@ Correct, I don't think it will be another crash grab, as the entire reasoning behind bringing back the F2P HS seems to be to get on our good side to win some silly award. If they do bring them back, I doubt it will be a microtransaction, although it is possible. I, for one, really doubt people would pay for something like that, although.... people do seem to buy spins, and to me that is even sillier. I thought I would also add that as our Top 10 Ranking List for Range apparently was almost 100% inaccurate, we are going to have to rebuild it from the ground up (which is why you will see people listed there at only 13m xp). Although our source was correct for the other rankings, apparently they messed up big time for range. If you meet the reqs, let us know, and we will add you to it. It's not the only ranking that was inaccurate, but it was the only one that needs to be completely redone.

I agree, it was extremely vague, and no, that's all we have heard about it until now. However, word has been going around for months before that post that the F2P Highscores would be coming back. However, of course, news like this has circulated very fast among the f2p community. That's why in all my posts I put "if" Jagex brings back the HS. "If", because although I am hopeful, until it actually happens i am not banking on it coming to pass.

There's been a lot of questions concerning the future of the 250 Lists & Purefreetoplay Fansite regarding the news about the F2P Highscores returning. Figured I might as well address this. In the event that the F2P highscores are indeed re-instated, the 250 List will still exist (I would think this would be obvious, but many have asked me). At this point, we have also decided to keep hosting it on the fansite Purefreetoplay.comze.com. I for one, was all for returning to the roots of the list and hosting it once again on Runehead, but my team and I have had a lengthy discussion, and have decided to keep it on comze, at least for now. The reason being that on Runehead, the only thing possible IS the list, while on a fully fledged fansite, things like The Achievements, Top 10 Rankings, 200M List, and Player Nationalities (among others) can all be kept in one place, and made easy to access. This is opposed to creating and maintaining many different lists on runehead. The workload of keeping it all on the comze site is tremendously less. I still am open to moving back to Runehead and to the roots of the list, but as of now, it will be kept on Purefreetoplay.comze.com. This is subject to change. The one thing that will be completely removed in the event of the F2P Hs returning, is our Player Profiles. This is because the F2P HS will have real-time updating, rendering our player profiles completely obsolete. We have currently stopped updating the profiles already, but we will leave them up on the site until the highscores are re-instated, just in case Jagex does not make good on this promise. I will also remain as your list maintainer, until such a time as I can no longer do so. If anyone else believes they can do a better job, or wants to take over my place as the current list maintainer, let me know, and if you are sincere, I would not object. Just like many of the previous list maintainers, I am more then happy to do this for F2P, but if some one legitimately thinks they can do a better job (and will follow through), then they can feel free to do so, with my blessing. The only rule set down that has been passed on is the fact that the list is not allowed to be automatically updated, and so, the list will always need a maintainer. I hope to remain your maintainer for many more years to come, as it is something I very much enjoy doing for everyone. If/after the F2P Highscores return, the list will return to it's weekly update cycle (like it used to be). Unfortunately, the 1hour+ it will take to update 250 names is something I'm not willing to do every single day. The current Active List(s) will be archived the day before the HS come back, much like the original Top 250 List, and the Converted list will be updated, and become the new Active List. The top 10 rankings will also be updated weekly. The lists will also be simplified, nationalities will still be included, but the date & verified columns will be removed. There will simply be the Last Updated on ../../.... at the top to let everyone know when the stats were updated. Everyone will be updated the same day. The Future Of This Thread? This forum thread will become much like the old list thread, a place to discuss the list in general, point out errors, give feedback and ideas. I also hope that the nationality of players will continue to be posted on here, so that we can add the correct flag to their name on the list. As well, any new names that will be needed to be added should be posted here as well. I am planning on keeping open the email account [email protected] for the same reason, though if it becomes very inactive, I will abandon it. This forum will also always remain a place for everyone to discuss issues pertaining to F2P and the Lists. I also plan to post a weekly picture of the top players on the List(s), much like A U R A used to. The Highscores coming back to F2P heralds a new era for F2P, and a return to what is right. It is a great opportunity for us, and will only help to strengthen and improve the accuracy of the 250 Lists & the fansite. Hopefully i've answered everyone's questions. If you have any more, feel free to message me on here, in-game, or post on the forum. In the meantime, until they do return, i'd like to encourage everyone to keep posting their stats on here or sending to our email, so that the list can be kept up to date. ~L0RD Slaya

I'm trying to beat my friend I Maxed Cash, who is only a few levels ahead of me (currently 1510 total) so I've been levelling up a lot of stuff. My prayer level: My Woodcutting level. And My Mining Level Mining was a hard one for me to get, as the two of us really do not get along, but thanks to the Rs Olympics, was already at less then 100K to level. Not sure what my next level ups will be to reach 1511, probably DG and a few others. Should also mentioned I reached my 15m goals for atk, str, and def. I also haven't been levelling prayer on purpose (if u r wondering why it is low) since i like 123 cb and use xp lamps on it, so wanted wiggle room. However, since Jagex will be forcing EOC on us and changing our cbs, i have realized theres no point in holding off training it anymore.

Yeah, don't pay it any attention. So long as you weren't botting, it's not going to affect you at all, other then making you angry :P

Levelled DG, first time in a bit. Also got a craft level earlier today, but cbb to screenie each and every one. I'm used to always having a strong level goal in mind for everything, always focusing on a 99 or specific goals in each stat, so skill hopping like i've been doing is a relatively new experience for me.

By all accounts, El Popo1 went p2p because he was bored in f2p, not having and f2p skills left to train that he enjoyed. Water however..... I feel bad for.

I for one, really hope this is true and that jagex makes good on the promise. If they do, our list can once again be brought to 100% accuracy. I feel bad for those who left the f2p game because of the highscore removal, though.... I'll suspend work on player profiles for now, but will resume it if jagex does not follow through with this. Let's sincerely hope this does actually happen ^_^

Hey everyone, thought i'd keep you posted. Just did our biggest list-specific update yet. Check out the site, and you'll instantly see what I mean. No, you didn't click on the wrong one. All our list are now at 250 names :) A big thanks out to TFS and the creators/maintainers of the TFS highscores. WIth their blessing, we have absorbed the TFS highscores into our 250 list. Honestly... that was the most work that I think i've ever done in one sitting. Not just because there was so much info, but because I had to make sure I finished all 4 lists at once (both active and both converted) otherwise I know I would be spammed by emails about the inconsistencies. And because of that, I don't think I will be doing that again anytime soon. I don't imagine i'll be updating the names from TFS HS that i pulled more then every 3-4months. That means if you are in TFS and already post stats updates (via email or this forum) please keep doing so. **For anyone whose name was already on the list, but there was a discrepancy between the two (lower total xp on the hs then on our list but higher total, etc) I left unchanged.** Thought I would Throw out some stats now: Level requirement for: The Active Top 250 F2p Skill Total List - 755+ Experience requirement for: The Active Top 250 F2p Experience List - 12,326,077+ Level requirement for: The Converted Top 250 F2p Skill Total List - 1462+ Experience requirement for: The Converted Top 250 f2p Skill Total List - 137,029,368+ I have also re-instated the Potentials List, something used for the original lists. If your name was previously on our list but bumped off, it has been archived there. Also, if any submission is sent in that no longer meets the requirements, we will store it there, in case a player is removed and a spot is opened up. Also, if you do not meet the requirements but would still like to be on the site, you can still send in a normal submission, and we will add you to the National Heads of RS list, and also to the Player Profiles + f2p account list, and any other relevant area of the site. ~Slaya

He has my fullest support, I know exactly how hard it is to start these things from near scratch and get them rolling. I'll also add a link to his list under External Links on my site. He asked me if I would be willing to make the list, but I declined, as I have no real ties to the F2p Skiller community and thus do not believe I could appropriately understand their journey and make + maintain a list catered to them. If you wish to continue discussing his new list, I might suggest making a new forum thread for it, as it doesn't have anything to do with the Top 250 List or the fansite that hosts it, and a tip.it thread would definitely help it gain some traction and attention. It depends, basically there's 4 different 250 lists atm. The Active Total list accepts any pure f2per of any level atm, because we are trying to build the database for later on, and since it only shows the active f2pers, not all 250 spots have been filled yet. The same with the Active Experience list. To be on the Converted 250 Skill Total List, you need 1450 total level or higher. To be on the Converted 250 Experience List, you need 130.2m+ total xp. Canadian pure f2pers ftw! ^_^

I don't think i've ever posted on a forum so many times in a short space of time, but I think it's due :P The National Heads Of Rs list has been finished and uploaded into our system. Credit to Lord Adib for the original list & foundation. You can find it here. I have listed it tentatively on the same page as the 250 list menu, but that is subject to change if I can find a more appropriate area of the site to put it up. Also, due to the fact that quite a large number of the people on the list now have their nationalities verified (a big thank you to Fire Hawk154 for that), I might be able to update the 250 lists to show nationality as well, sooner then expected. While the National Heads Of RS list will be up soon, im going to hold off adding the actual flags to the 250 List(s) as 90% of the countries of players are unknown, making it look, extremely spaced out. I'll start to build a database of the countries of players. When 50%+ of the names on the active list have been filled in, i'll implement it. If you know the nationality of a player on the list, feel free to post it ^^ Also going to add spots for minigames on the Rankings page. However, I'm having difficulty finding good resolution minigame logos that I am free to use. Does anyone have some/know where to find some? Appreciate it, Slaya

Maybe that's more work than it's worth, but just a thought. :) The problem is that when I try and actually input new code like that into the list, everything bugs out. Names get moved around, rows don't line up, all that jazz. It's unfortunate, but that's what happens. Inserting a little picture has minimum collateral damage, but making mouse-over options (like i tried to do for player profiles) really just gums up the works. I am planning on listing everyone's whose country is known that is on the list also on the National Heads of Rs List (ty for it Adib :) ), and there their country will be written out next to the flag. And about the fc F2P United I Am Not The Owner. I thought I would re-iterate it here, again. Although the friends chat has the full support of me and my team, we do not run it. Yes, I do personally know the player who does, but he does not want me to give out his RSN (for now anyways) so that way he will be treated equally in it, and no one will be sucking up/spamming him for & about ranks. I cannot handle the strain of running a potentially large friends chat on top of my own clan and everything I do for the list. Please refrain from spamming me about ranks instead, as honestly, I have no control over it. As for what I'm aware of the ranking system, everyone who was ranked in the friends chat Pure F2ps will also have a rank in F2P United. Beyond that, it's all going to be ranked based on activity / usage & maturity. If he decides to do it some other way, I'll make sure to post it here (or hopefully get him to let you know himself)

been tinkering around with the nationalities idea, ive come up with something that I think looks halfway decent, and i'd like some feedback ^_^. I just picked randomly several players from the top of the list that I already knew the nationality of. I also absorbed the row where it says "Yes" for verified into the row for the date. *internal logic loop, if there's a date marked, it means they are already verified anyways*. This is so that the list will remain approximately the same size, to make things easier for myself. There's also the updated player profile design, would like your opinion on it as well. Used my own profile, as it's the only one I really felt comfortable messing around with :P *ignore the lack of space between the icon and the word homeworld* What do you guys think? -Should also mention there's going to be a list as well, showing players and just their nationalities (written as well for those of you who don't recognize all the flags :P). Credit to Lord Adib for preserving and providing me with it. It should be up and hosted on the site during my next big update.

As for most 99s in one party, that's something I never thought of, but that's definitely epic and worth a spot. Now what logo to attach to that one... hmm... @ Wertyue - thanks for letting us know about the error, we will fix it in the next update. So we have decided to add a very small column to the 250 list + to player profiles (and possibly an entirely separate list for this as well) that lists which country players are from. If we don't know the country, it will be left blank. It's not required, but It seems to be something that lot's of people are interested in, so I figured I'd meet the demand and put it in :) Also I mentioned earlier that a new Friend Chat for Pure F2pers had been created and would be opened to the general public. It has been opened up, so everyone who wants to can definitely use it. It is called F2P United, and has the fullest support from our team. I do not run it, but I do know the owner, so can help with any issues. We're hoping it will be a good replacement for the friend chat Pure F2ps, which has become unused due to the inactivity of the owner. Everyone is welcome in F2P United (I'll be spending some of my time in there as well :P), so hopefully I'll see some of you guys in there ^_^ The next site update should be in a few hours.

Very Long Forum Post To Follow: The site has been updated. Or should I say.... moved. Those of you who head over to http://www.purefreetoplay.cu.cc/ should see something that looks like this: That's right, we moved. This is because of the many, many problems that surrounded the Cu.Cc name. The new site can be found here: http://purefreetoplay.comze.com/ . Originally, comze was a dummy site that we used to try out site changes and updates before we applied them to the Cu.Cc site, but we have decided to fully move our community over to there. Purefreetoplay.cu.cc will be left up with this message to redirect people to the new site for a period of approximately one month. Afterwards, we will either set it to automatically redirect to Comze, or take it down entirely. We've had a good run with Cu.Cc, but it's time to move on. I'm sure everyone will be much happier with a .Com website address, and hopefully there will be no more problems with people accessing it :smile: Regarding Player Profiles : everyone who has sent us in a valid, formal submission will have a player profile. It is similar to our old highscore pages once hosted on the RS website. Originally we had planned to link each players name on the list to their profile, however all the links in the list reduced the functionality, and made it very cluttered. As well, making a separate page for each profile page drove the maintenance level/disk usage of our site through the roof. For the moment, player profiles have been listed alphabetically. Later, when we have a bigger database of names (Maybe for when we hit a full 250 names on the active list :P ) we will make them even more aesthetically pleasing, and closer to what was once hosted on the RS website, a page for each profile, and the ability to search & compare. However, for now, this will have to do. Player profiles will not be updated as regularly as the list, but we will do our best. If your player profile has a mistake for a level, don't worry, just let us know when you send in your next update and we will fix it. Also, under profiles we list clan affiliations. If we do not know which clan you are associated with, it is marked N/A. You can also notify us of any changes to that when you submit a stat update. Also if we forgot/missed you when making the profiles even though you sent in a valid submission, let us know with your next update. Once again, these are a work in progress, so go easy on them :P The site is a lot bigger, approximately 6 times the size of the old one, so it might take some getting used to, but it has a lot more to offer.
