  1. Some insight as in the tiny bits of lore, not the whole story usually told in the quests. You get to familiarise with the concept of the powers aligned to Zaros already during Desert Treasure, not to talk about the rest of the quests and their rewards, which only sum up the things you know already by the time you finish the quest. One could proxy chicken slaughtering in Lumbridge up to attempting to protect/attack Guthix give or take, so there's that. Proxies by themselves do not tell a story.
  2. I aknowledge the lore aspect, but what they make it out to be this skill seems to a bit more integral to the story than that. I don't think a skill, attribute or whatever should be a story medium.
  3. My problem was how they're forcing the storyline into a skill mould when there wasn't any need for such - nor that there ever was any need for frequent new skills.
  4. Yet another skill for the sake of a new skill. They could've adapted the storyline more fluenty into the game, Jagex is being way too forceful with their skill model.
  5. Hypotheory needs to be convincing for it to be able to survive. Your brainfart you're so much apologizing lasted for mere seconds.
  6. Mort Myre, Morytania etc. derive from romance word 'mort' meaning death. We actually have Death already ingame, do you propose him as a god? Didn't he serve Guthix? BTW, "the lesser god" was Zaros. It was a hypothetical cenerio. Sorry, I should have told you. Not so much of a hypotheorizing than throwing random shit around.

  8. Some people seem to have a calling to forget the tags and spoil the **** out of this quest.
  9. IMO it's starting to get to be a quite a pain in the ass when the skill requirements are passing lvl 50-60s, where the xp'ing really starts to take time, you know, from things like questing. Jagex really should put more emphasis on actual questing and make a proper flow where you don't suddenly need to jump from a quest series to grinding for days.
  10. Yeah, a couple of monsters and dungeons where the actual action is. In a game this large and still expanding...
  11. It's not "just favoritism", it's segrerating whole groups of people into social constructs they'll have hard time in. The whole phenomenom of exluding people from work while shunning them because of not doing work is just feeding itself and really is - just as I said earlier - a ridicilous excuse for one's racism. If any time in human history the poor were able to fight social injustice there would've never been any altruistic pursuits.
  12. Satellite Stories, great indie pop band from Finland. People have compared them to Two Door Cinema Club, I'd say they're even better. I was at their gig some time ago, the whole house was on fire: so full of energy in their music and performing.
  13. Half-arsed excuses for racism is happening like Assume Nothing pointed out and you're telling us public governing going forwards it is "institutionalized racism"?
  14. "Oh, I'm not being racist - I'm just judging people based on my bigoted views about their ethnic background instead of their own personal merits." Kinda funny that you're contradicting yourself and clearly implying the opposite of what you claimed.
  15. Jagex (and many other game studios for that matter) are on an doomed mission trying to cater for everybody, with finite resources and typical attention span in gaming for implemented stuff go get on all of it's glory. When developers hadn't had the chance to pull the full potential not only from the "majority content" but also the "minority stuff" gets under the shadow, all of the audience is going to suffer from it. But yeah, if they see such philosophy fit for their game, then so be it.
