  1. Arguing with a fellow saying multipliers do not stack right. Arguing, that the 1.5x boost from pendant, and 2x from a penance horn (doing agility) should stack into 3.5x experience. As in, 200% and 150% = 350% experience. However, them only being 300% experience is "wrong" (Even though 1.5x * 2x = 3x) Also arguing that, a 10% discount coupon, and a 25% coupon in a store would be 35% off. Which is why 200% experience and 150% experience should be 350% experience. I know there's some trickery with the % here. And I am fairly certain I am correct on this matter (2x * 1.5x should be 300%, or if additive, it would turn out as 2.5x experience, not 3.5x experience.) I want confirmation I'm correct. (And that my mind isn't in a bad place today) and, if I'm correct, a way of explaining how he is wrong because I just can't seem to put it into words. So I'd appreciate if someone could explain why either he, or I, am a fool.
  2. According to the thread on RSOF, it won't be open right after the update. "Mod Chris E said: The beta will not open immediately after the reboot, we need a little time to test this build in the live environment before we open it up. Hopefully not too long though!" Seems someone beat me to it by seconds! And with an image to boot.
  3. True, and the fact that they need 2 more levels to be better at moving through the map. Which will prove useful to finding the yellow magician. Or if they choose to just stay at nodes. Currently timing how much exp I'm going to get in 1 hour. And the experience I receive from Runespan was 80k exp in 1 hour. I'm level 89 in runecrafting. (Of course, this was hunting down yellow wizards, getting 10 of each rune from the mage at the entrance, trying to siphon as many helpful/experience giving nodes while waiting for the wizards to call for help.)
  4. Mining would be around 90-120k mining exp/hour. This depends entirely on if you do Barbarian Assault, and if the team you use is excellent, or terrible (Chances of finding 4 random people who knows what they are doing is rare, if you have 4 friends however) Without penance horn, 90-100k xp/hour depending on level/boost available. I've heard people have been getting 100k xp/hour at runespan. Although I have no idea if these claims are true.
  5. Ah, the citadel upkeep being lowered is quite a lovely update. My belief is that you should be able to have a small clan, even if that does not mean it'll grow/keep up as easily as a big one.
  6. Action-bar setups differ a bit, but what I've currently got is: Slice, Fury, Dismember, Sever, Smash, Cleave, Quake, Hurricane, Berserk, Create Gatestone, Gatestone Teleport, Group Gatestone Teleport. (For dungeoneering, the 3 last ones are essential to do it as quickly as possible.) And what I do for the actions, is I use Slice inbetween each action. (Sever, Slice, Dismember, Slice, Fury, Slice) and so on. As for rushing, I believe I've heard melee + ranged is the best combination. Although, from the looks of it, your magic is in fact higher. I'm not sure how useful having magic is, since switching to it can be quite annoying. (But it will be needed for bosses like Necrolord) so as long as you perhaps bind a magical blastbox + a staff in case of a Necrolord, you should be fine. You don't really need both magic and melee on the same bar either.
