  1. indeed Talk about overshooting it. Might actually enjoy an episode of the show for once.
  2. Oh god. I haven't had an actual Philly Cheese Steak in sooooo long. *drools* I never had Philly Cheese Steak before. I assume the real stuff is the only good one worth trying.

Was going to take a cold shower this morning but the lever for the cold water is stuck. At least the cold air outside was able to do the same thing by waking me up.
  4. Implying I should just leave that as a hobby? Perhaps I could... In reality, I could seek some other thing to learn but I am unsure what else I could think of that wouldn't turn me into someone soulless, which I am not exactly willing to pay.
  5. To be honest, I think people bash Eccleston for not acting like most doctors and dressing up like a serial killer. In my preference, I go for Tennant > Eccleston > Smith. The only reason I enjoy Matt Smith is mainly because I am a fan of River Song. I sometimes wish the Doctor could just regenerate already. Eccleston was pretty good. Rose was a total bro. But we all know Tenant is just barely ahead of that doctor with the scarf whose name and number I forget because I watched that series when I was two years old. Fourth Doctor, Tom Baker. I would like to see the older Who, but I know the first and second were in black-and-white and they a good portion of their episodes due to BBC's incompetence with saving money by taping over something.
  6. Camera died on me -> rage. Brother wakes up -> more rage. FML.

Personally, I want to get some sort of degree with the arts because it's the one thing I am talented at yet able to enjoy it. Sadly, whenever I mentioned I want to be an artist, my counselor basically brushed my goal off as a joke and ceased taking me seriously. What's worse is how the *only* person I can ask for on advice on how I could properly fund for my career path without confusing the hell out of me (I am terrible with money and the language terms used, sue me) is my older sister, who I rarely get to see. Lately, I've been thinking of trying again to construct my art portfolio once more without asking anybody for help since they didn't think I was worth it for the goal I want. Even though art is essentially dying to most people, I don't exactly have much on the table to choose.
  8. I blame my parents and school for not taking my desire to go to college seriously. I've been thinking of asking my sister since she actually gives advice that isn't remotely vague, but the fact I am into an art degree is usually when they go "eh, whatever". Really, I guess I should go with some bullshit liberal arts crap degree or something subpar instead making use of something I *know* I am talented in? Honestly, even if I got good with funds and getting the loans, I am starting to not care anymore since being creative and original is sourly looked down upon. After all, thanks to the Industrial Revolution-era system, having an independent mind will screw your chances at being employed.
  9. It's almost 1:30 AM and I am still online...
  10. Best part of writer's block is getting out of it. I wish I had a talent for writing, but I'll just stick to math and science. I am great writing... with ideas. Getting it to communicate articulately is my worst issue by far. Plus, I usually end up angering people when the subject in question is on my own opinions.
  11. Holy shit that's a steep hill. This is why I like people who take notice of things going on in the background. That's where the real gold is. :P

  13. Odd this combination of my art epiphany, this debate, and a cracked article is making me feel inspired for some reason.
  14. I'll mug your ass anyway.
  15. And it encourages those who are failing to try not fail. Make push go to shove and drag them into the right direction. It was bad enough my old high school wasn't taking college seriously, but they are failing standards set by that stupid NCLB thing and are in deeper crap. Yet they insist they can stay as they are and still succeed.... ...morons.
  16. Dibs on his wallet and cards/money.
  17. *has snagged a d chain from Dust Devils before* 12k kills. At least Kalphite Queen is likely more tolerable now than it was years ago. :P
  18. How much more did you spend to go from 4th to 10th-- *hears a splat*
  19. Found an old watercolor painting I did from Junior Year. Since it's dark and my camera sucks, I'll take a pic and post it in the morning.
  20. lol did you see what i did there Nooo, Gooon! :( I don't get the joke.
  21. And people who don't try to "fit into that size" by any means will get tossed aside. That's why I mainly haven't found a job easily. It's not "nonconformity", but that I don't share that mentality of following things mindlessly and going against the flow America is going but not changing the flow towards. I wonder if some top universities have a little bit of that mentality too because they're in the States.

  23. Annoying part is that people still think that "one size fits all" and try to force you to fit your feet into that damn show regardless if you feel uncomfortable after that. We need to toss that damn mentality aside. In fact, we need to throw our mentality of being clingy and preserving almost everywhere away and change.
  24. *applauds* Enlightening like a harpy. Honestly, not only this took the words from my mouth but made me think of my issues with the education system in a new way. Let's harpy orgy at this.
  25. Reading Homestuck again; I got a lot to catch up on.
