  1. You made that BG by yourself, but don't know how to save in lesser quality?...oookey... :?
  2. Hurts my eyes. :? maybe try with some different colors. Nice method anyway!
  3. Oh bugger...why do I always get into an argument :? The quote...a joke mb mb?? :D The style of yours...just find it a little plain and straigth-forward compared to your other works that easily out class these. Your first comment..."I wonder if you know what you'r talking about", "but maybe u can't see that", "all it respect for other ppl...call it whatever you want.", "Hope this stays clearly in your mind in the future", "u see here". Well I just find that the mood of this text is offensive and that it treats the subject (me) in an unrespectfull manner.
  4. So, there you have it. And btw, I praised the latter image and gave some critic considering the style. For that you throw me with a flamatory comment boldly stating how superior you are to me and mock my intellect by talking like to a five-year-old. geez. I guess you can't handle some feedback. :? PS I changed my mind...they are both ugly. :D
  5. I think the planet looks barren and desolated enough to just rip of the sky, give the ground a lil glow and replace the sky with a star scene. A real transition is of course a challenge, but I'd go with atmosphereless planet look.
  6. I like the second one a lot more than the first. No offence, but if "your style" is to put bevel and dropshadow on every segment of the image I would advice to change your style  I'm sure that Azvys technique is a bit more complex than just going nuts on the layer style settings. PS the border overlaps the "speechbubble" in the first picture
  7. Work on those tech skills...put in more detail and more....more...stuff! Just doesn't hit me. 5/10
  8. man, you have too much spare time...new piece every day. Cool!!
  9. erm...same planet twice? Mb get another texture and make the other planet again? =) peacfull and pretty.
  10. ooh...better already..a lot...but. Now you forgot the reflection?
  11. Off topic: Nad, could you tell me where to find the other star field tut? I love the starfield even if it's a little plain. Mb make a nebule somewhere? =) Planets are nice and the ring is cool. The transition and photo and reflection are the parts that need some rethinking in my opinion (I don't want to be mean but they are a bit ugly :? ).
  12. The black shadows of planets against pink BG seem unreal. The little planets don't seem to fit too well.
  13. Was going to say: "Nice stylish BG", but since it not yours...... I still like the sig very much. The text must have been a killer to do in paint. (get that PS!!)
  14. To make nebulas....make some stars first. Then get a linear dodge brush with the color you desire and some teture perhaps and go for it. I'm sorry but I wouldn't have figured out that it's a nebula, if you hadn't said it =)
  15. Well..this sure does take some glory of it away, but.... These are the BEST tuts I've ever seen on the net. =) Simirality to my work is staggering, but I will try my own wings for real next time http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts_arts/making_a_planet.html http://gallery.artofgregmartin.com/tuts_arts/making_a_star_field.html
  16. The sun effect was a bit of a lucky creation. I was making a blue effect with radial zoom against black BG. Then i put it on soft light and i noticed that it looked nice but i could only see the planet and stars through the effect area....in the heat of the moment i pressed cmd + i and voila! A yellow effect thats see-through elsewhere. At that point I decided to make a sun peek behind the planet.
  17. Thanks for comment Nad. There is btw no "bevel" on planet. I made some embos to the surface to make it look little less like a perfect sphere. And blue on blue might get it to be boring.
  18. lol...forgot to sign it! haha...gotta fix that =)
  19. This was my first try at making space scenes. I'm quite satisfied with it. The stars and the planet are made with directions from tuts, but now I feel equipped to do them all by myself (I haven't copied anything but artistic advice though). The nebula and shine effect from the sun are completely my own designs. So here it is!
  20. some1's pretty touchy...oooh. The rays are too long and fade out quick in the end.... the don't start bright and go out gradually.
  21. on a scale from 1 to 10....well..I'd say -5 =)
  22. Heh, this offense stuff is such fun! I think you all suck [wagon] and are a great pile of juicy smelly [cabbage]......i mean....no offense! "No offense" seems to be a magic word for avoiding being insultive when you infact insult...erm...yep.
