  1. Doing spirit mage tasks is exp waste. Block or skip them.

    This.

Thanks for your very useful post which added a lot to the discussion

No discussion. They should not be done because they are slow, have crappy drops and are exp waste.

  2. Just got 99 dung so time to start thinking about a third bind.

    My relevant stats;

    99 attack

    99 str

    93 def

    94 mage

    95 range

    99 hp

    66 rc

I key, but I don't think I do enough for a plate and I would prefer a dps bind. Any suggestions? 99 mage is a medium term goal I'm working on slowly, as is 70 rc.

  3. Just a thought, it might even be overkill but if one or two people have ragers - would it make more sense for the rest of the group to have slingers.

I've read in this thread (or maybe a different DGS thread) that blood ragers and death slingers have equal dps, and since you can only lower defense so much - would it be better to grab some death slingers and try to proc some of that poison damage?

-I understand that familiars may not always be made before hand but if you just happened to come across all the secondaries needed.

Thanks a lot for the contributions!

I seem to be following up your posts a lot today, lol. Don't make slingers solely for the purpose of doing Thundy. He's a fast boss as it is, and I'm fairly sure your time is better spent attacking him for 20 attack turns than making a slinger. (I don't have math to prove this, but from personal experience, this is my observation.)

Just would like to point out that in gds slingers have higher overall dps as they don't need to move to switch targets.

by that logic, stormbringers would be the best DPS since they don't need to do that either, and have the best accuracy against zombies and skeletons.

Well should stormbringers ever be made then? Like very early in a dung if the ingredients are readily available.

  5. The guidelines say that there are no dungeoneering level requirements, but you guys seem to frown upon people newer at dungeoneering. So how good do you have to be to use this clan?

However, being below level 70 will severely limit both the number of keyers who will take you and the number of floors you can do with other players.

You aren't judged on how amazing you are when you join, you are judged on how willing you are to learn and take criticism to become a more effective dungeoneer.

Exactly. When I joined I could hardly follow the floors and what was going on. Now I'm eagre to learn keying and almost 100 dungoneering.

    It's all about attitude.

  6. The keyer spreadsheet should have an space where it is noted if the floor was a skype floor or not. This way you could easily collect data on how much skype speeds up floors.

More people should be encouraged to do skype floors and this would be a pretty effortless way of giving people encouraging statistics.

The keyer spreadsheet does have a column for skype.

Derp, haven't checked it in a it so I was going off of memory.

  7. Tome of Frost is really inefficient to get though.

If the OP was worried about effeiciency, why would they be at rock lobsters in the first place?

Even if we're not looking at my stats - what else is a good way to train my summoning?

I can't do much in CT cause I don't even have a summoning familiar...

Without turmoil/ss, I can't really do wfs in CT either.

Cannoning black demon is bad due to the bots.

I'm not aware of any other way to get charm/summoning exp.

    Cannoning Wallasalki.

Cannoning black demons is better. Save the effigies and open them using the opening exp and the lamps on summoning.

OP would do it for the same reason I might do it even though I'm 96 summoning. They value the magic exp.

  8. Aim for 79 Summ as your next goal then to 88 then 96 then 99 (if that is you desired lvl)

It's actually more efficient and will take less charms if you save up those 15k stacks of charms and get 96 summoning in one go.
