Is agility still no time wasted while doing other skills? Its just a little slower? Yeah pretty much. They are actually activated even more now for skills like divination

We wanted this item to be a fun boost to Agility training while doing other activities, but not for it to outstrip or undermine existing methods. The adjustments we’re working on will change the rates at which the boots award Agility XP, making different skilling activities behave more like each other; this will mean that players can gain this passive benefit without having to change their routine. Some activities were triggering the benefit more frequently then we wanted, so those rates will be reduced. With a couple of smaller fixes, we’re confident that this will make Agility courses the best training again. These changes have just been sent for testing: we’ll be checking them carefully to make sure there are no new issues, so I’m not sure at the moment when they will go live. After launch we’ll keep monitoring the situation and if further changes could help we’ll look into them. With Treasure Hunter and Solomon's General Store we aim to create interesting options for players but not to replace normal gameplay. Thanks for your patience while we put this one right. Guess all the agility courses will become a decoration now just like all the rc altars did 2 years ago. Why even keep them in game?

This is seriously a huge slap in the face for those of us who like to run laps and who have put effort towards training one of the hardest skills that was left. I've been training agility the past 5 months and now I pretty much wasted all that time since 200m agility takes no time at all now. I guess I will just buy the remaining 55m xp that I need and finish 200m asap just because I want it done and to have one final top page skill rank.

Well I can't speak for them but my motivation is just the enjoyment of training skills and seeing my xp accumulate. Also the feeling of accomplishment I get with the ranks I have and how very little people in the world are doing what I'm doing, if that makes sense. I know Suomi did it for his own enjoyment until his last few 200ms when he started to not enjoy it but finished anyway because of the pressure. Jake does struggle to finish his remaining 200ms because he is bored but has nothing else to do, so he plays anyway. Drumgun plays mostly for records on runetracker and for highest adventure log time.

I don't use it. I can't stand doing group activities. I've been training agility at barb adv the past 2 months and enjoy it so much. But everyone is different though. I may not be able to do it 16 hours a day like some people but 8-10 hours of it a day is good for me. I plan to continue all the way to 200m with just shy of 20m xp a month on average. Hopefully the agility rework doesn't ruin it for me. Would like one last top page skill rank.

Paperbag 200m Dung? Now that is something I would've never predicted when he posted his social anxiety issues on this thread years ago, congrats Thanks, and I wouldn't have been able to get 200m dg without sinkholes/challenge/eoc. Grateful for those :) So glad it's out of the way.

I might be okay with this system if it means we can go back to training old skills again but please don't tell me if we have 200m xp in a stat that resetting it would only give us 1 prestige point... if that's the case then I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Other than a permanent rank on the old hiscore tables of the stats I'm 200m in I would have completely wasted the last 4 years getting my 15 200ms.

Just to clarify, I'm making rune 2h swords. Not doing artisans workshop. Thanks for the update though :) And I was on vacation last week, that's why the gains were low.

I haven't posted here in awhile but I just wanted to say I respect your decision to take a long break Suomi. You really shouldn't play a game if you aren't having fun. I hope you find life to be enjoyable and I hope you enjoy your ski trip :) You are a great friend and it was nice to talk to you about what's on eachother's mind. I really wanted to see someone get 200m all skills but it will come someday. I can wait. It certainly makes things more interesting. Not sure who will get it first. About what I've been up to: I have had alot of motivation to play again lately because of the daily delve into daemonheim challenge and the decent cash pile I'm starting to get again from farming torstols and a little bit of flipping. Thanks to the challenge I expect to get 120 dg within a year from now. You all know how much I hate dungeoneering :P This will put me back on the top page where I belong, that is if the new skills are doable for me. As of right now I'm going for 200m agility at barb adv course with pit and doing the daily dg challenge. I think I can go straight all the way to 200m agility. I really enjoy it. I enjoy slow skills just as much as buyables, so I really think I am a contender for 200m all skills. I know I won't be first but that's ok, as long as I get it.

Yup, I am officially back :) Won't be getting much xp at first because I'm going to graahk nature runes for awhile to get the money needed to finish 200m farming. (horrible choice to make money but i hate frost dragons + bossing lol) Won't do mage trees, too expensive. Unless I make a load off flipping once I get enough to try it again I'll just have to do palms, calquat, fellstalk, watermelons, and assists. Also some livid farm to get that handy tele to trollheim herb patch spell. Wow I'm basically making my own top 15 update for myself :P I'm going to bed as of now and still have alot more people to add after I deleted my list when I quit. I'm almost sure I'm here to stay this time. So if you come in my cc and are deleted dont worry, I'll add you tomorrow. If anyone else wants to chill in my chat feel free :) Oh and I'll probably be kicked out of the top 15 soon but whatever. Not much I can do. I just can't compete with the no lifers these days! I agree with your posts Jebrim. People who do buyables first just dont have what it takes to do slow 200ms for that long, including myself. I know I can't do a slow 200m for close to a year a piece. Maybe I could if I do a different skill each day though. On another note, there's a good chance I'll be coming back soon once I get a job irl. My parents dont really want me playing until I get one. I won't be getting good xp though like before, but I'm ok with that. Just playing a little will make me happy :) I miss rs so much. My goal is still 200m all but it will probably take 20+ years like Green :P
