Watching the animated hands in horror, I then turn my attention to the incanter of the necromantic spell. Sweeping over him with my eyes I attempt to determine if he is a threat or not.

Checking my surroundings for any immediate movement other than the cocoon, I steadily make my way over towards the movement.

My character keeps to herself most of the time. No worries there. And isn't it hard to get ticked at a quiet, calm soul who heals you? lol

Ah, earth, I will most likely accompany you as i rely on being in a party to reach max current potential. Depending on what spells I start with I may be able to do more than heal too.

Edited my character a bit to help Tech see my specialisation and advantages/disadvantages. Name: Maj'la'Tairn Age: 97 Race: Dark Elf Racial: Improved hearing and sight (partial nightsight as well), nimble. Weaknesses: Low stamina, Fatigues easily in extreme physical activity. Overwhelmed easily when fighting multiple foes alone. Teachings: White and Black magicks Weapon: Apprentice's Stave Appearance: 5'4", long silver hair, dark but pale blue tinted skin. As a child of the Lunar Tribe her eyes glisten a bright starling silver. First look it seems she is wearing a basic dress, given a closer look, the insignia of the Lunar Tribe is skillfully threaded throughout the dark silk. Her goal is to prove herself as a Lunar Child and earn the right to carry the Lifespark Stave made from the bark of the Silvertree. Then she may set out to hold a place in the world. If any of that is not allowed for any reason please inform me.

I was thinking along the lines of Black and White magick. Black-ability to inflict curses, restraints and altered elemental magicks upon foes. Whit-ability to heal, form protective wards and barriers and temporarily bless allies for a specific number of turns. Also both forms having the ability to imbue weaponry/armor permanently. It is also obvious which aspects of each should be considered high level only. Imbueing is also risky. Needs specific materials for each imbuement. Also there is risk involved, bare minimum mats=high failure rate. more mats ups chances of success but does NOT increase the imbuement effect. Finally if the imbuement does fail there is a small chance the item may be destroyed completely.

As I've taken a break from WoW since before ICC 2nd wing came out, I'm rather interested to get back into it again to see the rest of ICC. @Brad, with the weekly raid quest (5 frost emblem reward) you'll get to see plenty of other raids besides ICC, personally Ulduar was the best raid in LK expansion. Hope you get to experience it ^-^

So, what you are saying is, if I happened to "create" a form of magick or two that was reasonable (start off weak but nothing that makes other magicks obsolete when higher lvl) could be petitioned to the mod?

Before I make any decision it would be useful what spells I currently have available. As I specialise in Light I assume I need to go through learning Holy first? Also I plan on studying a few other magicks for secondary use (I'll be more versatile in my specialisation but also able to fight to a less effective degree than other fighters. Being only a healer can get dull if your party manages to slaughter its foes easily, so the secondary training can keep me with the flow. Though I guess it doesn't have to be secondary to the point of extreme penalty, because from what I read is that I can train in anything.)

Oh you can count on it once I am able. I used to play the paper-pencil version. Of course our DM altered a few rules to fit the groups play style, and I am very out dated on the current ruleset .

Nex, I would prefer if prearranged activities were not interrupted. Every game in the forum has its right to a time slot. I am a patient person and can wait for my first session. It is a shame my ps3 can't download said DnD program, but I'll be participating in that when I do get a computer. I'll probably make a drow ranger for DnD lol.

Personally I like the Ghost in the Shell anime. I haven't checked to see if a manga exists as well, but I'm sure one does. Not sure if GITS is popular among most these days either.

Does that mean my character can carry a pouch of hygiene items to keep clean? hygiene=method of resting/meditation in some cases as well as a higher moral, or does the RP not run that deep? Edit: you'd be amazed what aspects of life I can turn into a helpful bonus lol

Well considering that you're in a midst of an epic battle, with thousands of casualties daily, shouldn't be that hard. :rolleyes: Yes, i plan on specialising in Light Magic. Even if the process is slow it will be useful later. I've RP'd where it took my character 4 months of day-to-day RPing to just finish learning basic survival skills. I'm sure this is fast

So by that you mean I could train in Healing, Light magicks as well as others?
