According to grimy's sheets the top 5 are all between 31-33 k profit per patch, with toadflax at 31 so if you want more exp you could jump up a couple notches otherwise just stick with toadflax.

After doing the above quests you can farm ranarr/toadflax which are both good profit.

Depends on the approval for that day, so for the first day you get 100% or a 1.0 multiplier for resources. The next 10 days will be 99-90% so a 0.9 multiplier and so forth until you hit zero. I'd recommend going back once a week or so to keep at least the 90%+ approval rating. Ninja'd

I was the one that made that claim and that was without using an arctic bear or scentless potions (it was before they came out). It requires using 6 traps to set them up faster, covering 2 spawn points and shooting chins with arrows if they wander away without getting trapped. I haven't hunted them since then so the case may be the opposite of what you're thinking and they could have been nerfed for all I know.
