  1. I'm basically asking if my order of xp-gain is the best/most efficient way to do max out my combat.
  2. Hey, So I am planning on doing a lot of slayer and want to make good choices about it. At one point after the release of EOC, I was reading that you train Mage and Range where you split the xp between defense and the style you are using. Is this still the case? (Stats in sig if they matter) EDIT: My current plan of attack is to keep doing slayer tasks until I hit 99 slayer. Melee Tasks: Defense til 99, Attack til 99 then Strength til 99 Magic Tasks: Magic& Defense til 99 Def, Magic til 99 Range Task: Range&Defense til 99 Def, Range til 99
  3. Has there been any testing done to determine which is better? I recently finished ROTM and figured I should take a swing at it.
  4. If you were to go an at-all-costs route, you could cancel/block tasks that aren't melee.
  5. I use royal xbow and bunyip on wf slayer tasks. The sharks that they drop more than make up for damage that I'm not being healed by my familiar.
  6. ^ also the FSH is wonderful for xp/hr. The only drawback to this method is that you will get range/mage tasks as well; if you are looking to grind nothing but melee, then it may not be the best choice.
  7. I like to take rapier (korasi's works well too), dfs and bandos to snag the first hit, then use shield abilities to heal any damage that i might take. Zammy spear + super antifires is also lovely, but I'm rather careless when I play and have forgotten to re-pot and gotten toasted by dragon fire a couple times, so I take the shield for safe measure. I have also seen people using void + z spear, full guthans and full dharok's, although I don't have any practical experience with any of these set ups on frost dragons. General tips: Don't focus on killing the frosties completely, focus on getting the first damage, and maintaining a comfortable health. There are enough bots there to do most of the heavy lifting, so fight at least two dragons at a time. I've seen a guy handling 5 with soul split on, so venture boldly. Bring war tort (soon pack yak judging by your sig) to collect more bones / trip. Use the obby and alter on the way from Port Salim lodestone to recharge anything you might need. Cannon isn't necessary anymore. Pick up noted herbs as they drop, and when your inven starts to get full, drop herb piles that are less than the value of a frost bone to maximize profit / inv space. You may want to follow the above rule for charms as well. I personally have been collecting blue and crim charms in preperation for my next summoning run, and am using the metric of a crim charm = 1k and blue charm = 2.5k.
  8. Hey All, I'm looking for the best way to go from 81-92 prayer. The two ways I'm currently considering are infernal ashes at ecto (need 17k of them for 22M) or dragon bones at alter (need 17k of them for 30M). I think it's out of my price range, but what's my hourly earning potential need to be for frost dragon bones are more efficient (I would need 8.6k of them for 58M)? Which way am I best off with?
  9. Hi I want to go from 71 (almost 72) herblore to 85 (for Super AntiFires). What's the best method? I have about 25m to spend on it.
  10. Disclaimer: I'm not sure if you'd refer to me as midranged, but certainly I'm not high leveled. I'd like to do QBD for many reasons, mainly to kill myself up some money. Planned set up: Void Melee Helm Soul Wars Cape Fury [No Arrows] Chaotic Rapier Elite Void Body Dragonfire Shield Void Robes (I can get this elite if necessary) Void Gloves Dragon Boots Zerk Ring The problem I'm running into is I'm unsure what summoning familiar to use (74 summoning), and how to cope with the fact that my herblore is dismal(70 herblore). Hopefully, I'll get good at killing QBD/get lucky with killing her and can buy 85 herb soon. Any help? The rest of my stats are in my sig, if curious.
  11. Hi All, So when I was a noob I thought it would be a good idea to buy a bunch of crystal shields and charge them and sell them for a profit. Quickly after I learned they were untradable and have been slowly working on discharging them through slayer. Is there any way to discharge the shield and revert it back to the seed? If not, what would recommend me do to get these discharged and out of my bank quickly?
  12. Hi Guys, Just wondering what the best way to raise herb from 66 with 5m is. I'd like to pick a middle of the road cost. Advice?
  13. Dont you mean you were pheasantly surprised?
  14. So I was thinking that it would make the fight easier if one were to use blood blitz, so you can heal automatically, throughout the fight. Would this be feasible? (I currently have burned 209 vamps, and am going to try fighting him once I have 300 burned.)
  15. Ignore this, its bad advice. Df shield is worthless as is sgs DF for Frost dragons as he mentioned. SGS retracted then.
  16. Don't forget to get a df shield if you don't already have one. A sara godsword is awesome for slayer.
  17. Note: After the first 4 tasks, you then get points for every task, with bonuses on specific intervals (10's, etc). Also: Build the slayer helm asap.
  18. This. Although wear your ring of fire/flame gloves to increase fming exp, even if its just a little.
  19. Hi, Is there a spreadsheet for what the improvement of burn rate for using the Lumbridge Range v. Sulfur Vents v. Elsewhere? Almost have enough sharks for 90 cooking. :) Thanks!
  20. Hey, I've seen in a few other places that there are walkthroughs for the Task sets, and I haven't done seers' yet, so I figured I would write the walkthrough. I'm not using too much new information, its just organized in an easier way for someone who wants to just get through the task set quickly. You're all welcome to comment/correct/add/modify to it as you wish, but I figured i've used tip.it for help quite a bit that I can give back. One thing that I'd like is to have all the internal links set up as I don't know how to do that (Where i list the items needed and you can be linked to the item database.) Please double check my grammar, English is my 4th language, and I've only been working on it for a year now. Map: I made a map on Mac Paint, but I don't know how to give it to you. Any help would be nice.. I can email it to a mod if that works. 21. So some people at the fishing guild were talking yesterday about how as your fishing level increases, your ratio of lower level finish to higher level fish starts to skew towards higher. The specific case they were talking about is that as your fishing level increases, the fish you catch at a tuna/sword spot start to transfer half a percent from tuna to swordfish per level. Is there any data that supports this? I searched through the web a little bit but I couldn't find any refutation or confirmation of this..
  22. So i recently took back up nat crafting, and i am seeing a ton of people with nat tiaras, but not very many with wicked hoods. I am using my hood, but is there any reason why so many people prefer the tiara to the hood?
  23. Pretty simple, what should I use it on? Was thinking either Prayer, RCing or Summoning.. (I know i don't have the farming level yet for the quest, I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with it.) Stats in sig.
