Been away for a few days myself.. looking forward to getting into the group 2 run my guild will hold all this week. I always miss the early bosses because of work but this week I'll be able to make a few raids. :D

That's lovely and clean, though. Good work. One problem I would have would be de-targeting, while using the click-buttons - you click between buttons by accident and de-target. Yes, yes, I know I shouldn't be clicking.

Thanks, its just boggling the things I have to remember atm, so I'm limited to daggers? No you can train swords too.. staves too. Stick with the dagger for now though. Don't worry too much at the moment, you're still getting a feel for the game. If you decide to keep playing, your knowledge will increase ten-fold, very quickly. It's not that long ago that I was running around in Elwynn forest, getting used to it. I'm still learning now and I'm level 70. That's not true, well done. As I just said to baron it's a steep learning-curve and while you may only be 26 now, it's only a matter of time before you're getting killed regularly with us in Outland. Well most of us use addons for that.. you can organise your bars any way you like, add more bars, etc. I'm using Trinity at the moment but there are plenty of them out there. Get it here. It can be a little daunting to work out at first but you will get the hang of it.

That's just a human racial passive ability.. the mace and sword specialisations both are. As a 'lock you will never be able to use a mace, and won't see the need much.

Just had some fun in Heroic Durnholde. :D It's not as hard as I'd been told - the only real difficult part is the pats, before the first boss. You need to burn them uber fast and get the huts burning.

Curator is THE gear check, he's also the first guy that isn't easily PuGgable. My old guild could down him fine, but you really need some epics going on to have a hope. It's just so hard because you need to have the dps/heals going strong, while conserving mana. God I hate that fight. My problem is for most of my WoW play-time, I've chased +crit and agil gear. Now that I am in end-game, +AP has greatly overtaken importance. Basically, it's lovely seeing all that yellow damage but without the numbers its useless. I simply couldn't burn down the adds fast enough.

I really.. REALLY need to gear up before I can run Kara. I tried Curator tonight with the guild's Group 2 and I really stunk at DPS.

Warsong Gulch is my favourite Battleground by a mile. I just love how small and claustrophobic it is.. it makes for some very close matchups.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
That is a shame.

I did, and installed the addons one-by-one until it happened again (with CTMod, Titan and Bongos). I ditched all of them and installed Trinity - it's fugly, but it's working and doesn't have the same issue, so I will adapt.

I can't get anything to work at all now guys. I always stood by CTMod but not even it is working now. I have tried Titan and Bongo2 tonight without any success.

Have managed to pinpoint the problem.. need a new bar addon. :(

I noticed earlier today that using an action to break stealth (like cheap shot, ambush, etc) would freeze my main bar.. no clicking or number buttons would work. No idea if they have fixed it yet.. it was all over the rogue forums at the time.

Serriously? my guild leader is cool about specs. Serriously though, combat mutilate and/or combat daggers is just as effective as combat swords... if not more so. I reluctantly disagree.. So far it burns so much faster. The main rogue from the guild is swords and she is very, very effective.

Respecced. :( I don't particularly like it, but god damn it burns hp fast.

After running Arc with the GM and some core raiders, the GM basically told me I'd need to respec combat swords. :(

Really I mainly need an addon just to get the middle part for my rogue button. Also how can I remove buttons for the defult UI? If I try to drag them out they take effect or just do nothing :x Ah sorry I meant to comment on this before.. There are several settings in the default Interface settings that might help you.. check them out before you install a mod. Once you have it figured, try CTMod. It's always seemed the easiest to set up and use: http://www.ctmod.net/ I have it running, with the majority of it's functions disabled because they are either useless, too big and clunky, or I use better plugins to do the same thing. Take your time setting it up, investigate the menu thouroughly, and you will have exactly what you want.

Sort of OT, I PvP'd Halaa a bit last night and managed to dominate a BE Hunter, several times.. was pretty pleased with myself.

Nad, I just posted. It's difficult for me to comment on Shadowstep as I've never used it, but I like the idea of abilities costing less energy.. maybe a trinket or level 70 talent would be a good idea. Hmm.

Doing my first ever Kara run on Saturday night - sad, staying in for a video game, but I'm going to a Football game the next day so staying home and saving cash is good.

Yep, I get that all the time. I loudly protest my position: THE GAME DOES NOT HAVE A PAUSE BUTTON, I CAN'T JUST MOVE AWAY ON A MOMENT'S NOTICE. I dunno I'm probably a bit lucky though - my gf has played MMO's before and rather than complain about the game she is more interested in watching and reading the lore, and the newer storylines (she played the Warcraft games as well). She refuses to play though, she claims she is clean and won't relapse.
