Jagex can't have only some objects with the 'operate' function and others not, if one has that option then every equipable item in the game has to too. Now you know why. : Thats not really correct. This game is coded in Java, which has inheritance, so they could just simply use the inheritant function of Java so that only a few items had the added ability of operate.

The one fact you are forgetting is this. If you sell them for 540 gp per piece, and many sell at 500. Does it take you longer to sell yours? If so you must also caculate that time into it. Say it takes you 20 minutes to sell them some of the time. Now if every 3 times it takes you an average of 20 minutes that means every 9 times you have actually spent 10 times doing it ;). Meaning subtract 54k from each of those. *If you said u make 540k an hour* or perhaps it is something close. I am not showing math just having you think your stupid little problems farther.

people have thought this many times. Back before RS2 came out and theiving we had the ability shown as carpetry, how ever it was scrapted. At that time people started to collect 100k's of planks, some I know got to at least 10k... so yeah people hear this all the time, the question really is, will it be new materials or this old stuff.

Lol Gothic I actually agree with you up until Zez got 99 in all skills. But any ways Bluerose13x came back a few years ago but not sure if she ever plays any more. I know that a few others left for betas (one left for RYL beta) Any ways you will find a few of the old legends pop in the game from time to time, but trust me you usually know when, mainly because people post huge here. (Last time I remember blueruse13x logging on there where like 10 topics about her coming back)

Tks was the 3rd or so person to be the highest in skills and kept it for some time, even after she quit she had the top for months. l6vi was a very nice person on the forums and I believe he still played the ArenaScape long after quiting Runescape Thunder, the second player, was one of the unofficial player mods I don't know those are the 5 main oldies I remember / classics. I believe you are right LKJ was first to 99 hp, any ways there where 2 people to hit level 100+ at the same time, I do not remember the second person but LKJ was one of the two, what happened is the max level at one point was 99 then they up graded it so that it was 123 and they both jumped over level 100. Going for 123; I remember Zong, and SAX where the two going for it first, then Gear beat them.

Well I am really wondering. Now a days there are lots of remakes of RS and many that are actually better over all. I am around a place that talks free MMO's 24/7, and the most hated game there is Runescape. Why because most are [developmentally delayed]s that want great graphics and everything in a Free MMO. I am wondering what every one thinks and knows. My guess is that since it is in Java, back in 2000 when it was being designed (and before when the first 2 lay outs where done (the ones before the release of RS1)) downloading was a huge issue with people. My other guess is the fact of lots of skills, no classes and possibly just something new. Many people criticize RS for being a copy of Ultima but who knows. Please give me your output. PS: The reason I posted is because I noticed in the quest EXP post it said added quest # 132. And I was thinking, wow I remember playing back when RS1 had just 32 quest points.

I used an older version of that at my work earler, sadly it broke. It was a great camera though.

See one problem Jagex probably has with doing this is people with 100mil exp in a skill already. Jagex does not want to raise the max level to say 120 when 10 people already have enough exp for it. This would be pointless and would create no race to the top. I remember 2 famious races, the race to level 123 (SAX and many others) and the race to 99 smithing (bluerose and others) What would there be a point of for this? Who can get 150mil exp? ________________________________________________ Please mark that none of these numbers are accurate only a way of explaining.

wow I havn't heard some of those names for so long but I remember them all. You totally forgot merlin he was the creators of the Wanderers, in my opinion the most famious non war side clan ever. It was the stepping stones of clans like BDK were it was only the best of the best.
