That isn't necessarily true. Usually when you make friends on the internet, it is through an activity that you both have in common. (RuneScape in this Tip.It instance I suppose) Sure, it works the same way in real life, but if you live someplace where there are only 20 people that share your hobby as opposed to 200 that you met on a website. The pool is much larger to meet people that you like. I also depends on how social you are among many other things.

Something I noticed a few years back is that I never call people by their names, regardless of what our relationship status is (friends/significant other/acquaintance). I really only use names to draw in their attention if I don't already have it. Come to think of it, that might be why I'm really bad at remembering people's names. You can introduce someone to me, and 30 seconds later I have no clue what their name is.

It really surprises me how close to the shore dolphins will come. You can usually watch the dolphins fish in the mornings if you look for them. It is really easy to spot them when the sun glistens off of their fins.

I first saw Teeth in 2009. It is a great movie if you don't mind seeing decapitated wieners.
