  1. Lol I'm mainly bossing now :P wc is just easy to do to fill up time. Won't be getting alot of exp for awhile I'm afraid :)
  2. I'm a bit confused now. I haven't posted anything the last few months until a few days ago, if you or anyone else for that matter can quote one of my posts in which it shows that I ''diss'' merchanting and boosting my own achievements by doing that, it would be much appericiated. ''I'm one of those people that was proud of everything I worked for in runescape, because I was able to get there by myself. Back in the good old days I loved my account because of the fact that everything on it I had worked so hard for and got through my own hard work.'' Your words, Cloud! I'm proud like that aswell, so it's only natural that I speak with pride about my achievements, and if I remember correctly, it was asked for top players to give an insight on their lives, stats, goals and such. You're basically saying, you prefer seeing people getting things by themselves, but if they're proud about it by having done so, you twist their words and try to burn them. Hypocrite. I only dissed certain types of ''merching'' btw, flip merching has always been less critisized by me, it's like, smoking mils gen rank = 'nono', flip merching is 'meh'. I don't do either, and that is merely my opinion which was asked for to express. By no means does that mean that I try to boost my achievements by having that opinion, lol. :shame:
  3. Here is the pic, but I'm not sure of the QFC. Pickpocketing guards anyone? *sighs*
  4. doesn't affect blackjacking or pyramid plunder i think The knowledge base says "The black ibis items provide a multiplier to your Thieving XP up to a maximum of 700 XP per action." It doesn't talk about any other exceptions. Has anybody actually confirmed that it doesn't affect blackjacking or pyramid plunder xp? Maybe Jagex should just get off their ass and complete their knowledge base. #-o that'd be strange if it doesn't work at pp lol.
  5. @Makaveli: Noes it's not that haha, just a misjudgement on my behalf it seems. Don't worry, all sorted out now  @Geo: Christ, if I cared then I'd go and multiquote the amount of times the church of Drumgun has been brought up haha XD but yeah. New page, new subject! Sorry for the off topicness ;) Concerning the black Ibis robes, did anyone get a piece yet? And if so, how long did it take? I would love to get some more info on this but can't try it out myself due to thieving record. If it's easy enough then I could try to get the full set before attempting the record.
  6. So this thread should just be about suomi, dragonseance and foot. but mainly dragonseance #1 to 200m all Thanks Thai ;) the ''Church of Drumgun'' thing can get annoying lol. Alot more top players than just me have stated they're not going for it and they get discussed too. And I believe I've said that a drastic slayer update for example would make me reconsider? It all depends on the time that's available ;) (edit inb4counterposts, the chances on that aren't very high though, that's why I'm saying no to it for now) And haha Makaveli that's funny how you're still trying to give a negative answer to that post and I can see what you tried to do there, but I care because I would prefer a somewhat enjoyable and peaceful gaming experience during the time that I'm playing it. :) P.S. If that's how it is then don't expect me to greet you again the next time I see you, not saying you should be a fanboy but there is a thing such as politeness and fair treatment.
  7. He is a hypocrit if your assumptions are correct, but without his late turnaround, isn't he right about donations? You do get 200m skills in buyables faster, but for many, moneymaking is an essential part of those buyable skills. Since you don't do any of the moneymaking yourself, can you really say it is 'you' that got them and call it 'your achievement'? We all blame Jagex for the sellout and almost everyone wants free trade/old wild reversed but the top playersr list would be looked upon in a very different way without the return of free trade. They are incorrect, I do know how to merch actually - reason I didn't is a moral one. I would've hoped that this would blow over, but it looks like it's just another thing I have to clarify before it turns into some kind of twisted truth. Kietaro1 was right, I indeed meant it as ''it would be nice'', but it was not a passive attack towards anyone, nor do I try to undermine other people's achievements. I'm being realistic though; Simple fact is that I cannot beat the likes of dicing/get lucky staking/donations with pure DIY, esp if updates aren't going my way either. It's sad that I would need to reveal my personal life to explain myself and not get attacked with accusations/assumptions. I've tried pvming (nex in particular), but I'm unable to make a substantial amount of money with that because of medical issues. The intensity and attention required affect my health condition, making bad migraines appear, which are very hard to get rid of once they appear. I'm getting surgery for that later this year. It's been a difficult time for me but haven't said anything about it, when I did try to at the start of the thread I was told that people like me deserve to get shot - using health problems to get special treatment. In other words, can't seem to do right, there's always someone critisizing something. What I have said before is a reason why I'm playing is to impress people. That means it's logical that appericiation would be a good motivation for me to keep going. What I've noticed is that people don't really care the way it's done though. Awhile ago when Telmo was still playing and raking in the exp's with money he had earned by being a gen in smoking mils, no one really cared about that. It's the same with dicing, or donations. The care level for seeing big xp gains and such is much higher than the way the requirments were met by the people who are getting the big xp's for the majority of people. You, Makaveli, as someone who is against donations, I've never really felt a positive vibe from you (as in a supporting way), while you do lash out hard when you get the chance. Lastly, as someone also stated, it's also becoming a race against Jagex as the game is depleting quite rapidly. Of course we're all hoping that there will be a positive change, and I for one do look out for such ''light points'', but reality is reality. Concerning the whole botting issue for example, I honestly can't say if it will shove Rs closer to the edge or if things will get better. The Jiblix vid stirred the mass crowd up - which in my eyes is basically forcing the issue. While in my eyes it's not a smart move by Jagex to have his Pmod and Fmod removed for it, it could also be said that Jagex are sticking to their guns in a representative way (not going to debate this further though lol). While understandable, it's still Jagex who is pulling the shots because they own this game. In fairness, what goes on behind the scenes concerning their plans is unknown to us - we just base our opinion on what we do get to see/hear. It's getting to a rather dreadful point; for example, I was actually happy when I saw this month's BTS. Alot of positive stuff this month - but, there's the major issues that more and more people will want to see an answer to. As a result, every time that Jagex releases an update, there will be a portion of people who will not appericiate those updates, and that portion will only grow until a solution is stated by Jagex for 1 of those major issues. Now 2 things could happen: Either Jagex will pay extra attention to the issue (who knows, they might've been working on it already without telling people) or they will stop bothering simply because it's too much of a gap to patch up. While Rs is not my entire life or anything like that, I would still like to get my goals done before the ship sinks so to say (we can only speculate what would happen if Jagex gives up, but there's a risk of Rs closing too). And yeah - I need some positive/fun things to happen again cause as I said, it's been a difficult time for me lately. Getting my goals would be one of those positive things. So, combine all of that and you have my answer why I'm CONSIDERING donations now. Still can't say I'm happy with the whole donations thing nor am I being dependant on them now; I'm still trying to get the money for prayer, fm and craft on my own, but as you should be able to judge by my answer, it's slowly turning out to be the only way for me to achieve those goals. It's not like I'm depending on donations now though, I'm still trying to get the money myself, but as I said, it would be nice... ;) Edit: @Makaveli: Forgot to say, my intention for awhile now has been to go as far as I can without merching/donating/staking, note down the total xp and put it in a forum thread or vid. So 2.6b exp + whichever non buyable exp's I will get from that point on. I also screenied the donation that I got a few days ago and will continue to do so if I ever receive another one, then put them into a compilation at the end so it can be calced how much the donations have contributed. There will be a special thanks section where I will thank/give credit to everyone that has supported me, should they want such credit (asking them this if I get the chance). It was insinuated that I'm ungrateful while I actually really appericiate kindness. I'm not explaining this for your specific opinion btw Makaveli, it's just that some people get kicks out of degrading/creating lies, wanting to ''see it burn'' (take The Dark Knight as an example). I'm a bit sad that you had to make such harsh assumptions while you don't know my side of the story, and by doing so you're kind of forcing me to explain. It's also quite annoying cause, while you might not have anything better to do atm, I don't enjoy writing such a long reply having to explain myself at all.
  8. *Gone fishing* Will be awhile till I get 120 yeah, I would prefer to come out straight on top if I ever get maxed. As for the cashflow for the prayer/fm/craft, not too good. Secretly hoping that a nice person or 2 who's fed up of scape by this Rs update quits and shares some bankloot with me XD Other than that, rocktail and the occasional herb run brings in like 60m gps a month, so it'll be quite awhile until I have enough unless the above happens :P Also Langer, if the screenie a few pages ago was real then it means that Richard (the number guy) is quitting rs after he finishes fletch and defence. So that would mean he's never even gonna start that long road :P
  9. *Pokes back* honk honk! XD

  10. *Pokes back* honk honk! XD

  11. Oh that wasn't directed at just you no and I got nothing against you either obv, it's just that you're the closest to it so I did use your name at that occasion. Sorry if that sounded like hating on you, it's fine if that's your personal goal and I hope you reach it. But this thread is for all top players to put in their 2 cents, so that's what I did. It's not negative/hating either, it's a discussion based on the recent events which affect Rs and the goal of 200m all skills (which is what the thread is about). They can be either positive or negative, but that really depends on the situation/update :o . And I got so many 200m's because my (personal) goal is top half of hiscores all 200m. Since you knew that, idk why that's surprising to you :P
  12. This was probably the funniest thing I saw about this update: http://gyazo.com/6afac870e2aae68686a5c2d3f5cd20e9 Didn't simon do prayer in like 20 days... Yeah, and I could've gotten 220m range exp in a month if the limit wasn't 200m (incl getting from 1-99 first). There's quite a few more cases really, so that's indeed funny lol. On the topic of Jmods and the current Jagex staff - I remember a screenie of a Jmod complimenting Aasiwat on his work, also saying that <the Jmod> was rooting for him/wishing him luck with future goals. That was back when Jagex still cared, and when I was tearing through the hiscores. There's no point in setting a big goal like 200m all skills imo, simply because no one will care by the time that goal would be reached. Ofc people are going to say ''No way, I would care if Suomi(?) gets it!!'' (probably because they want to see their donation being put to the use it was intended for). But honestly, at this rate the people who would say this now will have quit already by the time all 200ms is reached, moved onto some other game and never thinking about Rs ever again. Maybe one day they would find out: <Person who used to care for someone getting 200m all skills>: *Playing new mmorpg, being happy* <Random dude>: Hey man, (insert more urgent important convo here) <Person who used to care for someone getting 200m all skills>: (replies to it) A few lines of chit chat goes by.... <Random dude>: Btw, someone got 200m in all skills on Rs recently, the game that barely anyone cares about anymore. <Person who used to care for someone getting 200m all skills>: Oh, cool. *New subject starts* And that's assuming Rs will still even exist by that time. I understand this might sound discouraging to whoever is going for 200m all skills, but that's what makes me say no thanks to the whole thing, and I wonder how many people would disagree with this now that you can (clearly) see which direction Rs is heading to. That's my proper 2 cents on this :P
  13. Was going to comment on Toad's name change records + today's announcement from Jagex but then realized the quoted post sums it up completely lol.
  14. Has it occured to you that maybe they find the utmost enjoyment playing rs, and that it truly gives them an overwhelming feeling of living a satisfying life? It's addiction and/or friends they made during their playtime as main reasons to still play, not the actual game :P Or they just don't have anything better to do at the moment. I think that's the case for most high level people, not only the 200m all skills contenders. That's an excuse that addicts use, you know? ;) Speaking from experience haha XD Hmm, well, define an 'addict'? For example I can't compare myself with you because on average I play 10 hours a day less than you do but most people will argue that playing 6-8 hours a day is also being 'addicted'. At the moment I personally don't enjoy doing anything else and it's a pretty legit excuse in my case, if I found something better I would heavily reduce my play time per day or just quit seeing as I've achieved my main goal and atm I just play to kill time basically. Before maxing I would purposely wake up early to skill but now I just sleep 10-12 hours and don't even care lol. I still go to school though so it isn't 'only RS'. Comes in many shapes, idk if you've ever played Football Manager but at the info page of your loaded game, it represents several stages of addictiveness depending on how many hours you've played on that savefile. For example, at 1 point the message says ''just one more match, I promise'' while even further into the game the message says ''sleeping is for sissies''. Basically the stages of addiction are defined by how much you're willing to neglect to continue playing. Anything I'll say after this will atleast be partially speculative, cause no one can say for certain how the lives of other people are, but I do know that life usually doesn't grant you the luxury of having infinite time, money and caretaking available (which would cancel out alot of factors). A13d, yeah! Or atleast I hope so. It's just one thing btw (youtube wise), which would be drumming. But, I'll need to become a bit more of a Makaveli before starting all that XD, for me that would mean getting better (health) and finishing Rs goals (top half hs skills all 200m). Until then, the Rs madness continues! :P

  17. I can deny that! ;) started like easter chicken time :/ i'm close to 1k days, but still on 3 figures - very close though :P You have to tell me yours now you hero! :) Oohh hey King! I'm afraid I joined the 4 figures club already haha XD, 1.1k+ here. See you in there soon! :P . Did you get the chicken btw? I missed out on it sadly :( And haha Zojef, I sure would've been grateful if Jagex had come with the slayer updates and effigies like 2 years earlier. The whole urns/ashes thing too, then I wouldn't be in such a pinch for 200m prayer :wall: . Would get some terrifying xp loss results if someone would calc what I missed out on due to updates lol XD
  18. Ye and even using the chepest methods probably l green started rs ages ago tho lol suomi was playing ages ago and drum was playing ages ago too :P cant compare alog days when people started ages ago Haha not really, it's just that my playtime a day ever since I started is like 14-15 hours average - Had to catch up alot compared to the real ''oldies'' :o (and still catching up to players like Green) On that note, Kingduffy still plays quite a few hours a day. I think he's been around since classic? Would mean that he has quite a few days played aswell, I suspect that he has more days than Green when I think about it - don't suppose anyone can confirm that? :P
  19. *blush* loll, and, didn't someone state that she has enough playtime under her belt that would be enough for 200m all skills a few pages ago? Depends how you've bothered her ( ), but it appears that a few people know :o
  20. Drumgun for #1 angry birds player  Lmao I've never played Angry Birds before (ik what it is tho), I doubt a total newb like me could break the #1 record? I guess maybe if everyone has an equal chance, but ya lol. I'll probably beat that record if i keep playing 17-18 hours a day Jager, but I'm fairly certain that there's a few people with 1.4k+ days like Green098? Anyway I got 1.1k+ days :-o Edit: Oh, yeah that's me. Allo XD (I can't see the image on this forum though for some reason), and ty
  21. Nah, just fishing and getting my Youtube account set up so that I can start working on the real life stuff. Having more than half of the month records was a goal but I don't think that will happen anymore due to people passing them with stackable xp's such as effigies/dg tokens etc. I got quite a few things up my sleeve irl and if one or all of them succeed then it'll simply be cool to have some achievements in the gaming world aswell. If it wasn't for my irl possibilities then I would've gone for all skills 200m and all that probably, including choosing to train accordingly to reach that goal as fast and easy as possible like you're doing :P Nice going on the slayer btw! :)
  22. Yah, weird thing is, his daily exp is also included in his week and month record; it does look legit. Here's 3 examples (scroll down and look bottom left for the ''xp gain records overall''): http://runetracker.org/track-drumgun <<< legit records http://runetracker.org/track-androo <<< just an example of a faker - you can see his best overall month xp record is 15m, while he does have: http://runetracker.org/records-1 <<< a 54m attack month record. The fact that his record has been standing for about 8 months without getting removed now is the main reason why my motivation to get records dropped to very low, lol. A few good Runestracker staff people left as they didn't get paid for their services/costed too much effort for that + some drama amongst the staff members too. They also tried to stop the namechange glitch from occuring but failed to succeed. There's really only 1 person left who is still slightly bothered to do something about it (Aaron), but he's not THAT bothered either lol. Anyway, as for Nan: http://runetracker.org/track-nan <<< See what I mean? On first sight that's legit, but when you look at his exp gains on that day, the only way he could've gotten that is by having alot of effigies banked + using alot of sw zeal all on that 1 day. Lastly, when you look him up on hiscores you'll see that some of his skills that he gained major exp in aren't even 91+, which kind of cancels out the possibility of him having used effigies. Conclusion: a faker :P The other reason(s) why records are kinda pointless now are: Jagex and their major xp bulk/boost updates the last few years which has made it all possible for anyone with mainly alot of rsgp and with a decent amount of time to get to 3b+ xp heights (they seemed to have calmed down now on making it all easier but imo the damage is already done), the biggest of those updates being effigies, followed (imo) by frost dragon bones. The 2nd reason would be the mad money that's being made by dicing, that + fdb's (xp wise) = why the prayer hiscores got wrecked for example. Let's play Runescape. Edit: Oh yeah and the dicing is still going on. Pretty weird why Jagex hasn't removed those dice bags yet isn't it? I'm unsure what use they serve for a clan, but surely removing them wouldn't hurt anyone except dicers lol  . It's tough to be a legit player nowadays XD
  23. ............ Why would they refer to that as "spam-click"ing when you actually click precisely at the right time while moving your mouse? Stupid [bleep]ing [cabbage] Jagex Hmg me and fut agree universe crash I'd say rip Edgeville fm'ing but it seems that the world has ended due to the above quote. Oh well :P
  24. Would be a horrible slay task, no cannon/multicombat, no improvement on xp rates +full of vine bots (soon) Lol thanks, bummer though. Guess Imma have to get wc on ivy's then.
