  1. I have seen a quote on the forums/ingame by a J mod saying something like "Although luring and/or baiting is looked down upon, it is not a reportable offence" How far does "luring and baiting" stretch to? Getting another pker to attack you then running to your clan or getting some noob into the wildy under false pretences then killing him? Are they both unreportable offences?
  2. How are people coming up with these figures of over 250k PRE GE too? There are more worlds being added every year and the maximum now is around 350k I believe. Some people are saying 280k but I doubt 140 worlds will be full, when back in the day that was practically the amount of worlds. I might just be making an obvious mistake here, but thats my 2cents worth
  3. Paperbag hit 100m Range xp today, 9th skill over 100m. Elvis still slaying closing in on 100m HP xp and 100m WC xp (500k off), these will be the 8th and 9th skills over 100m xp
  4. you are a wannabe zarfot -> who might go to college but only attracts online nerds with his type of 'wit', which is disgusting, as long as people have the motivation to do something, whether it is fun or the drive to accomplish something, they shall play, even when the game dies in a few years zarfot was pathetic to quit the game, he is currently so far away of being something in rl, that he could have earned more sympathy nolifing a game, later he will regret to have done it zarfot was one of the players who didnt enjoy the game at all, and if he couldnt have stopped years ago, why would he now, his mediocre guides and tips were useless throughout, his social incompetence should have stayed within his four walls, and not reach the fresh air, i never had respect for what he was doing drumgun, gratz for the 200m ranged, i would love to see you get the cash for prayer ready Nice assumptions, troll.
  5. real shame he couldnt have done just 10 more effigys to get the rc 1 day record, or 30 more for the week Dat Bank space :P Option would of been use the effigies or start dropping banked 200m skills and other money sinks lol.
  6. In response to Simon, i believe he would be a contender *IF* he decides to do combat. He has easily enough money to afford all of the buyable 200m's, but yeh it depends what path he wishes to take his account.
  7. Once he starts slaying the effigies will be used on RC (after he gets 99) and farm runs will be done daily. As you can easily achieve 200k+ farming xp a day with around 15 minutes work, farming isn't really an issue. So if he does reach 200m slayer xp, he can finish the rest of the RC via assists/zmi and achieve 200m farming well before both slayer and RC. TL:DR - Slayer, RC and Farming link in extremely well.
  8. @Drummy Do us all a favour and turn your a-log on public? XD Save you alot less questions and also we can see some of these epic boss drops funding your 200m xp's :)
  9. Not sure about this one. No doubt that with free trade limit bots will dominate the lands of runescape yet again. But then again will price manipulation clans find it hard to keep items bought out? This is counting on the facts its true. But then again a "majority" is needed to win the vote but how much is that exactly? Only JaGeX knows.
  10. Suomi cant afford 200m crafting. I sold him a few battlestaves the other day, but he still insists that he will NOT merch. Even if maxing out takes him longer (his words).
  11. SUOMI is beasting teaks atm. After the 200m mage xp I can see him trying for a few more 99's.
  12. Sometimes the way someone WANTS to spend their life isn't healthy. Not working and spending those 8/9/10 hours you'd work playing a game is not healthy, period. Being healthy is eating healthy, going to the gym and/or doing Multiple sports, have a girl/boyfriend, have a lot of social contacts etc. Sad but true is 95% of the top players do not have anything mentioned of the above. Might still be good for them to do what they want, does not mean it's healthy. There are many definitions of the word healthy, mentally healthy, fitness etc. Also where did you get the 95% figure of "top players" from? Unless you do a questionnaire of these "top players" you cannot confirm they dont have parteners, go the gym or have social contacts like you stated, making the point invalid. Also being a "top player" *sometimes* means you have the financial backing to do the expensive routes of training saving you hours a day as they value their time much higher. By doing these routes they can get daily xp in over half the time an average player could. This is where these players free up time and can do things in real life if they wish. Just because someone has a huge amount of xp doesnt mean they dont have a life. Your stereotyping players, as some might not do the things you stated while im pretty sure it's not 95%.
  13. At the end of the day I personally see it as running a long distance race. Ofcourse over the race positions will change, people will increase or slow down or even drop out. This is exactly like Runescape and just because somebody speeds up training s/he's suddenly everyones favourite. Whether your training fast for short bursts or steady over a long period of time its possible to finish it either way. The fact is that everyone is different and have different techniques they prefer. Its more of a longterm task but just remember the story of the Tortoise and the Hare. Hope I got my point of view across clear enough :) Jon x
  14. @ whoever said why flip merch for 200m a month, its more like 600m+ with 1b+ gp.
  15. Since this is by far the best place to talk about playing efficient I have a little question. I recently fm'ed yew logs to 94 but i intend to get 99 wc, so i decided to try out teaks today. They seem epic xp and I am alching the logs that my adze doesn't burn. My relevant levels are 94 FM, 80 WC and 85 Mage. Assuming i stay here to 99 WC does anyone have any ideas at all what magic/firemaking level ill end up with? Any xp rates would also be fantastic or other suggestions. Im currently flipping +50m profit a week so ill be taking quick regular breaks to the ge. Also should I keep these "Special Teak Logs" that are used for the sawmill minigame (I have no idea what they are for). Any feedback appreciated! Thanks ZarfNot / Jon
  16. @ Langer, I live for your updates. I totally enjoy reading through them with all the latest gossip. Keep them going mate. :) xx
  17. True, must be fun having that much money as you can just hoard hoard hoard, although working around max cash could get annoying
  18. Ooo quite alot of people would stick with their own accounts. How about if you could chose to have a second account/ forced chose another rather than your own? :)
  19. Pick a player.... Any Player... that if you were given the choice you could be. This could be from someone famous to someone rich, someone with maxed total to someone ranked 1 in a skill. It could be a personal hero with a reputation or just simply because you like their name :P Whoever you chose leave a comment on why you chose that player. Lets see what names get thrown around, or if you want, you might prefer to stay the same. Jon x
  20. I'd love jagex to make an addition to the hi scores with a section purely xp based, which would probably cause more competition between pro players. :P
