, I remember that one quite well. The name 'Moth' seemed so much more appropriate after that. But, we are getting distracted." Galleus turns towards Nighleena once more, and tosses the scythe gently towards her. Despite travelling slowly through the air, it seems to be spinning as though tossed end-over-end by a trebuchet as it reaches Nighleena and wraps itself around her weapon, having retained the scythe blade and vine patterns, though now with the proportions of a hand scythe and connected to a weighted chain. Galleus' glow begins to fade, as does he, and as he drifts out of vision his voice is accompanied by a faint tolling of bells. "Good luck to you Nighleena, Regretful Assassin, may the Blade of Roses serve you well." (Hehe, and the score goes higher!)

The End of the Beginning
The man's body suddenly goes rigid in mid-sip. "I have the strangest feeling... that someone, somewhere is talking about us... eh, probably just those lunatics over in 162. They know too much for their own good." "I wholeheartedly agree." The voice came abrubtly after several seconds of silence, but the man in the coat didn't so much as turn around to face the robed man, gleaming white to a degree unexplainable simply by the radiant hue of his garments. "Hello, Galleus. Come to meddle in my affairs again?" "Indeed," Galleus glances up, looking Nighleena in the eyes. A scythe carved with a pattern of flowing vines appears in his hand. "Though these are no longer your affairs alone, Cerentis." (This is directed towards Iey)

(Sorry for the off-topic) Awwww, Techy! I just found out who it is you have a crush on. I take back what I said about the Bill Clinton thing. You two would make SUCH a cute couple! The only problem might be your "Evil Dictator" tendencies and her general kind and happy-go-lucky nature. I can't really see you with someone who says "golly," personally. (Now, on topic) Is there still an opportunity to join this? I might need a teensy overview.

The End of the Beginning
(What? Are you referring to the fact that only Grim and I know my name, or that only I know your name?) "So, Nighleena, I assume you met Galleus? He never can keep his mitts out of my business in the worlds. Let me guess, you tried to fight him?" (Sorry for the short post, dinner!)
