  1. Wow nice! 25 people with 3b on front page, how many others have 3b exp? Elias, Jowett are the only other guys I know of.
  2. Congrats to Forsberg888 on 200m #13 - Thieving. No sign as to what he will do next at this time.
  3. Huge congrats to Goud/Geel on achieving 200m divination who now has half (13) of the 26 available skills at 200m! Look forward to some slayer gains as well as some time spent at BA and SC for le bonus exp.
  4. Forsberg888 should be done Thieve on Wednesday/Thursday, and Goud is probably going to get 200m Divination on Thursday. In addition to Drumgun and Dragonseance, we will see Goud farming his bonus exp after Divination, along side Slayer. Goud should also challenge for rank 6 overall very soon.
  5. Ye Vleademir, The ports armour isn't quite worth getting if that's the kind of PvM you do. I would recommend doing summoning over the weekend! Good luck on 90 smith! S
  6. Glacors are a much better method because it's 3 things: good exp, good gp, and good charms. The only reason daggs should be considered would be for the AFKing. Daggs are upwards of 400 crimsons per hour as you've mentioned, and I barrage would be much better than blitz, but still very doable until you have achieved the level for barrage. And as someone mentioned, Rock barrage and blitz are more effective. Good luck!
  7. I'd say around 60% of mining is from actual training. Your current context is that you don't do warbands, and the individuals you do know farm it for the mining xp. I do warbands with a fc which isn't full of maxed players, and found that mostly herb/farm was the most looted camp. Most of the time when I did wbs last week <5 were looting mining in my fc, out of 40. And there was 15+ looting farming/herb/smith. The reason why so little people (unmaxed) will wb mining is because they can go afk at lrc, but they don't have the gp to buy 99 herb/farm/smith/con respectively. However, it would be interesting to see the exact amounts of how much experience comes from warbands per day, I think the results would be surprising.... This is very well put, warband prod. I've mentioned before that we don't understand that the whole of rs isn't maxed or going for 200ms. Even in an fc of players 2400+ total, a huge % doesn't loot mine on a regular basis. Personally I loot mining as often as possible, and I ask others why they loot other tents, and their answers are gp-related, or time related (farm). A lot of people opt for those options when they can AFK LRC for good exp rates or they have trouble making gp - and TBH a herb tent is worth upwards of 7m gp. You can't pigeon-hole everyone into the same category here. Also, a lot of people stop warbanding at 99 and have no ambition of going farther.
  8. Congratulations to Forsberg888 on 200m fletching today for 200m #12, and to My Kingz on 200m strength and 200m #15!
  9. What slow skills will you be doing next, Alkan? Looks like Forsberg888 is doing thieving and fletching via traders. Look to see 200m fletch in the near future.
  10. Doubt it as of now. Forsberg888 has started doing herblore, wonder if we will see a straight 200m shot. If so we could see him pass Elvis for rank 8. We may also be coming up on a switching of spots for ranks 6 + 7 with Geel putting in some solid gains. It's nice to see so much place changing as of late in the top 15!
  11. I seriously don't understand why Jagex is polling things like Legacy mode. It's [bleep] 2 steps forward 1 step back all the time. EOC was the evolution of the game, it should not be reverted, or another system should not even exist along side it. I don't even know who's voting FOR it and it's winning by a landslide. And as to the post about the Giant mole, a lot of low levelled players actually do it, so for them, it was a good update. You tend to forget that not everyone on RS is maxed/going for 200m.
  12. You have democratic power in this decision. It's an amazing gift that Jagex is giving to you. Don't waste it by voting for the lesser of two evils when the choice you want is right there. One of the two choices will win, and that will be double exp. The thing you need to realise is that to be ignorant in this situation won't actually pay off. When Jagex gives you lemons, make lemonade.
  13. I would rather not vote, but seeing as 1 will win, I will chose xp over double drops. I disagree with doing either of these weekends. Both ways RS doesn't benefit much even though we will see more players on during that weekend than we have for a while. Whether we have double exp or double loot I will take part any way, and I guess it's made me a fair bit of cash. If you can't beat em, join em.
  14. How long does it take to do the 20 skills for T3 JOT? Also, if 200m in a skill, it works towards the 20 skills?
  15. So new auras are out. As of early discussion in EE seems you should buy them in this order T3 Jack of trades > T5 thieving > T5 divination. The JOT aura gives 2x exp of the T1 so I guess like ~18k exp and needs 20 skills to get the exp reward. T5 thieve is 330k exp/hr at traders, and divination is a 15% increase of enriched memories which should be around 7 minutes saved when used. Overall pretty good update in the aura department.
  16. Some very balanced players, not 120 all, but nonetheless getting close, are Wisely Done, and Kuzi.
  17. Here is a map of the upper level. The best 2 islands are 32 and 30, with 29, 27, and 25 also being pretty good. These islands have a high propensity to have nodes, which are the best exp at runespan. You should remember to siphon body runes before getting there because you have to hop between islands (32-30).
  18. Congrats to front pagers on 200ms, My Kingz with 200m herblore and runecrafting, and Angerfist with 200m strength. #EE
  19. 20-30 worlds just to yourself and no one else mining?
  20. If you didn't super heat then you were doing it wrong anyways. Also @ many people posting and you know who you are, a personal opinion does not justify your argument.
  21. Much reason. 400 hours + 133 hours to achieve relatively the same thing that previous mining would produce (mining + magic). Mining 200 pre warbands (888 hours which = 200m mage/smith). Now 533. Just over 1.5% actual increase in exp/time, far less than the affect runespan had.
  22. Warbands devalues experience in skills. It does this because the achievments (lv99, 200m) are infinitely easier for everyone to get. SoF devalues XP to an extent, but it is less impactful because only people who have enough $$ can buy that amount of XP. Warbands is a repeatable activity that anyone in game can participate in. This has essentially reduced the value of all other content that creates XP in those skills. You are thinking close mindedly about what I stated. Warbands should not affect anyone's previous achievements or current achievements, devaluation should not change the mind set someone has on a an achievement. Does getting 200m fishing with SC or 200m agi also devalue experience? From your view, yes. But, it should not devalue anyone's achievements because either way, warbands, SC, BA, or not, you still achieved something; and efficiently at that. Would be like saying people with 200m RC at span didn't achieve the same thing as someone who ran runes. As I've stated, the game is evolving and everything will become faster. Do I completely agree with the amount of exp Warbands gives? Not really, but you need to accept RS will get faster and new methods will arise and as that happens, I guess some individuals will find their exps devalued.
  23. Warbands should not affect anyone`s achievements either, yet you imply they do.
  24. I honestly don't see a need to nerf warbands. I surely agree that the exp from them is quite high, but with it comes with a danger and you are never guaranteed to get the full amount of supplies. Even if bonus exp was instilled instead of instant exp, just as many people would take part. In the end Mining would still end up bring 240k exp/hr of guaranteed experience. Regardless, it's free exp which ever way you decide to slice it. If you want to fix it completely, than a complete removal would be the only way. Most people who avoid WBS are players who feel their exp devalued. It should not make them think that. As the game evolves, it will become easier... this is a fact. Warbands may be taking it too far, but nonetheless new content will render old content inefficient and render it insignificant ie. what runespan did to regular altar running. Someone mentioned that highscores for mining are forever ruined, well that is also true for many other skills where countless people have done far worse buy buying their exp (SOF). The highscores have become less legit every day since the release of SOF, whereas with warbands it hasn't had much of an overall affect. You tend to forget that most people don't do warbands, and if they do, they either stop at 99 or continue trying to achieve a larger goal, which isn't that many in the grand scheme of things. In conclusion, my post may be a little untidy with the structure but the gist of it is is that, warbands don't nessacrily change too much, sure they make the game easier, but as we progress, everything will eventually evolve, and do just that - get easier.
  25. Congrats to Buddhism on 200m #11 - Summoning!
