The grass is an old texture I found on my HD. It's on its own layer so I can swap i quickly if I can get a better one.

did you check the full sized image? I don't feel in anyway that it would require a bigger font, since it's only the name.

It took 3 hours, 4 textures, original brushes and "no-idea-of-what-so-ever" to create this piece. The picture is pure Photoshop although it would have been a place to excercise modeling skills ( too bad I have none :? ). The full sized image is 700kb, so it's a link (spared you with slow connections :wink: ) Made a new version. Changed the grass. I wan't to know how to improve. Personally I don't like the background. I just couldn't get anything suitable there and the solution used is probably the worst thinkable. It's there to form a contrast between the pure water and ugly human structures. I quite fancy the water however

lowgravity...the last one does look like fire, yet you still miss the point. He is doing pixel fire, not some brushed fire/filtered fire. He can surely find pictures of fire from google and your nonpixel fires don't do anything good. You are wrong, admit it, and then come back.

It's a great scene for a shot. Gorgeous valley and almost tropical looking water. There is nothing that can match the beauty of a mountain. Was in Switzerland last winter and cursed my camera that broke 1 week before the trip. and yeh, it is a little blurry.
