  1. how much can i earn per day from doing dailys

Difficult to say, depends on current prices and on how many quests/diaries you've done. Check out the thread, theres heaps on there and some probably aren't worth doing anymore, pick through and see which you can do and which make the best profit and make a list of ones you wanna do. Im too lazy to do hundreds of them myself all I do is buy apples and choc bars in lumby chest, raw bird meat in og'log and battlestaves from naff and that makes about 250k from less than 5 minutes work :)

  2. Thats kinda contradictory saying people with low money shouldn't donate yet people with big banks should donate. I don't condone to donating because its sad really. I can understand a "loan" as long as that person pays it back ASAP.

By that definition I have to either say everybody in runescape should donate or noone should, or else I'm being contradictory? GP has different value to different players, for a new player cutting yews 1m is a lot and it would be unfair to ask that guy for money. For a mercher with 5 stacks of max cash and nothing left to buy they could give him 100m like it's nothing. I never said anyone should donate, but some people want to because they can feel like they played a part in helping him on the way to his 200ms

  3. He doesn't go around begging or trying to force people to donate or anything, he just says that he doesn't have enough money for all 200ms and if people support his goal they can donate to lower his time to 200m all so he doesn't have to lose time grinding for bills, as he doesn't merch. I don't think it's fair taking 100k from noobs with 10m banks or people with money problems or anything, but theres plenty of rich players with nothing important to spend money on that might want to help him out. I don't agree with begging for donations myself, considering I had to delete loads of beggars after free trade and I don't have money for 99 buyables myself but I'd never ask anyone for money. Nothing wrong with saying 'if you want to help me out you can and I'd appreciate it' though. That's how I see it anyway

  4. Nice data, I wish you'd started recording since before jagex brought back free trade so we could see how the pop has changed since then, that was the changing point between less players and less bots to a few more players and a load more bots, I remember before then the pop never hit 200k now it goes above 200k every day basically, would be good to know what % of the increase was caused by new/returning players and bots

  5. I think when the volunteers were released you could loot them 4 times per round, but this was too much xp so max loots per round was lowered to 3. (I think 3 might even be 2 don't remember). You will misclick at first that's normal but you'll find you get into a rythm and you won't even have to think about it after a while, helps if you turn game sounds on and use the sound to know when next to click, because if you click too soon it won't register, too late and your xp per hour goes down. Mousekeys don't help much in this method because the max xp p/h is easily attainable without them once you get the timing down. Move onto monkey knife fighters when you can, they're very fast I'm doing them atm :) and you don't have to click through any dialogue to knock them out which gets annoying with volunteers

  6. I'd reccomend slayer too, whips aren't worth enough to write home about anymore for abby demons to be a great money maker, if you value total levels and ever want 99 all skills slayer is the way to go, besides its much less grindey than camping in one place, and the use of a slayer helm for +15% attack and strength helps your xp. pot and pray wise, I'd always reccomend turmoil and extremes, or piety and super sets depending what you have available. The faster xp and faster kills/drops more than makes up for the small cost per hour of pray pots and extremes. Dharoks is outdated now, rapier will out dps it by far. As for ashes, I'd say bank them with yak if you have it but otherwise it's not worth the frequent bank trips. Not sure on mage I got 99 in 07 or something with stringing jewlerry but idk if thats still any good, if you're planning on training mining and smithing you could superheat in lrc

  7. Scammers are getting better and better at making phishing emails look real. As Monky said, JaGex will not email you out of the blue like that. If they need to contact a player, they use the internal message system.

Besides, if they thought you were selling your account they would simply ban it.

Yeah like they ban the bots - o wait

kidding but yeah jagex do email you now if you have your email registered but I don't think it would ever be an email like this regarding account security or anything, that's a typical scare tactic to get you to click the link like the antivirus virus (ironic?) I had recently that says I had a million trojans and to download totallynotakeyloggerhonest[Caution: Executable File] now or else my computer would explode with the force of a million suns. Anyways if jagex emails you legit or not just never click on a link obviously or just do what I do and never check your emails, ultimate safety! (or laziness but hey, I've never been hacked either way)

edit: tip.it censors dot exe, touche

  8. You could do cook and fm cos they're fast, you could get 99 in both within a couple of weeks for cheap and cooking rocktails is actually a small profit. Prayer for turmoil is well worth it if you have the money, con to me is a bit of a pointless money sink though lol. For crafting you could make air battlestaffs ge limit is 100 battlestaffs per 4 hours but that's a cheap and quick way if you just wait for 1k to buy or something, it's quicker than urns at least (180k per hour I think? Not including time to buy them). And i know what you mean about herby, it killed my bank :wall:

  9. I voted yes and I don't regret it at all, this game needs a real economy with money able to flow freely not some limited forced economy with junk trades and ge buyouts. And real wildy is much better for the game than the bh statues cash farm, even non pkers should see this. If it comes at the cost of more bots and rwt I really don't care, 13 year old kids getting their mum to buy them gold from the internet isn't affecting how I play the game

  10. Thanks for the update, this race between elias and telmo is really blowing my mind with how fast they're going, my moneys on elias for first to 3b if he sticks at crawlers, he's on 268m month compared to telmos 182m and he seems to be outpacing him at the moment. Telmo won't give up easily though

  11.

Anyway, in the long run this update could be a bad thing, or it could be a neutral thing, but I don't see how could it be a good thing.

You don't see how it could be a good thing? Don't get me wrong I don't like what they're doing but I see why they did it, the same reason developers offer exclusive items in xbox games if you preorder. It gets some more interest in the game, makes it stand out in store and gets more people to buy it. The item itself is useless it's just a way to get them some new members, and more money to work on updates. Believe me the day jagex does microtransactions I'll never go near runescape again, and I don't trust jagex as far as I can thow them but this is different, jagex is a business they're just trying to get some new people interested in their game, with an item that doesn't really give an ingame advantage. That said though I hope this a one off, if theres a new item like this once a month or something I'd be pretty pissed

  12. All the people who influenced me the most are just people who I've met around runescape, not famous players. The awesome guy who gave me full iron, invited me to a clan chat and showed me good places to woodcut and fish when I left tutorial island back when rs was more difficult and felt loads bigger and more of a mystery than it does now, without that guy I would have got bored and probably logged out and forgot all about rs.

And some of my pker friends who showed me their insane loots, helped me with pking stats and tricks to survive, those guys inspired me to get good stats and made the pk world look glamorous when I was a noob, they were amazing. Famous players are cool and all but its the people personal to me who really inspired me.

If I had to say a famous player though it would be suomi, when I get bored grinding a skill I think of how he stuck at a fishing spot all the way to 200m fishing, then an agility course to 200m agility, then lrc to 200m mining and so on without ever seeming to get bored and still speaks to everyone who pms him and doesn't act like he's better than everyone else like some top players do and just genuinely enjoys the game instead of just caring for ranks or fame.

  13. as far as I know they've yet to sell things of "use" in-game, such as levels or top of the line gear.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know much about wow, but aren't mounts only obtainable from microtransactions? The day jagex starts selling horses or something I'm done with rs lol, it does seem dubious what they're doing like they're softening us up for bigger things to come. I miss when Jagex was about making a quality game, not store discounts, facebook offers and community focus and voting for them as developer of the year and other marketing crap like that, for every update now theres about 10 stupid newsposts like that  My theory is that they predicted a much bigger rise in players with the return of free trade, and when that didn't meet their expectations they started going all out on other ways to lure in players. I'm really worried about the auras update, I can see it now 'all you have to do for this exclusive +10% xp aura is reccomend 5 friends from facebook! Or how about the damage boosting aura, it's yours if you make a runescape youtube vid with 1000 views!'

  14. How was it done by a user when the spelling is exactly the same? >_>

Facebook display names and display pics don't have to be unique

How does one change their display name on facebook? I didn't think such a thing was possible. EDIT: I just went to look and I had to have a first and last name in order to change my display name. The only optional field was the middle name.

Display name might have been the wrong phrase to use but yeah I just meant your name which you can edit in account settings. Maybe you can use a blank alt code as your surname, or theirs some other way to hide your surname? Or they created the page as an interest so they didn't need one, and got around having the same name by making one of the letters an alt code or something.

  15. Work out some useful quests to do, they'll give you a good incentive to get your stats up and the xp rewards will help you out. Lost city, monkey madness, Fremmenik isles and recipe for disaster are good ones to work towards so you can gain access to better gear. And try out the skills that are still at 1, see what you enjoy doing.

  16. I like items better, because I don't have much time for runescape these days, only clocked 2 hours so far since bxp. And people with a more relaxed playing time *cough*work*cough* llike me get a big disadvantage from these weekends. That said, I don't mind the weekends. In the hundreds of days it takes to get all skills to 99, 1 weekend of extra xp is an insignificant amount anyway.

  17. Male and female characters get treated totally different, women get a lot more attention, good and bad. It's a side effect of having a game full of horny teenagers who mostly don't interact with girls in real life. When I see a male or female character, I don't assume or try and guess their gender in real life, because I don't give a toss, I'm never gonna meet them anyway
