Actually Sojour, that shows how much you know! I got 0 summon xp from bonus xp weekend. I was rank 3 with 31m xp summon for a long while and kept it around that number, moving up slowly to stay right under the first page. Then I went from there to 200m summon in a single week, which was in early July. That's nowhere near a bonus xp weekend. Which you will be able to tell by the upload date of this video: But, that sure was a fun 'fact'! ;) Also, Langer hasn't logged on Rs for a couple of weeks now...I'm fairly certain that he's on vacation or has a busy work period right now.

Drumgun QQing about donations - priceless. There's some things money can't buy, for everything else there's mastercard donations. Fanboys with low postcount who don't want to see the full picture and can only see the xp misreading stating facts as crying, priceless.

Edit: Not really lol, I've had a few free things (everyone has had like a gift or something silly during their Rs playing time) but that's nothing that would make me able to afford skills like 200m construct prayer etc. I also don't ask for donations. It's not being bitter, but since you went into detail you can't only mention the positive details about it. That would be boosting your own achievements, now wouldn't it be?

How does it only hurt bots? I had spent my 3M bank on nature runes to high-alch while woodcutting mahogany for some profitable magic xp without slowing down my other skilling. They implement this update while I'm at school. I have to sell my runes back for cheap because they changed this, meaning I lose out on money and EXP. I'm no bot, and it hurt me. That sucks. Didnt Jagex say that was a glitch? Or was it only superheating that they call glitching? Its hard to tell with them. But you can still do that and lose some money, its not like its hard to get anymore. I don't dice, I don't stake, I can't boss hunt as I can't get good gear because I can't get money, any skills which could be profitable are not anymore because of bots, so if you'd like to give me some suggestions as to how money is so easy to get, please, let me know. Until then, i'll be using MTK for gp. I have my methods, im sure you can figure out some as well. I personally dont rely on luck (staking, dicing, merching, pvm) and make 20m an hour. Luring? XD

Yeah haha that's what I've been doing :P I kinda want to save some charms so that I sorta have more than 200m summon but corp and tds supply the blues nicely (getting the rest from frost drags mainly but haven't been there for awhile). Graahks are crashing now btw, will have to see how far they go down.

Yeah :D, also how many charms do you have leftover from 200m Summoning? Lol I've made a few pouches/scrolls from some, lemme see what I got left.... 31k crims, 24k green, 2.5k blue and 13k gold.

Ah, no not meant in a bitter way. It is true though that you're gonna see alot more 300m+ month xp's, with the ease that people are able to obtain money now and Jagex allowing it (donations being the easiest of them). Once you have the money it's just a matter of wanting 200m buyable skills or not. They pretty much skip the process of making money, which brings them very close to it already. That will be enough incentive for more than a few to get the xp's rolling. Agreed? And ofc I don't have a problem with that Agen :P

@Dheginsea: Uhmm...That was when I nearly had enough charms for 200m, I still needed 200m defence though, hence the leftover charms that I still have lol XD started sw for the last 60m or so xp after I got def + the charms needed for 200m summ.

I remember that when Slayer got released Jagex clearly stated that Slayer is not a combat skill. Slayer has nothing to do with raising your combat so I don't really know what you're talking about. Woodcutting is not part of Firemaking because you burn logs while cutting, is it? +1 lol, well said :P I don't think Osiris is trying to troll though, pretty sure others will see slayer as a part of combat aswell. But hey, castle wars is just as much combat related and I happen to have a score of 7.1k games played which takes longer than 200m slayer. If some people insist on not seeing me as the first player to max out all cb skills then I'll happily be the #1 person to max out combat with 7.1k cw games played while Tezz can be #1 combat with 200m slayer, dg and wtf ever. If that's how it's gonna be then mmkay haha! Edit: Double post, sorry bout that. Edit2 to Shadow: Dunno why he would deny that when he has said so himself that he got 4b+ in donations. He's had atleast a confirmed 1.7b one before magic/summon, and another big one on 20th sept during his range training. This wasn't much of a secret btw, and it doesn't take many more donations from there before you reach 4b+ in donations. I'm sure you'll find more than those 2 people who donated to him.

This could be very interesting. If Drumgun has prayer banked, but is just taking his time since there is no way he can get the monthly record for prayer, we could see a great race for the first to max all combat skills. I would like to see Drumgun beat the daily and weekly records, however I think he would need some dedicated runners to beat Host Bart. I'm doing everything myself (without runners or 4b+ donations for that matter) while playing ES: Oblivion for the 6th time on my other computer (getting in the mood for Skyrim hehe). I did buy frost bones for the day/week record occasion but then realized no one including me would care if I have it or not, so I'm training quite relaxed and actually enjoying my gameplay ;p Enjoying this short spell of not being poor anymore aswell, although that will soon change again haha XD. I'll probably go nex again after prayer to get the gp's for craft and fm. And yeah ty for reminding me Thai.... I'll have to fish rocktail aswell >.< lol 2.7b took me about 1.5 years of intense pvm/skilling to make, whereas Jake earned 4b+ in about a minute. Quite amazing how much of an impact free trade has made on the xp gains/hiscores, which was pointed out earlier by someone earlier in the thread. I too, wonder how things would look now if free trade hadn't come back. Also, no week update or did I miss it somehow? Langer, where are thou! XD

Lol on how you're twisting the words, leaving out -true- master of combat. Devalue = giving 50% credit while something deserves 60% credit for example. I also didn't even mention myself in that post, so boosting my achievements isn't happening either (yes, even though I have similiar stats). I agree with you when you say combat master (90%), so I give 90% credit. True combat master, however, (100%), that would be too much credit in my eyes, and so I give my reason why for that opinion, which is what I did there. That's what the thread is for, you can agree with it or not. You think Toony/Chilly/Tezz/Wyvern would've gone for 200m slayer back when Skateenjoi was the standout rank 1 slayer with ~100m slayer exp? Funny how fast that changed once the slayer updates kicked in isn't it. Ya thing is I was already a long way into 200m melees when that happened. Scape didn't start in 2009 you know, which is what some people seem to forget sometimes (ignoring the achievements that were achieved already before this thread was made). There wasn't such attention for 200m skills back then, let alone all skills 200m, and I was 1 of the top gainers at that time (200m skills wise). Edit: Even if all skills 200m was my goal, not being efficient wouldn't be the right conclusion. I simply started a run for the top early, when the game was still competitive and more popular, and then the updates started to roll in which made the game so easy as it is today. I doubt people didn't train for example slayer back then because they were expecting updates that would make it all 10x easier, instead, more likely that they didn't train simply because some skills were too tedious back then. Also, the majority is not happy about the exp boosting updates (and such) that made the game easier. Aka, a negative thing happened, but then again sometimes such updates are required to ''evolve'' the game when you're working with limited resources and the set time of the game (java, medival). Can't exactly introduce Ipods into Rs, for example.

I don't see 200m Prayer and Ranged yet. Also, wouldn't a true master of combat gain all the required gp by killing monsters (combat) instead of getting donations to train some of the cb stats? Esp seeing as Pvm is one of the best ways to make money! :o I have more respect for someone who did all 200m melees through slayer and got donated then someone who just sat at abyssal demons all day long. Or sitting at Soul Wars for zeal. I dont think anyone would care about getting your respect, cause the way you make assumptions is just pathetic. First of all, gl finding a sw clan who let's you loaf games (ignorant much), second of all, gl getting 45 crims/h by afking abby demons (without extremes/chaotics/turm at the time). I pray flashed 18h a day for a year, that's 100% non afk. If anything, slayer is more afk because some of those tasks have aggro monsters which means you'd only have to run back to a certain point after 10-15 mins to get em aggro again.
