Dungeoneering
I'm confused as to how the adult is harder to control O_o Usually how you treat your newborn determines how it acts during child phase and so on and so forth. A bond of trust, care and dedication being formed during growth usually ensures a trustworthy companion.

The End of the Beginning
(1, I wasn't in the tavern, I was outside, lurking, so no publicity there 2. Nex didn't control me, saying I looked down only strengthened his entry, it only counts if he tries to actually control my character 3. Nex, that was a fine intro, there's room to work. Same for you Paul, if you have room for a character to grow, don't toss it aside 4. If you're going to use more than one character, speaking in first person is PROHIBITED) (I will also save my further posts for tomorrow )

The End of the Beginning
Shocked that anyone could sneak up on her, Nighleena whirls towards the robed figure. In a flash of a second she decides to whip out her dagger instead of whirling a Kusari-gama about. In the same fraction of time the dagger is pressed to his throat, Nighleena's eyes questioning him. "If you value your life you'll tell me why you have surprised me. You are lucky I am no amateur, otherwise your blood would be spillt already." The words came out through the facemask like a hiss promising a venomous bite.

Answering the Ivory Mage, "Well, Earth decimated it into a severely premature eruption" I slam my staff into the ground again and focus, with my now non dazed mind, on the Aura of Healing.

The End of the Beginning
Circling around, Nighleena carefully watches from a distance. She notices the unnecessary brutality of the patrol man and against her better judgement fires an arrow into the guard's shoulder. The paralysing ointment on the arrow takes effect almost instantly. Creeping in closer, Nighleena resumes stalking the two men. (thats a warning to the drunk and guard, RPing takes characters who are more solid than that. Please say right now if they are serious characters or are disposable)

Dungeoneering
In my dazed state, I slam the bottom of the staff into the ground and chant an area wide Aura of Healing, hoping that it both heals and dispels the smoke.

Gazing in horror at the inevitable eruption,I quickly form Flame Wards around each party member.

The End of the Beginning
As Earth is hurrying to meet up with Vixion an arrow strikes the ground in front of him with what appears to be a note: You have till daybreak.

Dungeoneering
Grasping Jen's staff, I use it as a climbing tool to make my way up to the others, chanting an accuracy enhancement charm I had read from my father's Tome of Black Magick. (Barriers/Blessing=White Charms/Power Spells=Black)

The End of the Beginning
"I do not know, but you are wanted dead the same as he is. Here, take this." With a flick of her wrist Nighleena whips a small white marbel from one of her pouches. Handing it to Earth, "With this, you may communicate with me when it is glowing." The marbel's shine dims and the color shifts to black. "Do not try to activate it yourself. It will blind you. I will contact you with mine. Find out from Vixion what he has done to anger the Overseer." Nighleena vanishes from Earth's sight.

I watch everyone's frantic movements and sit down for a minute to meditate, hoping to dig into the right path with my mind (aka trying predict how to proceed)

The End of the Beginning
Watching Vixion as he weaves through the crowd like a puppy with his tail caught between his legs (Nighleena's perspective not mine), Nighleena glides among the crowd in fleeting steps. Coming up behind him, she pressed a dagger to the small of his back, whispering, "Why does the Overseer want your head?" Nighleena then leaves through the back of the tavern the same as she had arrived.

I'll try to be around.

The End of the Beginning
through her lips. She watched the two, a sensation of doubt washing over her. It wasn't something Nighleena was used to, so the wave of shock was intense, she felt trapped, confused, and for a reason unknown, saddened. 'Why must they die?' she thought unwillingly. Trying to banish the thoughts from her mind they only arrived in more severe flashes, filling her head with alien emotions she had shoved aside so long ago. (sorry for the double post but my ps3 only allows so much per entry :/)

The End of the Beginning
Her hand caressed the smooth, maple door as if tasting it with a sweet savour. Up and then down, she gently gripped the doorhandle with her fingertips. Nighleena knew who was within this run down tavern; her next mark, and the survivor of her last hunt, whom she still needed to dispose of if there was to be any bounty. Head tilted to the night sky, Nighleena's eyes soaked in the calm, night sky. The stars danced and swirled in her mind, teasing the girl with promises of wonder outside of her reach. Eyes narrowing and attitude reset, she opened the door ever so gently and slipped into the tavern unnoticed, slithering into the shadows of the building's corners. The rank smell of ale filled her nostrils. Even through the facemask she wore, it bothered her. Nighleena spotted her marks sitting side by side in what seemed to be conversation. The lone assassin sat down and feverishly whipped out a small canteen of water. Pulling her mask down to her chin, a scar ran from the lower right of her chin and diagonally up

Tales of Rimerose
hrm, I don't recall choosing to kill anyone, I was going to hold the sickle end to their throats and threaten them. But meh, at least the attitude of my character was portrayed slightly to how I made it. Don't do that again though O_o btw Kusari-gama isn't a "heavy weapon. the two ends counter balance the other :P
-
Tales of Rimerose
Annoyed by the distractions, Nighleena rises to her feet. She starts towards the closest sound, Kusari-gama in hand. Rage fills the essence of her mind.
-
Tales of Rimerose
Name: Nighleena Weapon: Kusari-gama Description: 5'5" Slender, dressed in black leather. White scarf-like set of silk ribbons dancing around her neck and around her body. Pixie styled, light blue hair complimentary to her deep emerald eyes. Eyes darting around the room, checking for immediate threats, Nighleena swiftly settles down into a meditative trance. Focusing on the sounds around her, Nighleena starts to drift away into the corners of her mind.

Fallen Star Plans
Oh...no true RPers in the tavern then -_- /sigh
-
Fallen Star Plans
Hmm. The idea sounds interesting, but I think there should be a sort of free form RPing in this game as no others in the tavern contain it. Which, in turn, will make it a self running RPG, You could even play yourself, only needing to really interfere if someone tries to bend the rules.

Dungeoneering
Eh, well Earth, I'll at least try to keep the peace if Nex tries to kill you again :/

Dungeons & Dragons
Retech, you realise perma death usually only happens if: 1. You have no idea how to play 2. Are a complete [wagon] monkey towards others 3. Commit suicide. As you are neither 1 or 2, and won't try 3, your character probably won't die.
