  1. Yes. It's useful for players creating a new account (Pure, skiller etc) but it's an awful thing for those creating their first account although the new tutorial doesn't help at all.
  2. That's exactly why Jagex should have never gotten rid of the starting supplies or money in the first place. Plus, the old Tutorial Island was more... RS-like in some way. The old tutorial gave players a feel for almost every aspect of the game, you had to train multiple skills, and use multiple combat methods to advance - I think you mean it was more in depth, not RS-like. :P I guess. But the fact that you also *see* the other players completing the tutorial could (maybe) make one think "Hah! I completed this part before that guy!" and boost one's confidence. :3

  4. Roddeck (The player's 'advisor') is a f- failure. Most players tend to skip tutorials as they're dull and most of the basic information you get can be learned through playing the game and using common sense. Therefore, new players don't know they can ask Roddeck for advice on stuff like 'Where do I get a pickaxe?' and then we (The experienced players :shades:) will have to tolerate "Need money/hatchet/pickaxe/other skilling items plzzz"
  5. And that is exactly why PvP/BH worlds fail.
  6. Very likely. I bet Jagex placed the deposit box/dungeon there to make the price of iron ores go down. If I remember correctly, they were only about 100 coins each last summer.
  7. Big bones from the bovimastyx creatures don't work on the altars. :P Yep, it's stupid because big bones from hill giants DO work. Hopefully it's a bug. I think it's to prevent people from killing the creatures for Prayer experience.
  8. Big bones from the bovimastyx creatures don't work on the altars. :P
  9. Well, it IS world 1 after all. And only 2% of all the people playing RS actually reads the updates.
  10. Almost there!
  11. Only if you're combat level 90 and above, so just stay 89 and below! Whopee! And of course, instead of preventing F2P from accessing C5 and C6, so that every F2Per gets an XP cut for not getting member, they give them access to C5/C6 to show them that "there's more to explore". Dungeoneering is glitched for me ATM. :/ I don't receive food from any of the monsters I kill and I get reduced experience, even if I dungeoneer with 2-4 skillers. >_>
  12. Am I the only person that gets reduced Dungeoneering XP when completing floors now?
  13. I KNOW! It's nearly impossible to get a good team in W61 unless you're either -A mod -Maxed out -A famous player with 10K fanboys
  14. I know, but sometimes the call of a skillcape can be so enticing. But I guess it's still a no-no. :shame: sigh... If you really want a skillcape, you should become a member and STAY one. Skillcapes are supposed to be for members, not free players. That's one of the things you 'agree' on when you chose to be a F2P. Besides, regular capes are FTW. c:
  15. Dungeoneering already has a decent XP/h rate. Imagine the XP you get for completing a dungeon with ~F60 prestige.
  16. I always said that when I was training in the SoS. Eventually I reached level 100 combat. o_o He means 100+ dungeoneering. Oh :s
  17. I always said that when I was training in the SoS. Eventually I reached level 100 combat. o_o
  18. I wouldn't be surprised if the class rings are members only.
  19. Hah, rank 173. Matches the number in my name. :3
  20. But we are going to get something. And I can't wait to see what. Hell, I honestly doubt we're going to get that level 166 dragon but that doesn't stop speculating and hoping. It'd be straight out stupid if they made a Woodcutting dungeon in Edgeville.
  21. Yep. I can't wait. ;)
  22. Congratulations. I remember when I got 1000 total. :P Good times...
  23. I'm not a huge fan of 99 parties, but Malte52 (The guy in the picture) insisted on being on the level up screenshot. :P Smithing is my seventh 99 skill.
  24. Think about it. 104M XP (Level 120 in a skill) is enough for level 99 in 7-8 skills.
