Why is it etched into your brain that the only type of support is financial support? I support bands by trying out their music(downloading) and if I like it, i'll tell my friends about it so they can enjoy the band too. That's supporting isn't it? Just because im not giving them my money means im not supporting them? If someone had a goal on Runescape is the only way to support giving them donations? I may only be 17, but in my mind, what's the difference between downloading music and borrowing a cd from a friend and listening to it? Would you harp on that? Would you send that friend to jail for borrowing the cd from a friend instead of buying it?

I'm going into senior year of HS, and taking 2 AP classes.. I already am swamped with summer homework that needs to be done soon, lol. I don't do sports, but I do do clubs and activities after school that leaves me coming home at 8-9pm sometimes.. on those days I just do my homework, get some studying in if needed, then head to bed at 11:30. On normal days, I get home at 3, do some chores or hang out with friends, come home at 5, do HW and Studying from 5 til 8 or sometimes 9.. then after that it's up to me to decide what I want to do, so that leaves me almost 2 hours almost each weekday to play runescape if i wanted.. i've always found it easier to have time to do what I want if I made scheduled time for needed things.. cheers :thumbsup: P.S: Don't quit runescape! Its a good game to take a load off and keep you sane during the year, especially at night before bed.

I d/l all my music.. for mainly 2 reasons.. The first being that its so much easier and faster and free to download music with 2 clicks of my mouse than going to the store and buying ONE cd for 10-15$.. thats like 4 McDonalds trips right there, lol. The second reason is half the time, a band comes out with a CD, and only 1 or 2 songs would be hits or even be remotely appealing to me, the rest being filler tracks that nobody listens to, so it always feels like a waste to me. If there were any good mix cds or like any good Now cds that really had the best songs from each artist, I probably would buy it. Even then there's a good chance ill just borrow it from a friend and rip the songs to my comp I'm all for supporting the artists, but the only way I can, is not by paying for CDs with money i don't have, but by downloading their music and telling my friends about it. I just love music enough to take that risk. Horray for torrents and p2p programs :thumbsup: \ :thumbsup:

Hey all! I've been in runescape since December of 04 and have been lollygagging my way through.. taking a very long time to get levels, barely playing, but recently have gotten interest back. I know my lvls are laughable at best, as i'm a very very less than mediocre player. Anyway, I left off with like 75 wc.. got it up to 80 and now decided to go for gold.. the big 99 WC. I will keep a daily log of what I do.. some days I may not cut, some days I may get a whole level at once, it all depends. And school starts in September so I may be reduced to playing 1-2 hours a night, but I will continue to update and go for my goal. Ended like 4 pm and decided to do some fletching, so I went from 48-54.. I may do this often, half the day WC and half the day fletch or get magic up for high alching (maybe yew longs!) Day 2: Monday, August 28 I probably will go ahead and get 82 today, and get some magic levels. I am now cutting in draynor and banking them, to sell them later on for runes to high alch and other things :-w It may be like 3-4k xp less per hour but it'll be worth it saving all those willows! (something like 155k willows til 99 i think!) Cheers :thumbsup: End Of Day 2: Level: 82 EXP: 2,508,222 Rank: 56,331 Another good day I guess, i got about 200k xp today, and level 82 \ After I got 82 I ran a few laws in world 66, and now I have plenty to get me from 45-55 magic using Camelot Telly (once i get to 45 lol). I'm attempting to join a wc company so I can have sort of a push towards my goal, but so far it hasn't worked out -.- A few people have told me that yews become rather quick around lvl 90, anyone have any truth or opinion on this? Looks like tomorrow will be a slow day, visiting a college and doing some summer hw that really needs to get done .. this is it for day 2

Good luck! Cutting yews at 60 can take a long time and be frustrating. I waited to cut yews until lvl 70, and was very pleased. Willows are fast xp if you find the right place and get into a mindset :) I personally am going for 99 wc, perhaps make some top list, but im doing it for xp not money. Might make a blog of my own.. again Good Luck!

Hi, i'm currently f2p and getting members in a few days, and i'm not sure what I should do first. There's so many options. Here are my stats. (I had members once for a few weeks) ATK - 52 STR - 53 DEF - 52 Range 20 Prayer 29 Magic 35 RC 12 Fishing 42 Crafting 21 Fletching 46 Smithing 57 Mining 48 Slayer 8 Cooking - 43 Fire - 61 WC 79 the rest are very low lvls I was thinking about cutting yews to get money and then "purchase" some skills. Any other ideas? Maybe go to quests? Or train a specific skill?

For me its not "fun".. but it's an interesting game where you can set goals, never "beat" the game, always have something to do, etc. The actual "thrill" isn't happening for me in this game. When I want thrills I head to other games for a bit, then come back to Runescape to work on those goals! :)
