I personally enjoy the afore mention Reverence. It's great for slayer tasks, especially ppot consuming ones like steel drags, and it is also useful in any other combat situations where you might want to pray, ie. quest boss fights and PvM activities.
  2. Comic relief is supposed to make people laugh.... right? I felt insulted, not giddy.
  3. I made a post just like this one a while ago and it effectively got the attention of the admins thank you very much. Perhaps you are right though, I'm sure a PM wouldn't hurt my chances of getting an answer.
  4. Did you check to see if it was corrected? Because they might have corrected it and not replied to the thread. Checked, hasn't been corrected. 50+ days seems a bit much.
  5. Yeah this last one was a home run and all the others could be considered singles and doubles. I agree that there is great dialouge in Runescape, much of which is funny, but I for one don't like being a clueless idiot. I personally am very close to the quest cape, and I know there are bajillions of people out there more experienced then me and I would hope that that would reflect itself in how my player talks and acts. The money vs. kindness thing isn't as big a deal as you can have tons of experience and still want money, but I dislike the cluelessness sometimes shown by my player. On the other hand, there are those moments where everyone else is stupid and our character is facepalming the whole time. True, true #-o
  6. Yeah so I made a topic about 50 days ago in the corrections section, more specifically under Maps and Calculators, and I have had no reply to it from anybody, (besides myself). I made an earlier post some time ago about how I wasn't being noticed, and I was told I would be taken care of shortly which didn't really happen. I understand people at Tip.it are busy, but I want to help with my corrections, or at least be told off for having wrongs ones or something. What should I do?
  7. It's amazing that Zezima is still in the top 25...
  8. But I like double posting.

  10. Wow, hadn't thought of any of those things, all of which are great examples. I guess it happens more then I've realized.
  11. And then you get quests where you meet some jack off blacksmith who hasn't heard of you so you have to do trivial crap before the actual questing. I don't know how many quests do this but it's too many. I've destroyed demons threatening the most important city in the world, I've thwarted Mahjarret multiple times, I've stopped a monster uprising countless times and I saved the Cook from getting canned. No respect, no respect. The mock us not only by giving our players whiny dialouge, but they also give our players no respect! Darn you to the depths of Daemonheim Jagex!
  12. But I'm not a questing hero, I'm a wandering mercenary. To each his own.
  13. So if your good at being a surgeon, and someone needs to be operated on in public and you happen to have all the equipment with you, you shouldn't help unless they pay you? :wall: You know a lot of surgeons that operate for free? Hell even if you operated for free and saved their life, they could sue you out of all your cash for doing it without family/spouse consent and if there was any complications caused by your surgery their lawyers would make you pay for that too. Normally you would just call a hospital, have them picked up, they get operated on, and they pay the bill at the end. Ok guys, the surgeon thing was just an example. I could have said "What if you were really good at mowing lawns and an old lady with little walking ability and little money needed her lawn mowed?" That, of course, would have gotten the reply that she should take out a loan on a riding mower. What I was talking about was being an adventerous questing hero, not just a hired hand. Does Batman or Spiderman get paid? I mean they get hot babes all the time which could be considered "getting paid" but they don't charge people when they save them from a fire etc. I just think I'd rather have my player as someone who does stuff cuz he's a good guy, and Jagex's dialouge is not only calling us whiny, but insulting what I want my player to be.
  14. So if your good at being a surgeon, and someone needs to be operated on in public and you happen to have all the equipment with you, you shouldn't help unless they pay you? :wall: I give props to the many people out there who figured out the clues by themselves, but there are also many people who just Googled the answers. I wouldn't call that hard work.
  15. So I just recently finished the 6th clue of the Cryptic Fest and I noticed that in said part of the fest and throughout the whole thing there was an underlying theme to the way that out characters presented themselves: whiny. My character repeatedly asked Avalani for a reward and brought up the subject of gold laden trees often as well as complaining about wanting a reward during the 6th clue while talking to Vyvin. Now I do things like the Clue Fest and quests for the fun of them, but I also enjoy a good reward and I know many other players do these things specifically for the rewards. I got the feeling that Jagex made our characters seem like all they wanted was treasure at the end and did it in a way that made are characters seem annoying. Are our characters supposed to resemble ourselves and is Jagex doing this as a way of saying were being whiny and annoying? This is kinda the feeling I got. What do you guys think?
  16. I sure hope so lol. Talking to same guy and he's like "ever killed a hex? there like lv 5000!!!!" I'm like NEX, DUDE, NEX. ROFL
  17. The worst part is that this is happening at other locations as well.
  18. Just explained to this guy that NPC's in skilling areas are not players but programs. He was like "woah these guys play 24/7!" and he thought that they were hacked accounts by Jagex now forced to play all the time. :wall:
  19. Here we go, here we go same guy as the two previous posts Noob: Hey can you get barrows armor from barrows brothers? Me: As the name implies, yes. Noob: Cool, I'm gonna go kill them and sell the armor for 1 mil Me: The lowest barrow brother is lv 98 and you are lv 65.... Noob: I'll be fine I have full rune and I'll bring sharks Me:  Hey theres this cool site called Tip.it go check it out, has a barrows guide Noob: I use RuneWiki Me: Woah, bad boy, Tip.it rulz Noob: I don't want any viruses on my computer Me: Tip.it is virus free dude Me: If you want less viruses, stopping looking at inappropriate pics online (joking here) Noob: Okay, I'll try Me:
  20. Same guy as my first post, different conversation. Noob: Whats your con lv? Me: 66 Noob: Darn, I need an alter so I can get extra prayer xp. Me: Sounds like a good idea, but gilded alter is 75 con right? Noob: Yeah, but with ice drag bones I can get 10k xp per bone Me: Frost drags you mean? Yeah those bones are like 14k each and you said 99k was a lot of money earlier Noob: Well its worth it Me: Even if you were lv 50, you would need 2 something mil to get to 60 Noob: Well I'm 65 Me: 65 prayer? Noob: Ohhh, no 65 combat 32 prayer Me: Right so like 1.8 mil to get from 32 to 50 Noob: Yeah, thats a lot of money, guess I'll go mine some more granite it gets me the big $$$$$ you know? Me: Right.... Not as funny as the first conversation, but still pretty amusing.
  21. Noob: Do you have any 99s? Me: Nope Noob: How do you get one anyway? Me: Ummm, train the skill till it reaches 99.... Noob: No, I mean the cool capes. Me: Oh, there are certain people, one for each skill, that will sell them to you. Noob: So i have to buy it? What is it like 10, 15k? Me: Nope, 99k. Noob: WOAH, how would anyone every get that much money? Me: I have a couple million in gold often, and others have billions. Noob: No way..... Noob: I'm pretty good, only have one level 1 and that's Slayer. Me: Good for you. Noob: How do you do it anyway? Me: What? Slayer? Noob: Yeah. Me: Dude I could talk to you forever abut all things Runescape, but hows about you go check the Knowledge Base. Noob: Whats that? Me: Something you read for knowledge. Noob: Ugh, I hate reading. Me: That explains a lot. Noob: What? Ummmmm, okay where's the Knowledge Base. Me: Very first page of website. Have fun. At this point he logs, and then comes back in a few minutes talking about how he now knows how to slay and is going to go do it lol. =D>
  22. I'm sure this has been done before, but I was just curious about the favorite quest of the Runescape population. So post your favorite quest here and tell us why you like it!
  23. Sorry  I really hope this doesn't lead to microtransactions, although it would be good for me since I can make a lot more per hour IRL than in RS. Also sorry :(
  24.
  25. Hey, yeah, so I posted a correction in the Maps and Calculators section of the Tip.it Forum and I've had no response while people who have posted after me have been responded to. I realize everybody around here is busy, but I think what I found to be missing should be added. Should I just be patient or should I try something else?
