  1. Made a shark for an upcoming piece. It's a bit of a new style. Better than the old or worse?

Jeppoz..9/10? Perhaps on the concept, but the design, colors and quality are rather poor: execution overall. 5/10
  3. If you are a stundent, you may get the cheap edu version?
  4. Just noticed..there is no need to (usually) save brushed work as a gif, since they have slowly changing colors (great for jpg to hack the filesize down). The first one shows some gif dithering and dithering is ugly  I'm pretty sure that a sig of that size can be saved in 100% jpeg. Try it to remove the dither.
  5. Thanks a lot guys for input!! I don't mind criticism at all and I am a little dissapointed with it myself. When I was done with the first wave and splash I felt like "this is going to kick wagon hard", but the rest didn't turn out that well. The plan was to make the dolphin more of a focal point, jumping high in the middle and the sun to shine behind it, but the angle of the picture didn't allow it and I wasn't going to start the sea again. Hard to explain perhaps, needless to explain for sure. As for it lacking content I must disagree. I think it is too busy. But that is just me, liking the quiet and peacefull unserwater ones  .
  6. Was it that bad? 5 comments? no it can't, it can't, it can't, I refuse to believe it..NOOOoooooooo!!
  7. a comment Jumister.. I'd try not using black outlines on ice. Do it in the way kilner does it and it will be mucho better.
  8. My nautical signature series of 4 signatures took about 12 hours to make and, yes, I think they look better than majority of pixel signautes (not jeppoz or misterx or vladdy boy perhaps:wink:).
  9. I kind of like him...reminds me of someone....erm...me! IRL of course, to stubborn idiots. 8)

Different filters in PS create sketchy effect.
  11. Ever heard of the save for web command which lets you control the quality and sig size? No noticeable quality loss for 300x150 picture in 30k.
  12. Thanks, btw the dolphin is not transparent at all... The reason the upper part is lighter than the middle is the light ray, not some wave behind it.
  13. Freeman...the font is nice, but perhaps go with jpg instead of pixelish gif.. :?
  14. Perhaps you should just accept the fact that pixel signature making isn't for everyone. I'm sorry to be harsh, but these low level pixel signatues are cluttering up the boards.
  15. I'm sorry RuneRose to spam up your post, but Hera, the joke was "kind" of funny the first time, but it gets veeery old and pointless with the third post.
  16. Injection is much cooler already. Never done any abstract brushing, so I'm not that eligible to give pointers.
  17. The name for it is "Tide of Danger". Work time 4 hours. Whole signature done in 1000x500 canvas. All brushed. Psd file size (in 1000x500) 30 megs. Dream is a wrong word for it. It's the moment before actually falling asleep. The idea isn't that great, but that's where I saw it. (cliche?). Sun's last ray of light protecting snowhite dolphin from the aproaching strom and uncharted waters. (This is just pure BS ). Long story short. Rate/comment/or just say hi. This one is not currently for sale.
  18. We didn't have a real pixeler before (except of kilner). Those must take some absurd amounts of work. Yet I see more point to small stuff that really requires the detail given by pixel precision than big stuff looking like brushed work saved in too little colors
  19. Azvi  You are the nicest  You got me on the text. I was quite satisfied with the name implanted in "encounter" (below), but this had no place for such. Oh btw..it's not Arial. It's gadget. Thanks buddy! PS *browses through manual* Cuts - 0/10 omg..you don't have any cuts? wha?? PPS I will sell it at 100k, since I can't be bothered to go on RS for less
  20. Thanks for the honor  The problem is, that it looks too much smudged. A bit like my a-10 signature explosion. To help things seem more detailed and less blur I usually start my sigs with 1000x1000 canvas and scale thing radically.
  21. Off topic and irrelevant: every time i look at a render abstract I wish I could make them...bah bah.
  22. love my line work? well thanks!! (after I trash yours..shows you have some character!) Perhaps opacity could help it. The pattern fills on the left are the main problems. They are too bright...cause a nasty vibration. The circle thing is cool. PS the text thing should perhaps be antialised.
  23. I saw the singer chick once in the city. Not a great fan. Go Finland!
  24. that line work is way too intense. ouch. and there is too much of it.
  25. Sigs for RS money.... fair enough. Site designs...almost the same thing. Hosting solutions??...
