There is no official clan for it, as we all have our own, separate clans. The unofficial Friends Chat for it would be Pure F2ps. As for f2p clans, the big three would be TFS, Free Players, and The Living Legends.

The new Converted Top 250 F2P Skill Total List (jeez, that's a mouthful) has been successfully completed and uploaded, and is now available for viewing on our site :D That marks the third list that purefreetoplay.cu.cc is currently hosting, and this one was by far the most work. This new list will be updated with submissions the exact same way that the Active Top 250 F2P Skill Total List is. On a side note, our gallery has been updated as well, and now has a separate spot for pictures of 99 Parties. Credit for the new picture uploads goes to I Eat Sub, Kaida23, Medieval Kid, and myself. Keep those submissions coming :)

It's true, people who are completely new to the game will take advantage of the trial, and will not go the pure f2p route. To be honest, most of us would have done the same if it was offered to us in that manner when we had started playing. Very few pure f2p accounts were started with the intention of remaining pure f2p. However, I know of many players who have quit the game and are returning, who have decided to make F2P accounts, besides the existing player base which has also been making them. I for one, have simply been promoting the F2P way as best I can, and doing my best to convince any of our remaining pure f2pers who are thinking about leaving us to stay. It seems like all we can do at the moment, until Jagex removes this trial (if they ever do).

When you make a new account now it does automatically log you into a p2p world, but you can click X before it finishes logging you in. Then, next time you log on the account, you can pick your world, and choose a f2p one. Not a perfect alternative, but it works. Also you wont be able to use the SOF on a f2p world until the trial is up, so no qualms about unfairness of extra spins, so it is technically possible to still make a f2p account. Its just a lot of work.

Would like to thank everyone who has applied once again :) Feel i should also mention that the site (and the new 250 list) is about to have a very large overhaul, after a lengthy team discussion. More details can be found on the actual website, and the update should take place this weekend.

Personally, I hope the combat update is not implemented in F2P. It looks to me like something that would have a real negative impact on most of our training methods, and from what i have seen in the videos, only P2Pers would really reap the benefits to begin with. I'm just glad i finished my melees off before they sprung this on us.

The reason you can't access the site, which has already been explained, is because some people have used cu.cc to make bad sites since it is a free hosting service. Your antivirus looks at cu.cc it as a whole, not the individual site, and blocks it for that reason. It's unfortunate, but at the moment I'm not sure how to fix that. Thank you for the post, and I think you summed up our views on the new P2P trial quite well. Your screenie needs to show total xp as well btw, so that we can add you.
