Hey everyone! I tried to do QBD a few weeks back, and I got to (I think) phase three. Unfortunately, I died. Now I have a Black Dragon task, and a QBD Reaper task. Can anyone suggest things I can chage/strategies I should use to stay alive? Thanks Dash! I thought t90 Boots degraded like the Stryke Bow/Staff of Darkness (you lose the original item, but keep the upgrade piece). Turns out you keep the original, but lose the upgrade piece which works much better for DIYer's/Ironmen. Since I won't have to farm Glacors every 10 hours, I'll definitely get these boots. I'd also just get t90 armor since t80 has been outclassed, but it degrades to dust and takes lots of hours to replace, so I will stick to Nex gear until I can find a better solution. :) Out of curiosity, why did you suggest Silverhawks and Void? Silverhawks have very low defence, and Void has much better alternatives (at least it seems to).

Hey everyone! I've been working for the last few months trying to get the equipment, supplies, and levels I need to start doing some real PvM. My main question is: what do I still need to do/get? It seems like, for some bosses, everyone has their own opinions about what's best, but for others, gear and level reqs are pretty much set in stone. My original plan was to get Ascension Crossbows, and then solo Nex until I got all three t80 power armors. But I feel like that's probably not the best course of action. So what do you all suggest I should do? What levels do I still need, etc.? I should mention I play DIY. Here's where I stand now: -90 Attack -90 Strength -93 Defence -90 Magic -90 Ranged -93 LP -95 Prayer -86 Summoning (96?) -91 Herblore (97 w/ +2 God Banner boost?) Armor/Weapons Armor: Full Superior Melee/Magic/Ranged POP armor Cape: All 3 Kiln Capes Ammy: Dragon Rider Weapons: Melee/Magic dual-wields, Attuned Crystal Bow Gloves: Barrows (Auto gloves?) Boots: Warpriest (Glacor?) Ring: 6aC/TokKul-Zo

Yeah, I do it more for the collection aspect of it. All WE3 rewards are still available, and the D&D is still replayable for Renown. The Cuirass (only reward I wasn't able to unlock) is 10k Renown, though. :(

Thanks guys! That makes me feel a lot better. I got everything from the event except the Cuirass and ability. Hopefully Airut will have both.

Hey everyone! I fell behind on the Tuska event due to IRL issues, and now I don't have enough Renown for the Tuska Curiass and Tuska's Wrath rewards. Does anyone know if these will be available post-event? Possibly from Airut? Thanks!

Thanks everyone! Statistically, Att. Crystal Bow is better than Chaotics, so I shouldn't have any trouble doing QBD. I have DL armor, Att. Crystal, Super Antis, and SS. But, like Wkw pointed out, QBD is totally RNG, wheras I can work up to Chaotics. Also, Monarch, my bad. :oops: could have sworn Zaryte shot arrows when I wrote this, but it definitely does not. Looks like Chaotics it is. I'd like to skip them since I'm working on Ascs too, but I don't see another option.

Hey everyone! So I currently have an Att. Crystal Bow and DL Darts. But, I need something that fires actual ammunition (mainly Dragon Bane for Rue Dragons). I've listed my options below, and would like to hear all of your opinions on each. I play DIY, so I'll be getting all of these weapons as drops/building them myself.If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Royal Crossbow: Would have to kill QBD to build and Brandish crossbow. Dark Bow: Would have to kill Dark Beasts Zaryte Bow: Would have to solo Nex (no experience). Ascensions: Need 95 Slayer (currently 93) and 12 Signets.

Thanks guys! I combined the Artisan/Gathering tabs, sold the junk tab, and made one big Slayer, TT, TH, and drops tab. Got some wiggle room now. :)

Hey everyone! So I sold my bank at the beginning of the year, and I came up with what I thought was a better system. But, I don't think it actually is better. I was hoping some wise RS players out there might have better suggestions. My main issue isn't space, it's just lack of available tabs. I'd like a Slayer tab, but there is literally no more room. I've added what my current setup is atm, so let me know what I should change! Everything in tabs 1 - 6 is suited to my current levels. Everything after that is in alphabetical chaos. Tab 1: Currencies, current goals: -Coins, Vis Wax, Asc Bow components Tab 2: Teleportation and Misc.: -Achievement set, seasonal/limited auras, just about every teleportation item Tab 3: Combat: -Finished potions and food, auras, weapons/armor, other combat aids Tab 4: Herblore and Summoning: -Essentially extended combat tab, but for unfinished products Tab 5: Gathering Skills Tab 6: Artisan Skills Tab 7: Stuff I Occasionally Use and Can't Get Rid Of. Sure, no problem! So you only ever buy Supers and Renewals, correct? You make your own p-pots, antifire/super antifire, super-antipoisons? I ask because I want to try and make it as useful as possible. :)

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately, Sea Singer's is the only armor I've got for now. I can't fight Nex, so t80 armor is out for the time being. I'll have to try safespotting when the Glacytes come out. I usually kill Sapping first, then Enduring. Every now and again I'll slip up and leave Sapping/Enduring for last, which usually ends up in me using way too many pots/food. And thanks Syd! I'll add you for the next time I go out there. :)

Thanks guys! I have a lot of trouble watching out for the big icycles, especially when knocking out the Glacytes. I guess I'll get that part down with ecperience. As for the boots, I play DIY, so getting newer boots is going to be difficult. I've never done Zammy GWD, but if I can do well enough, I'll try to get Sub boots.

Hey everyone! I've been trying to farm Glacors for a while now for their tank boot drops. I read the other day that Rune Dragons are going to drop upgrade parts for Glacor boots, so I want to get them now more than ever. But, whenever I go, I can only get a few kills in before I have to bank. My levels and armor are decent (not top-tier), so I feel like I should be able to stay for a decent amount of time. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

Thanks wioneo! I do feel like Muspah are a better option over Light Creatures. I'll have to go back to Fren and try killing Muspahs again. I had a lot of trouble a few months ago, but I've got t85 weapons and armor now. Might stand a better chance. :) I didn't know Unis cut into Adrenaline. I'll have to check that out as well.

Are Demon familiars good? I haven't much of anything about them.

Okay, labs are done, so I have time to work on this tonight! Are you working in terms of starting with raw materials, or are you buying your potions off the Exchange? Also, are you looking at just Supreme Ovl Salves? If not, are there potions you don't plan on making? There are a lot of Ovl-variations that will end up interfering with the spreadsheet. If you want all Ovl-variants, it's going to take me more time. :)

Thanks guys! I questioned if Muspah was better than Light Creature, and I feel that Muspah is probably better. But Muspah supplies are super frustrating for me to gather, and Light Creatures are easy. :D I've got about 50 Bunyip pouches as well. I don't have much experience with Uni, so I just assumed Uni was better in most/all situations. I'll have to keep the Bunyips around.

They're pretty easy to make. It all just depends on what potions you want to make. Would likely be easier to tell the spreadsheet how many you want to make, and then have it present you with the needed supplies. I could make one if you want. Been meaning to anyway. I've got labs due tonight, though. I wouldn't get to it for a while.

As everyone has mentioned so far, it's a money thing. People had Glacor boots, EoC came around, boots dropped in price, and no one is willing to swap them out for more expensive boots. If you can afford it, go full Power armor like GWD armor or, eventually, Nex armor. If you want defence, go with full Superior PoP armor. Then you just have to buy Glacor boots and Automaton gloves. :P
