I have to disagree on the endgame. Pre ToC they "tried" to keep it challenging. Ulduar was for sure...then I agree as well, because the way they're changing the game, might as well take 10 80's to a vanilla raid. Sadly the lvl 60 raid will probably be more difficult than both ICC and ToC combined. /sigh, "blizz, stop ruining the game. kthxbye"

The young girl, Akari, had finished her remaining tests a week ago, and to Kyla's satisfaction also passed her Trial of Acceptance ritual. Kyla smiled, knowing the spunky girl would make a great companion to the offspring of her own dragon, Heartflux. The small dragonling nestled in Kyla's lap yawned, a small puff of smoke rising from its throat. "You must be tired young one." She stated to the young dragon with her soothing voice, "Lets get you to sleep." Hours later, Kyla throws an enormous cloak over her, pulling the hood up over her head so that her eyes were hard to see. She had to be careful, the growing number of the Overseer's personal guard seemed to be increasing every day. Memories of the first few Crescent Stalkers she had encountered made her shiver, especially the one with the weird chained weapon. Then focusing on the more recent encounters, Kyla sighed in relief. The Overseer must be getting desperate if he marks the amateurs these days. This was good news to her, and for the dragons.

I'll guess around night, almost morning (Rocco burnt a tavern at night I think, so going by that). Also, my posting will be hindered today, as I'm doing stuff irl, will be signed on here and PSN throughout the day though.

Not knowing what had just happened, Nighleena drug the two ends of her weapon back into her hands. She had seen nothing of the sort in all her life, such strange powers. Pushing the scene to the back of her mind, the assassin looks down at her weapon, pleased it was normal again, though a part of her did fancy the new appearance the Kusari-gama had taken for those few seconds. Without a thought she picked up the rose to examine it, the petals seemed to radiate with power. Ignoring the loud NO screaming in her mind, Nighleena tucked the rose stem into her belt and glared at the others, "What?" The single worded question promised them death if they were to bother her again. She turned once more to leave, this time she ran instead of walked.

hmm, well ill hopefully learn more from somewhere, lol. Seems like it may be worth it from that alone.

What was it rumored to entitle to those who pay for it? If its something stupid, I'll plan to save my money. lol

The mental shock started to wear off, but her body responded with difficulty to the demands she sent it. Taking a skiddish step forward, Nighleena fell into a kneeling position. She couldn't decide if she should throw the cursed weapon aside, as it was still changing, or keep it and risk the unknown. The chain itself started to change as well, turning a deep blood red that creeped towards the spikeball end of the Kusari-gama. She turned to the man whom had stayed behind. Interupting his conversation with Lelantos, "What did he do to my prized possession!" The feelings of weakness faded as she boiled with rage. Picking up the twisted Kusari-gama, Nighleena sent the altered blade sailing through the air at Cerentis. (Nex, pm me what the fusion makes the Kusari-gama capable of please, I want to try and go by what you had planned for it.)

(Even with the added points im still under 17 >:]) Nighleena just stood there, dumbstruck by what just happened. She didn't look at her weapon afraid that the alteration made to it would render years of perfecting her Kusari-gama technique useless. Those thoughts filling her mind, Nighleena looked down at her weapon. She was surprised to see the only change was the alteration made to the blade, dark red, rose-like patterns decorated the thick sickle blade. An alien power within it spooked her, sending chills crawling down her spine. (I got the impression it fused with my Kusari-gama????)

Despite the man in the white coat forcing her to gasp in surprise, Nighleena maintained her focus. "Step aside scoundrel, I don't make the same mistake twice." After her spitfire words were spoken, she unlatched her Kusari-gama, spinning the spikeball slowly. Nighleena started to strafe to his left, watching him carefully as she calculated her approach.

(In terms of rules, no killing other characters unless the owner consents. Limits, not really, just no ZOMG I CANZ WIPE OUT 10 ppl on my own kinda crap. There is a partial outline and small discussion on pages 13-14 I think. If you're going to use more than one character, please use 3rd person point of view. That pretty much covers what you need to know, any questions, ask. :) )

It took her a second, but she decided it couldn't hurt to put a little scare into the curious. Turning to face him, Nighleena closed her right eye to reveal the mark. Her words were synical as they slid from her lips like ice, "This brand, this...tattoo, is the mark only the most skilled of the Overseer's assassins are given." With that single sentence, she turned to the cavern entrance and left. She had unfinished business to attend. (I think my character's bipolar O_o)

(Dragons flew off, the commotion forced them to flee earlier. And why are you thanking me for yanking you to your feet by the hair? xD)

Nighleena ignored his offer of friendship and walked past him towards the entrance to the cavern, muttering, "Idiot," under her breath as she made way to leave. She had to brush up on a few techniques since lately most of them were a bit out of practice. First, the man in the white coat who surprised her. Then the broken ankle scene. Her skills were slipping too much, she didn't have time to waste on these fools.

Looking at the strange man like he was insane, Nighleena wondered who he was talking about, "I have absolutely no clue as to who you are referring to." She turned to Earth still getting slapped around and let out an annoyed sigh. Walking over to Lelantos, she delivered a swift kick to his shoulder to knock him off of Earth. "He's awake, you fool." Still looking at Lelantos, Nighleena helped Earth to his feet by grasping a clump of his hair and pulling him up that way.

I use "FAIL" and PWND" irl O_o oh, and "ZOMGORZ!".

Hex, having a scar anywhere is cliche' these days, so is someone who doesn't, To create a character that in no way shape or form has traits of a character elsewhere in the world of fantasy is extremely unlikely, even for the professionals. Stop trolling the thread and go bother someone else. (Mather, My bad on that one. Thought when you said scar you meant lips since its a tattoo on the eye, Nighleena remains thinking you meant scar though. xD)

(its slashed diagonally across her lips, not eye. The mask is referenced numerous times to get that info out there :P)

At the mention of her scar Nighleena pounced on Mathias, The curved sickle of her Kusari-gama pressed to his throat. "Do NOT ever mention it again if you value your pitiful life!" The words shot from her mask-covered mouth like searing hot needles, her glare, murderous. She got up off of his chest and sat back, the raging inferno writhing in her was apparent in Nighleena's poise. It only took seconds for the infuriated assassin to collect her reserve, but just barely.

"Ah, yes. I remember now. My vision was a bit blurred as my consciousness was fading. That aside, I'm rather surprised this many of you are brave enough to approach me. If I were in any other mood your entrails would be spillt by now." She seemed to be talking more to herself again as she rambled on about the increase of random strangers.

"As for interesting," Nighleena looked at Joel, "It seems you've solved that issue on your own." Something in the dragon's attitude had caused instantaneous affection to swell her thoughts for the creature. Looking at the newcomer she immediately dismissed him in her thoughts (Only Nex's character knows her name atm). As the cavern started to get crowded, the dragons mewled in protest. Seeing that they would not have peace, they flew up through a tunnel in the higher portion of the cavern. "So, newcomer. Who are you?" The constant new arrivals seemed to grow as fast as her kunai supply depleted. (Thats Nighleena's thoughts, not mine. The number of ppl is fine)

"To be honest, I haven't the slightest idea," Nighleena responded to Kemios' question. She looked at the dragon-like thing clinging to the man's arm. So it could talk. Interesting. Turning around so everyone's sight of her face was hindered she pulled down her facemask so that she could drink the strange concoction. As soon as the last drop was emptied into her slightly distorted mouth Nighleena covered her scarred lower face up quickly, obviously self conscious of the brutal mark that would never heal. "And who are you people exactly?" She questioned both men.

Nighleena just stared at him, her eyes asking him 'What the hell?' She turned away from. "Adding to the chaos. I think not." Opening up her kunai pouch, which seemed to keep getting emptier as the day wore on, Nighleena flicked the remaining knives at the huntress and the blood crazed soldier. (Notice I didn't say they hit, thats for the characters' owners to decide) aiming for their arms so that the wound would not be fatal as the paralysis would seep into their blood and render them helpless for a few hours. "Paralysed humans can not cause chaos, now can they? How about that tea?" Without looking to see if she had hit her targets Nighleena turned to the odd man and excepted the cup. (Reference sparkling vamps again, I'll brand you a disgrace to the vampiric image >:] haha jk's. Seriously though. They ruined my ability to RP as a vamp and not have ppl lose interest when a vamp enters the picture. It's [cabbage]...)

HA, nice. I didn't completely figure them out till after I beat the last boss a few times. I just played with full control, no gambits. Certain bosses WILL massacre you if you use certain gambits in a fight. Especially when Reflect and Reverse start flying around, Party got reversed once against Ultima b4 I could make my healer cast an AoE Black Magick on my party, the Curaja just utterly destroyed my party...seeing 3 9999's pop up that weren't green....yeah, not good. Stupid Gambits. good for grinding though. Better to go manual with bosses imo.
