A comment on the new posts. Some of the backgrounds are cool, I especially like the things going BOOM. The text however, is rather horrible in all of them. Pixelish and with some texture?? Bad. The one thing that bugs me the most however is this image Wow, real professional cutout.... :roll:

Somethings just aren't ok only because "everyone else" does so. It is wrong. period. I'm not after you especially nor am I after anyone. If you use images not done by you..use stocks. On the educational issue...If you made images quietly at home and never went public with them, that could be ok.

Just a comment on the Copyright issue... Educational use?? Where?? He is trying to sell the image for pete's sake. That is commercial use if I ever saw one! You know how people who ripped mistex's sigs got banned? That is no different from what ripping images from google is. I noticed that there hasn't been too many entrys to the angel theme so I went on and did one. I'm in high fever currently, so the angel is quite messed up...(excuses excuses, really...I can't draw!!). Didn't put that much effort since it's only the side event.

Did you personally take the photo of the woman? and the photo of the desert? Do you have the photographers permission to use those photos? Did you even mix those photos or did you just rip the whole image from somewhere? Can you see the buttons on your keybord that make signs like , and . because it's pure heck to read your text?

A truly classy piece. .........(can't find words).........The brushings behind her back make her look like an angel (she already has the looks of one anyway :wink:). It could do without the tech up left, but it's so subtle, it's cool. wow. *gasp*. Best part is her right eye and the worst the brushing a lil to to the northwest of her head. LOVE the colours. Sorry...can't give any real critics.

the background is nice and artistic...probably against copyright (are those stocks??) but anyway. Fonts and colors are ugly.. 300k is way overpriced anyway...

I'll be a little harsh on you guys, for one can expect nothing more than great performance from you. The tentacles have already been adressed and I too would prefer it without them. The piece lacks a real focal point, where is the implosion? I also like signature more that aren't filled totally with the render, thus I think the best abstract sig I've seen here is the one Azvi did and has in his revolver thing. So, I don't like it too much. :cry: . Perhaps about 7,5/10 :wink:

Off topic: There must be something seriously wrong with my style or quality, since I haven't sold 1 sig in TIF or scapeboards (in contests or otherwise). Nor do I really get requests. I think this is rather pointless post since we just saw The_jeppoz beat misterX in olympics. :wink:

ow, I like the ones I've seen before the most (1,2,3). First is one of the best ever IMO (the colors are just so beautiful) and third is one great photomanip! Great to see talented people rejoining the crew. (Don't have time to wait for the pixel newcomers to turn good :wink: :twisted: )

I was getting some sweeet dreams last 12 hours (I actually fired a nuclear missile to Washintong DC in one of them!!!). So I didn't notice my siggy has been doing so well. Please let me know if there is anything you want added or changed. As of now the background isn't really done at all. Do you like it simple? or more crowded?

Well, my try didn't turn out that good. I'm posting it here as unfinished, since I think there is no point in further working on it. Should you however like it, I would of course try and improve it. It's a brushed kitty playing with a butterfly. In ugly pink :wink:.

I'm gonna have this a go in somewhat same style as my current sig. Would you care one?
