As long as 1 input = 1 action, I doubt they will ever change their stance on mousekeys and since they are standard on every? computer, and also can be considered something like a disability related program I think. They definitely have not stated anything related to mousekeys now being against the rules and I can't see why they ever would. Macbooks are incapable of using mousekeys even if you bootcamp to windows. School made me buy a Macbook Pro and I've only ever used it on Windows.

Be it less people, but do also note there are more space, which is great in many activities. And then there are still worlds that are near full, so if you want to be in a crowd, just go there. I like it. Though, if it keeps going like this, it's very likely Jagex will cut out some of their servers to have more players per one. Which I personally won't mind much. Did you just say there's more space for activities :D?

I wouldn't be against it. Membership costs are basically what goes towards the server upkeep and if there isn't enough people to fill the servers then close some up and save us money :D. Not likely they'll drop the price though ):

Jagex also released this statement showing the top10 ranked players that got banned for it: Official news post. The top person was max total. Doesn't blow the "Jagex watch top players for botting" theory (firstly because that was about botting, not account sharing, but anyway) because there's no way to know if someone's account sharing with someone on the same computer, Jagex could well have been watching the Uloveme account very closely but they still never had a reason to ban until she admitted it. I don't think Uloveme would "only" have 520 days played, she was extremely oldschool and would have had to put in massive hours to be so highly ranked for many years. Could be her though, hard to be sure when it comes to playtime sometimes. Edit: Thank you Gem, so looks like ban for account sharing is more likely. I think they may ban the gold farming accounts because i think that's what most of the high ranked hunter/rc/mining bots are, because if you look them up its there only stat ranked as shown by others in this thread. That is probably where jagex will lose the most revenue whether they ban them or not. But onto your flagging of accounts the way the bot clients work is they load up the game and then "wait" (i dont get it but thats just what i read) for the reflection, if there is no reflection the bot simply wont start, this is why we see on some updates mass drop in number for a few hours after updates because the reflection is down until the scripters altar the client. Oh, it's good that it's (supposedly) a flat out stop to botting rather than an 'improved' detection system. I've also been wondering this; will this massive bot 'nuke' only stop bots mirror/injection from working from that point onwards? If that's the case the accounts that have been blatantly botting under the old system can just stop botting now and have no punishment. By extension that means that the bots that are high ranked on the high scores will quite possibly be left untouched. (I assume the new system will flag accounts trying to use those now invalid bots and ban them immediately.)

I hope for Jagex's sake that the bot-nuke works. They now have a countdown banner on the frontpage (for anyone who hasn't checked). If this doesn't work I don't think any amount of hard work can return faith into this company.
