Thanks god of lego, you completely understand my point. I gave EoC a chance, even though I haven't liked it from the beginning. I tried, I have quit but I care about the game i played and loved for 6 years until it was dramatically changed and MANY people have quit cause of it, i used to have friend lists with people in 2010 and it used to be so active, now not a single person is online, on any account of mine at all.

older playerbase leaves? ;) maybe there won't be new members to make up for those that left, and it's not nice of you to say that everyone has to accept the changes that are being forced upon them? Even if you LOVE Eoc as you seem to do, that doesn't mean it's fair it was just forced down the throat of those who didn't want it, blizzard unlike Jagex, cares for those who play that amazing game, and isn't going to FORCE New character models down my throat, but be fair to everyone, including those who DON'T want new models, so yeah... I wouldn't say Jagex cares about their former players..... forcing this EOC... down our throats.

2006 was the best year ever for me, however 2010 was just as great except much less people I could play with and lots of old stuff gone. I prefer 2006 over 2013 anyday though. and it's not because of nostalgia, people can like 2006 more for many reasons, and tiny screen didn't matter to me in any way, I had more fun playing in 2006 then I ever have in 2012-2013. and I agree with above poster - much less greed in '06 and not everyone was obsessed with "99s" and "skillcapes" and nothing else... in 2006 I didn't see a SINGLE person being rude over them having a stupid cape or a "99". God I miss not seeing only skillcape-nerds.

True. And once they DO come back and yall realize where all the fun is at.... I'll leave it at that. If this whole thing becomes a sucess, more than haf of the users online will be on the 2007 servers. Enjoy your empty worlds. Well, I can't wait for this and I love that Jagex are atleast thinking about us who want this. I don't care what you EoC-ists think about this, I would never get bored of a 2006 server if it was made by Jagex. It atleast would be up and I wouldn't lose my progress, I would go maxed on an old rs. EOC is waaay more boring for me then ever 2006-scape. So ye, i would deff play RS-2006 all day then ever that eoc.

lol, Lumbridge w1 is full of those and has always been, full of level 100-120s dancing with level 10-90 She-males and e-daters. :L oh and the house near Varrock, near the guards used to be like VSquare, but died before or after it died.

Nope. It were high level players, both f2p and m2mbers and some low levels. Not a tele crowd, i remember people Alching a lot there. And E-Dating / Dancing, people with bunny ears & rares & such... I remember it so much, today it's gone? Not a single damn person there.

No before those Events.. when it had nothing but stalls and the fountain it used to be popular, it didn't die after the G.E ... NOW it's dead .. and I'm wondering why. :( It was popular from 2008 - 2012. so I am wondering what the hell happened in 2012. =/ I remember seeing people everyday there weeks before those olympic / stuff events. :/

I remember there used to be so many people there, and most recently in May / June / July ... now it's dead.. :( I never see any groups of people there anymore, not a single person. Why is this happening? :c When did it Die? Was it killed by the G.E ? :c (also GE is a major laggfest for me so it will never be the same as the Square.)

Wow I had no idea this was from 2001, awesome guys. Too bad I'm a newb that first joined in 2011.. and have only been playing since '05 :(
