I fail to see point in castle wars, in pking... Maybe.. but castle wars, I just dont see i Why not? Its the best armour, training on something like for example a dust devil, its a much better option then rune, and for my budget cheaper then dragon (as I dont really ever plan on making much money agian) Guthans is extremely usefull, it can litteraly make a trip last forever, if you training on something far from the bank, its so usefull. Torag is good for defense only really, the weapon is mediocre for me and its 2 handed, the set effect is useless. The duel could have with either way, if you did it 3 more times you might have one once and he won 2 times. I can't see how this brings anything to to the table. I dont understand what your saying with the combat, it depends. If i'm training on something that hits, i'll use torag but for something else I'll just use rune.

Dharoks needs to be repaired though.. Dragon 2 hander doesn't.. I also have to agree.. The special is pretty cool. But dha just owns it, its good for training, and it hits more. And really, besides the special for multi zone training, whats the use besides hitting big, and dha already replaced that.

The reason why is there newer, and less known. Lobbys will always be a stand in the community, even if other fish are better options people just like the lobbys. I only go there for the fishing exp, but I will tell you one thing, there are a decent ammount fishing. But I dont think many fish there other then the exp. No arguments, its a great food and my fish of choice most of the time.

Whats the point of any armour in pest controll? I pretty much just wear black dhide with my phat and i'm fine. I've died I recall 3 times. Consider the extra defense as a bonus more then a strong point. Agian with the pest controll/castle wars thing, yeah. Wear mystic, torag isn't for magic :roll: Opinions, I think torag looks fine. I think dragon looks better but in the long run, if your wearing it for training who really cares what it looks like? Agreed, but still, its only in small portions every once and awhile. For me, (however i dont hardcore combat anymore) making 153k every couple of weeks is alot easier on my bank then sending to total for dragon. Personally, I think people would rather have the small sums, every once and awhile even if they are not refunadable.

Sure, fine, of course if you buy it say now and then in 3-4 months you want to sell it back, chances are your going to lose something, plus the base cost to obtain it is alot easier for EVERYONE.

But might I say it looks very nice :D Actually it all came from a rant at the offical forums about the dropping prices of dragon. Of course its a good peice for wealth, it looks great and I wouldnt PK with it (Torag is a better option for that, if you have 70 def). I'm definatly not saying don't get it, because it is a great item, one of my true favorites i'm just saying in terms of pure armour and overall money security torag is a nice option (I think people don't realise how long it takes either)

I'm sure alot already know Torag is a bit better, but I'd figured I'd do some numbers. For the armour only, with 68 smithing and repairing it at your house it cost, around 153k. (I rounded up, more around 152 or so) So, at my cost at _____________________________ Dragon Chain 15.5 Dragon Legs 2.6 Dragon Medium 550k. Total- 18.65m ______________________________ So, 18.65m, minus the 1.9m base cost of torags... is 16.75m So 16.75m divided by 153k, thats about 110 times you can recharge before you paid the same as full dragon. 1,650 hours of pure combat. 68 days, and 18 hours of pure combat. Plus, the better defensive stats, and say if you die, you lose 1.8m, obviously alot better for PKing. So unless you're planning to do 15+ hours of pure combat and don't want that to go back every 15 hours to recharge it (which unless your training on something weak, which rune could handle anyway, you're probably making trips) torag is no doubtly a better choice for everyone. The status symbol of full dragon is gone imo, and the price is increasingly dropping as more and more strategys for the KQ become sucesfull, and more and more chains come into the game (the real bulk of dragon's cost obviously)

I dont collect much, I did keep a black long sword from my days as a newb, it was my first sword I bought, I held onto it after I got addy long, and then at around level 60 I figured wow this is an antique and kept it, still here. I've died with it once, I was a total newb I'd say lower then 30 and with my friend at the lesser demons, we were taking turn on it. I saw a steel large, and was like damn I got to get that and went after it. Died. (I woulda survived in rs2 :roll: ) a guy picked it up and gave it to my friend, and my friend back to me. Ahh, what a legendary blade.

If there wasn't dha, it would be a huge sucess.

Alching and Pest Controll

I think its 15% of your hp it heals, it lowers combat and then increases defense.

I think its about time, I think the demons look almost friendly at times. The dragons were ok but they didn't look exactly mean.

I Agree, Jagex is far UNDERSTAFFED. This causes problems and frustrations if they feel out of reach at most times. It used to be less Jagex vs players when I started, and its because it didnt take months for a service problem to be responded to, and overall when you did get a message back it was clear and cut and not a dry auto responce. Most other big name MMORPG's my brother says (as I play none) will answer you within 30 or so minutes. It takes frigging months to get ours back. Just simply not acceptable for a game of this scale. I like the behind the scenes addition but other then that it feels like Jagex is out of reach 90% of the time. I have reported so many in the past 3-5 months, and all of them are pretty serious, not a single responce yet. From getting over the censors and cursing me out to all other offenses like scamming and marcoing. Nothing.

I did put it on default, no dice. I can't really figure out what the problem is, it could be a problem with the router but I bought it less then 5 months ago... A better description then "freezing" would be it looks like its going to disconnect but it comes back. I have a couple other routers that aren't or wasn't as good as this current one i'l try soon to see.

Yeah after I put it on 6 (which is the default) and it still happened I left the fight caves and reset it. Hopefully this works..

So, I normally have no problems with lag. I run a sweet 9mbps connection, so normally no problems. I do have a wireless router and use it, sometimes it would go out, but mainly no problem. Recently my dad changed the settings around, (not knowing what he was doing) and he said he changed the channel, I have no clue what one it was on before, or in reality what it does. Anyone know if this could be the problem and what channel should I put it on? The lag is extremely random, and then it sorta freezes for 3 or so seconds and then its fine agian.

Perhaps for you Zoid_nerd, but for most its not easy. Its been horrible for me, lag, and every spawn feels like almost every spawn went the other way for me. It was funny I was thinking about this, like man I hope the new cross bow crap that they will update won't make the fight caves easier.. :?

I'm intrested too, as i'm already in my head with debts there is no way I can switch from cbows but I'd hate for it to be easier now that i'm getting mine tonight (hopefully?) its already easy. :shame: this will just make firecapes super common, instead of one in few. Of course being level 110 makes most things "easy". I really hope it doesn't..

I personally think it will be something usefull for PKing, not quite as good as the K-Xbow but it will be almost as good, and great against mages.
