I disagree. I think removing bots from the top ranks is far more important than fruitlessly going after RWT'ers, particularly after Jagex's failed performance these past few years. Besides, I dislike cheaters in RS far more than just some people trying to make easy real life cash. I agree, cheaters bother me far more than someone trying to make irl cash.
For some top players, I don't think it's really relevant just because they have most skills that can be done at a bank already done. I'm sure quite a few people with aspirations of moving up, like myself, are doing PoP to an extent and working towards the refurbrished workshop. On a side note - I do love PoP so I might be a little biased and most of my friends who are doing it need it in order to to get Trim back so it might just be me.
Would you want someone who's just trained 1 skill or a couple ahead of you? I sure wouldn't enjoy if someone with 700 total and 4 200m's was ahead of me in OVERALL highscores. That 200m they have is just relevant in that skill - keep it in it's 'own' highscores.
Drumgun has started farming, he was also at Lava Flow mine, not sure if he was getting the suit or doing it for experience, could 200m mining be his next skill after firemaking? He's also 2.7m exp off 200m woodcutting and closing in on 200m firemaking. Also, Dragonseance is 450k off 200m herblore.
Does he happen to be any good at flipping? That can bring in pretty good cash flow after some practice and seeing as he has the motivation for 5b all, it would be a good skill to have.
If you are worried about dying and don't have great DG partners I would definitely go with a more defensive bind like primal legs. Right now blood neck isn't very great in EoC, so I wouldn't get that right away. As for the Hex, I would bind that over just about anything even without 99 range, then go get 99 :D just because they rarity.
