how insane is this?
I was mining iron, and I got this: (look at the chat box) Has anyone ever done this? Maybe it's not as crazy as I thought, but I figure I get a gem about every 400-500 iron ore I mine, so getting 2 from the same rock, wouldn't that be one in a 160-250k chance? No I didn't doctor it, I don't have the gems in my inventory because I banked right after and then decided to take a pic.

Dungeoneering Training
Just a few comments on these: 1) You generally want to leave the later levels for later. Since the later levels have a higher base xp, you gain even more with a higher prestige. You can start messing around with random floors once you've maxed out your prestige (Max is 35) 2) Once you do get a consistent team that knows what it is doing, they're the way to go. You clear dungeons faster and gain more xp for it. 3) You might want to consider rushing strategies where lower complexity is actually what you want. 4) Herblore helps out here And finally directly answering the OP 5) All skills you use in the dungeons give you XP in those skills. Making a potion gives herby, casting a spell gives magic. However, the xp rates are not consistent with those on the surface. yeah I gave you the basics, he gave you the advanced. run with it and you are fine.

Dungeoneering Training
1) Do every level that you can, it doesn't matter what order. Basically just use the rule never do a floor twice unless you've reset. 2) Soloing is usually best exp unless you have a solid team. 3) Always highest complexity, I think the next one down is something ridiculous like 30% exp loss. ALWAYS HIGHEST COMPLEXITY! 4) You can do everything by yourself, it's just hard sometimes, and that's dungeoneering. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Dungeoneering/Puzzles

Soul wars 100 points
Anything that makes a 99 easier I would go for it. If you don't you can lose motivation to train ranged pretty easily, but that 800k boost will make you want to get 99 even more imo

Hardest 99?
Quests aren't a skill, but the quest cape follows the same skill cape theme, and I think Jagex meant it to be a "special" skill cape. True also that it requires more exp than a 99, but a lot of reqs for quests are already done (for example, say you had 55 magic to cast high alch, then you found out about desert treasure and said, "hey cool, I already have 50 magic!")

Superheating
Super heating gold at living rock caverns you are losing 100 gp per bar, if you want any kind of experience you better be pretty damn rich. oh right, smithing and magic exp ARE expensive... :)

Hardest 99?
I don't think anyone has mentioned quest cape yet, thoughts on it? I have heard from numerous people it's harder than any 99 and I believe them, but maybe they are wrong. Other than that, I think hardest 99 consensus is prob: 1. Runecrafting 2. Slayer 3. Agility Continue!

What do you think is the all time best boss monster?
I like kalphite queen the best still. I like how it's old school, still really hard for its level, and just (to me) fun to fight. Of course the rewards are terrible, but always funny to see noobs die down there. I remember I was around level 70 with all of my best gear on, went down there (just to see what it looked like =D) and got hit with about 60 points of ranged damage in a couple of seconds. I miss old runescape

Hardest 99?
That isn't accurate because some skills are more popular and beneficial than others, so there are going to be more people training them, which equals more 99s. Also some skills have been out longer than others (of course there are going to be less 99s in dungeoneering)

Hardest 99?
I have heard a lot of different skills being thought of as the hardest 99 to get. I know the easy ones, like cooking, firemaking, fletching etc. And some of the harder ones I've heard are slayer, runecrafting, mining, smithing. I would love to hear from people that have 99 in any of these stats what their thoughts are about it. Also, I guess it isn't really a "skill" cape, but the quest cape for completing every quest is extremely hard too I'm guessing (think of EVERY requirement for EVERY quest + the actual time it takes to do each one). thanks
