If anyone ever looks at the tracker for farming, you will see that 1997ball is #1 for month and I'm #2. 1997ball is my brother irl :D We are both going as fast as we can, and I have a 10m xp lead over him :P I plan to beat him, but we want ranks next to eachother if possible. He wants to beat me but I wont let him :P I'm selfish about my ranks. Not many pro runescapers out there with another pro rs player in the same house I wouldn't think.

Everyone should do prayer that weekend tbh. Obviously the most efficient thing to do.

Wouldn't it be better for Tezz (or anyone really) to use bonus xp until at least it goes down to 2 multiplier before training a skill which is stuck at 1.1x? I mean, it's three hours taken away from training summoning, but it's not a slow skill anyway, so using 2.7x-2x could save that time elsewhere. Just a thought. Yeah I guess so, thought about that in my head about I posted this lol. He's got all weekend. Might as well do another skill the first few hours then do summ after.

Lol, I have this feeling Tezz is going to go all out on summoning this coming weekend. Even with the 1.1x its better than just doing some random skill if you no life 1.1x the entire time. Another person to pass my total xp :( *cries*

I imagine the competition will be quite fierce - a reason to do things like thieving, agility and construction imo. Yes it was very frustrating when I chinned 91-94 on bonus xp there were a lot of people sharing spots. 1 world I logged into had 3 chinners and a burster. Its even worse when they don't know how the bones cause spawns. Better to train another skill until the first 24 hours is up then try find spots. Hmm, doesnt sound good :/ The xp isnt that bad with 2 people sharing though. People crash me sometimes and I just stay, xp doesnt go down much. But with 3-4 people idk... I just hope I can find a world somewhere, maybe foreign world or something. Also I do play during the overnight hours when most people aren't on. So that should help a bit.

For Bxpw I'll just be finishing up range. Should get 200m on saturday or sunday. Just happened to be right on this weekend lol.

I wonder how many hours this would actually take and how much money you'd make. No one would be ever stupid enough to do it but I'm curious... Math people? Assuming everything buys and sells at mid, 4 cballs is 1192-824 for the steel bar = 368 profit each 25.6 xp. About 7.3m steel bars are needed from 99 to 200m smithing which is 29.2m cannonballs. Making the total profit from 200m smithing just a tiny bit under 2.7b. Wow I dont do math much :P I dont know how all you math guys make those calcs, would drive my head crazy. Edit: Didnt noticed you asked hours too. I dont know exactly how fast they make but I wouldnt think its more than 20k smithing xp an hour. So my guess is around 10,000 hours which is insane :blink:

I thought about it way back. Back then I also didn't know Drumgun was going for 200m summoning, I almost thought I could grab rank 1 in it. Glad I decided not to do it though because I never would have beat him anyway lol. But regardless of him, barraging rock lobs is just too darn boring. I just cannot barrage those for 5 months. I'd rather shoot myself. Like Drumgun has mentioned, it isn't very fun. I really do want 200m summ but it'd just take way too long so I might as well get the charms slaying. I do love charm collecting and pouch making (lol) so hopefully I can pull off some sort of summoning record :D not to the extent of drumgun though I dont think. We'll see. But this would be well over 3 years from now lol. Same idea with smithing, its way too slow with addy plates, not even 250k an hour. Hate doing those too. Superheating isnt bad, I strongly thought about 200m mage and smithing that way, but then decided, it'd be another wasted 4 months or more of that when I could be mining. I'd rather not mine and superheat at the same time but I really need to stop all the time wasting so I'm just going to try and put up with it. Might still superheat separately sometimes when I get in a non mining mood. Don't expect me to pull a Suomi though :P I'd need alot of breaks, I could never do it as long and consistent as he did. Wish I had his willpower. I just did range because it was only 2 months. I didn't consider it to be very long and I wanted some nice fast overall xp for something I somewhat enjoy doing. I considered getting 200m defence with it (long fuse) but I really don't want to have to chin for over 4 months, too long. Plus I wanted to snipe a top page range rank in time, which I did :D So I'm happy about that. And about the money, believe it or not, I'm pretty broke atm. Got tired of flipping and don't do it hardly at all anymore. I still need a bit more to finish off 200m farm, but thats no big deal to flip 3m a day. I actually barely have over 100m atm l0l, but I'm not afraid to say I'm poor. I finished the true buyables, and thats it. I don't need heaps of cash anymore. So even if I were to do mage/summ/smith I wouldn't be able to afford it and I just really dislike those types of training methods.

I never said I necessarily "hate" slow skills. I enjoy a bunch of them, they just take sooo long so I prefer to do fast ones first so I'm higher on the hiscores list. I don't assist rc because I want 200m farming asap so I assist that instead. After I finish farm I'll assist rc then.

Also, what about something like this for dark beasts? Using multi with cannon on them would be pretty sweet too, they are great effigy droppers plus alot of blue charms and ofc some dark bows. Nice find Arib, I used to notice this too when a demon was on top of me by accident a few times and the cannon just owned all the ones around the room :P Left it there on purpose also, but never thought about trying to do it constantly. I really don't see how this could be possible to do continously though, because doesnt the cannon still hit the one thats standing on you? Regardless though, it does seem really cool and I'd like more info on it just in case I want to camp for dung xp on dk lamps :thumbsup:

I'm glad you enjoy reading this thread, as I read it everyday also and enjoy doing so very much, minus the trolls. Thank you for your support for us. We really appreciate it. ^Not bad at all. Also random fact I forgot to mention in my long post, I made all my money maxing all 99s by graahking to 30m rc xp. That was pretty painful :( Didnt know how to merch back then. About the cave crawlers, as discussed several pages back, it's really not human to camp those for years. I know I certainly couldn't. I'd rather do it the slower way and skill the way I'm supposed to. Also I really cbf to spend 20b or w/e it is to camp those for 4 effigy 200ms. As Arib said, flipping requires constant camping of the G.E now and it is much worse than it used to be.

About dungeoneering, larges are what kill me the most. I suppose I could solo to 120, but it would still be very slow and difficult. So I'm praying Jagex comes out with some sort of update to make it more viable for soloers. Relying on people to skill is just something I cannot except. I cannot do larges or pull off all nighters without being overloaded and just wanting to shut my whole computer off and go lie on my bed and be depressed. I don't want to mess up my body and sleep schedule just so I can be on when people want to do larges. So yeah Jebrim, your suggestion about C6ing mediums is what I do now, now all I need to figure out is how not to die so much especially at the bosses >.< I do want at least 99 dungeoneering after I finish up 200m range though to get the maxed all 99 skillcape if it ever comes out. Rather funny that Jagex has been working on it for over 2 years now and it's still not out yet. You'd have to read the High level forums to see the jokes about that part :P And about Drumgun and all 200ms, I didn't mention him because he claims not to be going for all 200ms. If he does get all 200ms though, he will surely beat me too. And from what Telmomarques has told me, I dont think he is going for all 200ms either. Telmo just does what he enjoys. Before the wildy was removed in 2007 all he did for 2 years was PK pretty much. He turned into a skiller after it was removed. I've always liked skilling ever since the beginning :)

I guess I'm one of the few that really cares and wants rank 1 lol. Ever since I started this game that was my dream goal. I always adored Zezima and how much fame he got. I wanted exactly that. And after I got all 99s (before dung) I thought it might actually be possible since I was just learning how to flip just after I maxed. I caught on with it very quickly. So as I went for 200m cooking with sharks I started making billions so I figured I had a great chance at rank 1 since I could do the super expensive buyables. I slowly made my way to the top page with the cheap buyable 200m xp skills. I think I may have been the most dedicated and one of the all time fastest flippers of all time tbh. I was easily making 40-60m a day when doing 200m firemaking and fletching. I easily had enough money to get 200m prayer and herblore etc. Rank 1 was looking very likely! And I knew Gertjaars wasn't rich enough to get the super expensive skills. So I was almost sure I would get it. But then... dungeoneering decides to come out, which pretty much ruined this goal. Dungeoneering makes me want to punch the wall and cry irl. And it also ruined my motivation alot too for other 200ms. I slowed down a bit, but kept going anyway. I'm almost positive I would have achieved rank 1 if dungeoneering didn't come out when it did. I also didnt expect other top ranks to keep going at the pace they were, Allar and Drumgun for example, since I figured they didn't have the money for 200m prayer and herblore. And I knew that Allar wouldn't go for 200m range like I am right now since he enjoys slayer more. I enjoy training fast skills for the most part. It's not that I want to be hidden underneath the top overall page. In fact, I want it more than anyone. It's just that I just cant train dungeoneering. I hate it so freaking much. And I have no idea how I am going to get 120. Effigies maybe? Lol. Or if I can figure out a way to not die 5 times a dungeon. I do still want rank 1 very badly but just realize at this point it is most likely not going to happen. And I accept it. So instead my goal now is to get 200m xp in all skills. Sure I would still love to be rank 1 overall if I can get the chance to somehow, and get myself to do dungeoneering without wanting to cry about it. I don't even really play this game for fun. I play mainly for ranks and gaining xp. Which can be fun at times still which is good. It does definitely get tireing after awhile training the same skill for weeks and I do burn out, but I force myself to keep going. It's still definitely alot better than playing something like WoW or something intensely combat related, which I strongly dislike. My main aim from the beginning was to find something where I could try to be the best at it. I've come close, but not quite enough. But I've come so far so I will not give up now, and I never will. I will one day get all 200ms, I may not be the first, but I will do it. I never have any plans to quit unless I'm dead first. So let's hope that doesn't happen! I may slow down at times and take breaks but I would announce it if it were to be a massive break. But I never take massive breaks anyway :P I definitely expect Suomi to beat me, and I dont mind too much. He's a great person too as I am great friends with him in game. I wish people would lay off the trolling to him with the donations and other crap. He really is a nice person and cares about people. I am quite like him I would say except I have less motivation than him and can't pull off the hours he does and I can't concentrate perfectly on skills like him for that long without feeling like I want to kill myself. But we do both love skilling with a passion. So I love ya mate. <3 Hopefully I can be 2nd to all 200m skills. But we'll see what happens. Also I love to show off my hiscores and cash to people. I'm just a person who loves fans. The haters I don't like obviously but I try to change their viewpoint about why I do what I do. It makes me feel good about myself that I accomplished something so immense and had the attention to do the grinding required for 200m skills. It's fun getting spammed with trades at the G.E with people wanting to see my massive bank. It's very fun to know that they are in shock at how in the world I got my hands on all that money and wish they could have it. Lol, fun times. Not rich anymore though since there is no need to be, since I am basically done with buyables, after I finish 200m farming by the end of this year. Anyway, not sure why I wrote all this, but with the mention about how people feel about rank 1, I felt I needed to let this out, and how my view of this game is and how I like to play it. You can post your comments about my views positively or negatively. I'm all up for how people feel about this. Enjoy the long read.

I'll give some insight on this discussion. Personally I think I play just about the least of any top rank. Lately only about 7-8 hours a day. When I was more motivated it was about 10-12. Did an all nighter once and promised myself I will NEVER do that again. I felt like absolute crap, I have no idea how Drumgun or Suomi do it for so long. Even though I don't play as much now my life is still kind of a mess irl. I just don't have the motivation to play 15-19 hours without feeling like I want to kill myself and I need at least 9 hours of sleep or I can't even play the game without falling asleep at some point in the chair. But that's just me. If the others want to play 15-19 hours a day I think that's a good thing. It means they have the power and motivation to do something extremely difficult that almost no one in the world can do. And we should give them credit for that. Honestly, who cares what their real life is like, if they're enjoying themself on the game that's all that matters. Life doesn't have to be what everyone thinks it does being job, college, marriage, or w/e. Personally I don't see myself ever doing those things. I don't even enjoy being alive at times lol. But that's a whole nother subject that I won't get into. Wow pretty long post for someone who doesn't write so well :P

I need about 700k red chins total lol. I'm buying them as I go though so I don't have over usually 20k. Using the cash to flip with a little bit for the rest of the money needed for farming.

Couldn't have put it any better myself. I do dislike slayer very much (not as much as dungeoneering) and really don't want to do something that isn't fun to me. I'm doing range now just because I enjoy the fast xp gains I get for the very little cost it is to train. Also I will just barely grab a top page range rank which is sweet. :D Cannon xp from slayer really isn't a big deal to me. I will probably still use the cannon even though I don't get xp. Chinning 200m range takes only 2 months at the rate I train. That isn't much time lost for the nice chunk of overall xp I get.
