Hardly worth it; I rather train my free skills before attempting anything more. Yes, but when you have a daughter $8 can be put to such better use. Diapers, food, clothes, toys, gas money, Dr's bills etc. Therefore the logic really isn't there. When free time isn't an issue due to the fact that I can easily balance out my schedule, I'm not worried about how fast/slow I am obtaining exp. I rather spend the money on something useful than something that only benefits me in a game. My daughter comes first and foremost, that's just something I won't change.

Some yes, but others were quite quick. Of course the only issue is the 100 per 4 hours limit.

19 and a 2 year old kid? That must be rough. Not rough at all. She's well behaved & we aren't struggling to support her.

I have found that the following items worked well for my friend: Rune Hatchet, Chain, Legs, Skirt, Plate, Helm, Full Helm, Body, Hatchet, Longsword, Sword, Battleaxe, 2H Sword, Dagger, Warhammer. He also alchs blue d'hide shields for profit. They all give profit, even if you're buying the nature runes. It's like 200+ profit or something along those lines :) Basically, any rune item will usually give a profit. Use the High Alchemy Compare that's in the Special Calc's section.

The amount of many wasted isn't worth it though, especially when you have more important things to spend that money on. All you're spending your money for is to do more skills, and finish other skills faster. I prefer to enjoy my time and keep my money. Beside, why would you spend money to train skills that you can train for free? I can see buying membership after 80-99 of all f2p stats, but before then no. That's just the way I see it though. |^_^| Exactly! It makes you feel more accomplished because you did it without the easier resources that are available. :D On another note! Very well thought, and easy to read guide. It's helpful, mainly for members - but f2p can get some decent information out of it too :)

Today, I woke up - brushed my teeth, showered & made breakfast. I then proceeded to woodcut for about 10 minutes or so before I realized that I needed to do some house cleaning. So, that's what I am doing now. After I'm done with that, i'll play more Runescape until I have to go to work. After work I'll come home, eat dinner and then go to sleep!

Well, when I say new.. I meant new to me. I haven't played since early 2006, so most, if not all, the f2p mini-games are new to me.

Oh goodness.. there are so many things that annoy the hell out of me! I think that my top annoyance is when people complain about things that they can change. I mean why waste your time complaining when you can be changing things! It's like people who don't vote, but then whine about how they hate the president. Maybe if everyone who didn't vote, voted it'd be different. Okay, I am DONE ranting!

Hey guys, So there are a few things that I need help with; 1. Where to train My current stats are 1 Attack, 1 Strength, 1 Defense, 10 Range, 1 Magic, 12 Constitution. I am looking at some place that I can train my attack to 35, strength to 40, defense to 30 - range to 40, and magic to 55. Obviously they don't need to be all the same locations, but I just need some where to start. 2. Money Making Well, I am purely f2p, and new. I have level 1 everything right now. Is there something I should level to make the money? What items should I watch to flip? I mean what should I do for money all in all. 3. Mini-Games So, the new mini-games.. are they fun? Are they worth it? Is there anything worth getting - rewards wise. 4. Side-Quests Are there any side quests worth doing? By side quests I mean things like the witch's potion 'side quest' or something. I heard about the stronghold security 'side-quest' - are there any more? 5. Titles What kind of titles are available for f2p? & how do I obtain them? I don't have money for anything in Soloman's shop, so that's out of the question. I was just wondering if there are any that are free. 6. Anything Else Is there anything else that I should know that new about f2p?

Hello, I am Syndicore! I just made this Runescape account today, and I haven't played since 06' or so. I was directed to this site by a friend who uses it, but I don't know if they have an account here on the forums. I decided to join the forums because I find them fun and interesting; they're also a great way to meet fellow gamers. I am 19 years old, going to college to be a CNA [Certified Nurses Assistant]. I graduated in June of 2012. I am interning at a local doctors office, and so far things are going great. Hopefully she'll hire me when I graduate in June of 2016. I am a very easy-going person, and I like to talk. I also LOVE anime! Does anyone know of any F2P friend chats, or clans that I can join? Obviously I need something that doesn't require skills/levels because I just started! Farewell for now! :)
